After earning a BFA in Dance, she went on to study a variety of popular dance styles, including Swing, Tap, Ballet, and Jazz. With decades of experience in the DC Metro area, she is eager to continue her superlative reputation. Deni Danzco Studio offers a selection of services designed to ensure that your first dance truly reflects your romantic connection. She offers fun and informative dance lessons Monday through Saturday, starting at 10 am, with the last lesson at 9:15 pm. Lara recommends you take five to seven classes before your big day so you feel comfortable and confident on the floor together. She is also happy to assist you with your melody selection. Lara began her teaching career at an early age of 14, traveled as a professional adjudicator and choreographer at a young age of 16, and later went on to get her BFA in Dance. Lara has been trained in West Coast Swing, Salsa, Ballroom, Latin, Swing, Ballet, Modern, Hip Hop, Tap and Jazz dance styles. She is one of the most prominent instructors in the DC Metro area with more than 20+ years of teaching Wedding couples. You will not be disappointed.

I cannot express enough how grateful we are to have had Lara as our dance coach for our wedding. She truly made our first dance a remarkable and unforgettable experience. With her expertise as the world champion in West Coast Swing, she went above and beyond to create a completely customized dance routine for our first dance that perfectly suited our style and personalities. From the moment we met Lara, we knew we were in good hands. She listened attentively to our ideas, gave us advice (one of our first dance song options was too slow), and provided modifications when certain moves felt "not right." Her professionalism and passion for dance shone through in every interaction. Her ability to understand our (very limited!) capabilities and translate it into an exquisite choreography was nothing short of amazing. Throughout the entire process, Lara provided us with patient and detailed coaching. Her teaching style was incredibly supportive, making us feel at ease even when we initially struggled with certain moves. She broke down the dance into different sections across 7 of our 10 dance lessons and then our last three lessons were for full rehearsal and cleanup. Her guidance and encouragement helped us gain confidence in our abilities and truly enjoy the journey of learning our first dance. On our wedding day, our first dance turned out to be the highlight of the evening. It was a truly magical moment and it wouldn't have been possible without Lara. Not only is Lara an exceptional dance instructor, but she is also a genuinely kind and wonderful person. Her positive energy and enthusiasm made each lesson a joyous experience. During the stress of wedding planning, she made turned our dance lessons from "something we had to do" to something we actively looked forward to. Managed to create a beautiful wedding first dance despite the bride fracturing her toe 3 weeks prior to our wedding. Was very patient and taught us valuable knowledge of dancing together.

We hired Lara to assist us in our wedding first dance this past October. She was patient, accommodating, and generous with her expertise and provided an environment that made us both feel extremely comfortable!! The song we chose was not the easiest for a first dance and Lara was able to choreograph (a lot of it on the spot) a routine that fit both of our skill levels. Over 7 lessons were able to absorb and execute our entire routine and knocked it out the park the day of the wedding! We highly recommend!!

Lara choreographed a beautiful nightclub two-step routine for our first dance which really showed off the flowing chiffon of my dress, and gave my husband a few fun moves as well. She kept the photographer in mind when styling the dance so that there were great moments to capture in freeze frame, and a few fun spins and tricks to delight our guests.

With just 6 lessons in the two weeks before our wedding, Lara helped us surprise our family and friends with a choreographed first dance. We had zero dance experience, but Lara broke everything down and taught us simple steps that looked great in front of our guests and in our pictures. Lara was full of kind words and positive reinforcement. We highly recommend Lara if you're looking for help preparing for the first dance at your wedding!

Lara did a phenomenal job choreographing a beautiful dance to match our ability level in the short turnaround time that we gave her. Kudos to Lara! And she was very helpful in preparing for wedding day jitters associated with the dance.

My husband and I are NOT dancers but knew we wanted to do a little something special for our first dance. We feel so fortunate to have found Lara - we told her with our song choice and she did the rest. She broke the choreography down into bite size pieces so it never felt too difficult. We practiced for a couple of minutes 3-4 times a week, so it never felt like a big undertaking. Our first dance turned out to be one of the highlights of the night. To anyone thinking about lessons for your wedding (or any other special event), you will not regret it!
