Dennis Kwan Weddings

I was absolutely thrilled that Dennis was available to shoot our 60day Seattle wedding on such short notice! Being a DK bride means that no matter how large or small your wedding is, what the weather brings, what day-of drama and chaos is happening ... you will look stunning and all of your special moments will be captured forever. Dennis has been friends with my husband for years and we had seen him in action at a number of our friends weddings. Always professional and always a fun addition to the party! I felt so fortunate to not only be inviting a very professional, respectful and talented photographer into my bridal suite, but a great friend who was sure to make me feel as comfortable and calm as possible. I don't like to give brides a lot of advice about their weddings because every bride is juggling hundreds of opinions from the day they get engaged until they walk down the aisle. HOWEVER, I will chime in that it is sooo important to surround yourself with only your best friends, family, and Dennis Kwan on your big day. You never know what will happen and Dennis' calm, uplifting personality will bring honest smiles to everyone's faces in the most stressful moments. Unfortunately, I got a migraine on the morning of my wedding. For those of you who have experienced migraines you know that they can be completely debilitating and not what any bride wants on her big day. So, while the onesie dance party I planned had to be put on hold, my mom, best girlfriends and Dennis were there to help me get over the hump and down the aisle feeling great! Dennis rolled with the changing schedule and waited until I finally started feeling better to begin capturing the suite. It's amazing that I felt better on time and walked down the aisle, but even more incredible that I have photos with all of my girls and family as if the migraine had never happened!! My biggest shout out to DK has to be for truly joining my bridal party and bringing a onesie costume to wear in the bridal suite! He even threw it back on for the afterparty that night (all per my request)! Dennis is an absolutely clutch player to have on your team. In addition to delivering when it counted most, Dennis also shot our Friday night rehearsal dinner and a morning-of private photo shoot with just my future husband and I. We hadn't taken any engagement photos and wanted to save the firstlook for my trip down the aisle, so DK took us down to the waterfront and Pike Place Market for some amazing early morning shots. That photoshoot was one of the best hours of our day because it felt like just the two of us, the calm before the storm in a way. If you've read this whole review, which I could make pages longer if the site allowed ... check photographer off your list ... you've found the best photographer and friend to be a part of your special day!

Wedding photography has always been special to me. I remember as a child sitting in my grandparents' living room, pouring over their wedding photos and those of my parents, aunts, and uncles. So, when my now husband proposed, photography shot to the top of my list of priorities. I met with a number of photographers, many of whom were talented, but none of whom seemed to understand what we wanted in our photographs. Except of course, for Dennis. Dennis has an eye that is both artistic and poignant. he captured photos I never could have conceived, and he made me feel more beautiful and full of life than I ever would have dreamed possible. My husband and I got married on a mild, rainy day in late November in Rhode Island, at my family's church. I've never been a big fan of the church's design (it's relatively new construction and I'm a sucker for older-style churches) - but Dennis noticed angles and lines that I had never seen. He took some of my favorite and most cherished photos in the church - including a moment between my husband and I, smiling broadly at one another seemingly unobserved as the guests participated in communion. After mass, we went to a hotel/bar in Providence (the Dean -- really great place) and took photos in their lounge area. (Took photos and had cocktails, naturally.) Dennis captured so many special moments between me and my maid of honor, my husband, and my dad. He captured the whispers to one another, the hidden kisses, and everyone's merriment. Dennis left to proceed to the reception as we finished our cocktails and rushed back inside, grabbing me and my husband. He brought us outside and took one of the most beautiful photos I've ever seen - staged next to our Trolley, in the newly rained-on streets of Providence, backlit by the city's lantern street lights with light glistening in the gently falling rain. We had over 250 people at our wedding, and our primary concern was making sure that we got as many candid photos of everyone to capture what we hoped would be a great party. Dennis caught every special moment -- from my husband's grandparents putting us all to shame on the dance floor to special moments between my parents and my inlaws, to my aunt getting down on the dance floor. Overall, Dennis made us all look natural in front of the camera. My husband's biggest concern was "posed" pictures, but even in the few we promised our parents we would take, everyone looks relaxed and casual. My photos are absolutely and utterly stunning, and I am incredibly grateful to Dennis for his hard work and the beautiful result. All of this is more meaningful to me because shortly after our wedding, my dad was diagnosed with a rare leukemia, and he died in June. To say we have had a difficult first year of marriage is an understatement. But, being able to look through our photos and see the joy on my dad's face, and the love between my parents, is the most incredible and indescribable feeling. I am forever grateful to Dennis for his thoughtful approach to his art, and I will always cherish our wedding photos.

