Whether you wish to learn Waltz, Foxtrot, Rhumba, Salsa, Country, or Swing, Lara will help you strut your stuff like a pro. Lara has worked as a dance instructor since her teenage years. After earning a BFA in Dance, she went on to study a variety of popular dance styles, including Swing, Tap, Ballet, and Jazz. With decades of experience in the DC Metro area, she is eager to continue her superlative reputation. Deni Danzco Studio offers a selection of services designed to ensure that your first dance truly reflects your romantic connection. She offers fun and informative dance lessons Monday through Saturday, starting at 10 am, with the last lesson at 9:15 pm. Lara recommends you take five to seven classes before your big day so you feel comfortable and confident on the floor together. She is also happy to assist you with your melody selection. Lara began her teaching career at an early age of 14, traveled as a professional adjudicator and choreographer at a young age of 16, and later went on to get her BFA in Dance. Lara has been trained in West Coast Swing, Salsa, Ballroom, Latin, Swing, Ballet, Modern, Hip Hop, Tap and Jazz dance styles. She is one of the most prominent instructors in the DC Metro area with more than 20+ years of teaching Wedding couples. You will not be disappointed.

oth feel extremely comfortable!! The song we chose was not the easiest for a first dance and Lara was able to choreograph (a lot of it on the spot) a routine that fit both of our skill levels. Over 7 lessons were able to absorb and execute our entire routine and knocked it out the park the day of the wedding! We highly recommend!!

expertise as the world champion in West Coast Swing, she went above and beyond to create a completely customized dance routine for our first dance that perfectly suited our style and personalities. From the moment we met Lara, we knew we were in good hands. She listened attentively to our ideas, gave us advice (one of our first dance song options was too slow), and provided modifications when certain moves felt "not right." Her professionalism and passion for dance shone through in every interaction. Her ability to understand our (very limited!) capabilities and translate it into an exquisite choreography was nothing short of amazing. Throughout the entire process, Lara provided us with patient and detailed coaching. Her teaching style was incredibly supportive, making us feel at ease even when we initially struggled with certain moves. She broke down the dance into different sections across 7 of our 10 dance lessons and then our last three lessons were for full rehearsal and cleanup. Her guidance and encouragement helped us gain confidence in our abilities and truly enjoy the journey of learning our first dance. My husband and I are NOT dancers but knew we wanted to do a little something special for our first dance. We feel so fortunate to have found Lara - we told her with our song choice...
and she did the rest. She broke the choreography down into bite size pieces so it never felt too difficult. We practiced for a couple of minutes 3-4 times a week, so it never felt like a big undertaking. Our first dance turned out to be one of the highlights of the night. To anyone thinking about lessons for your wedding (or any other special event), you will not regret it!
