Mary quoted a rather high price from the get-go, but she worked out a monthly payment plan with us knowing that we had a tight budget. However, in March of 2020 we had a check cashed by the temple that Mary claimed to have never received. However we could see from our bank account that the check had already been cashed! The whole company seems incredibly disorganized. We realized we needed to switch venues since my father is high-risk for COVID-19 due to being on immunosuppressants for his kidney, and so Mary recommended that we switch to Temple Sinai of Roslyn. She also works with that temple and she said they have plenty of outdoor space. However she never told us we would need a tent to do the reception outdoors, and when we asked her about getting a tent a few months later she got very defensive and said "I plan indoor events only. I had no idea you wanted an outdoor event." Even though that is exactly what we had discussed! She then insisted on using one of her "preferred" tent companies who charged us an outrageous price that we could not afford, and refused my requests to work with one of the budget-friendly tent companies I had found online. Then, after promising us multiple times that we would not owe any more money, after my husband asked her to confirm if we owed anything else she told us we owed $3,000 additional, $1,000 of which had to be in cash. I am only 28 and I am middle class so I started panicking. She proceeded to ignore all of my emails and my husband's phone calls. Instead of apologizing for the miscommunication, when my husband was forced to meet with her in person she said "there is too much tension and I cannot be a part of your wedding day." She also then demanded the full $3,000 in cash and refused our request to come up with a payment plan or otherwise extend the deadline. She also knew that my father had recently lost his job, so her lack of willingness to work with us on the money front was even more upsetting. She also refused to let me start setting up at 6 AM like I wanted at the temple, thus ruining my chance to get getting-ready photos with my bridesmaids. at that point not knowing what else to do I kept my mouth shut and tried my best to work with her but I was very upset as this is a once-in-a-lifetime thing. She then told my husband she would bring bagels for us on the wedding day as if that was supposed to make up for everything! On the wedding day itself, it was very hectic and she tried to convince me to switch to an indoor ceremony at the last minute, even knowing it would put my Dad's health at risk. My bridal attendant was OK but she was also a waitress so I could not even find her when I had to use the bathroom in my gown and I had to try and do it by myself. For what we spent I would have expected more. She also did not put the A/C on high enough and I had to leave my own party for 20 minutes to try and cool off which the bridal attendant did help with. she also insisted we use one of her over-priced florists. I have given up on getting an apology from her but I would not work with her again. My guests seemed to enjoy themselves which is the only reason I did not give 1 star.

that we had nothing to worry about at our affair and could truly relax and enjoy. The bridal attendant, Mary G, was FANTASTIC. She was my right-hand man all day, kept me collected during my most anxious moments (before walking down the aisle!!), and kept me hydrated and fed. The service throughout the evening was impeccable, the food was incredibly delicious, and I was treated like royalty the entire time.

I even knew about it she had contacted the florist and they brought a new one. The food was fabulous and kosher, every guest raved about the quality and amount. The cocktail hour and Viennese table are the best. The ballroom is beautiful and a good size for 150-200. I can not say one bad thing! Thank you for the perfect wedding, Mary and Deluxe Caterers!!