My husband and I were married on May 14th, 2016 at Sleepy Hollow Country Club in Scarborough, NY. As soon as my husband and I were engaged a year prior, we knew who our first choice would be for our photographer and fortunately Dennis was available! Dennis is a friend of my husband’s, and now of mine :), and we have been to weddings in which he was the photographer and always admired his stunning work. Dennis is absolutely amazing! He is extremely talented and very professional. At the same time, he is extremely fun to be around and makes all those who he is spending time with/working with feel very comfortable. It is evident that Dennis truly loves and is very passionate about what he does. He takes a lot of care and consideration into his work and into every picture, down the most minute detail. He captures amazing moments and has a tasteful, beautiful, fun and romantic style of photograph. Dennis shot our rehearsal dinner as well as our wedding, both of which were at Sleepy Hollow. He was by our side from before the rehearsal ceremony began, taking the time to scout out the grounds both inside the club house (just in case of inclement weather) and outside. On our wedding day, Dennis was with me before the ladies started getting ready, and he was by our side until the very end of our reception. My husband and I wanted to have a first look, and thus do photographs before the wedding ceremony so that we could enjoy time with our guests during the cocktail hour. Dennis, with his impeccable eye, found some amazing spots for our wedding portraits, as well as for our wedding party group shots. My father, a longtime member of Sleepy, even remarked when seeing where the wedding party was going for photos that he never noticed how gorgeous this particular setting was. Dennis captured the essence of our big day, including our dance party that my husband and I really only cared about! Dennis was on the dancefloor with us and was able to capture some fabulous and fun moments. He blended right in and was really one of the guests! His professionalism showed through in all of his photographs. We are finding it very difficult to pick out our favorite photographs- they are all fantastic! (Not a bad problem to have :) ). Dennis is also very responsive and wants to work with you to hear your dreams and wishes for your special day/weekend! Dennis’ work is stunning and simply the best!

I'm so happy I got to be a DK bride! Dennis came to Nashville for our rehearsal dinner and wedding. He caught the most memorable moments during our speeches at our rehearsal dinner and priceless photos of our special day. He helped my camera shy husband come out of his shell and actually smile! Not the creepy fake one, but his genuine smile. Dennis captured our true happiness on that special day. He always managed to pop up at the right moment, my dad and I practicing our first dance, my maid of honor and her mom getting their makeup done, moments you know happen at every wedding but aren't always captured. He even made the pictures of our food and decor something I want to frame in our home. He is always snapping, and the candids are priceless, of course someone nearly 7 ft tall on the dance floor has the best vantage point! (another plus for him!) We extended our reception past his contract time but he still came out for our sendoff in his pajamas! Dennis has the most wonderful smile its easy to smile back at him and forget you're being photographed. The time I spent with him I really felt like a bridal model and I truly looked like one in the pictures he took. He has such an amazing eye for everything. If he's available, HIRE HIM! Truly Fantastic! Immediately upon meeting Dennis – we knew he was the one! Not only does he have an incredible eye, impeccable style, and a knack for unique photos; most importantly, Dennis is someone you just want to be around! (This was crucial, as I do not have a good poker face, if I’m uncomfortable there is no hiding it)! We were so confidant in Dennis we hired him to do our engagement shoot and entire wedding weekend. For our engagement shoot he went out of his way to shoot us at two separate times/locations – early morning in Bryant Park (where we had a first date) and late afternoon in Brooklyn Heights (where we now live). To top it off it was pouring while we were in Bryant Park; Dennis acted as though there wasn’t a cloud in the sky (and as though he wasn’t completely soaking wet). His professionalism during this day showed through in some incredible photos! For our wedding, Dennis was by our side the entire weekend in Bridgehampton, NY – from showing up early to photograph our rehearsal through to our day after brunch. Our whole bridal party (including my mother) fell in love with him – it was as though he was just a guest with a camera. He truly captured the essence of our big day, from the littlest details to awesome shots of all our guests on the dance floor. We are still having a hard time picking our favorite photographs – we didn’t know we could look this good! ;)

Dennis is truly the ultimate photographer. He is incredibly talented, very professional, with a warm, friendly fun personality! He captured our June wedding at The Breakers in Palm Beach so perfectly! He and his team leveraged all aspects of this gorgeous property easily transitioning from multiple inside and outside locations. Always at the right place and right time to beautifully capture our special moments, but never intrusive which is both unique and quite amazing given his 6ft 5" height! We had Dennis photograph our small family wedding (of 25 people), then had him photograph our party the following weekend with our friends (110 people) in Oct. 2015. Our family wedding was a bit more low key, and outside, during a nor'easter on the beach in Long Island. Dennis was flexible and a trooper in the wind and cold temps during the wedding ceremony and got the most amazing photos (one of which was featured in the Huffington Post Wedding Stories)! Dennis also got the older family members excited and smiling even in the outdoor pics in the 30 mph wind :) Dennis put in just as much care and spontaneity in his photos for the party with our friends (inside, a more livelier crew) as he did in the nor'easter winds. We highly recommend Dennis and his amazing talent. Any bride would be lucky to have him on their special day :)

Dennis Kwan is the best of the best. From start to finish, everything was impeccable. Dennis is an amazing photographer and took the most magnificent photos. We absolutely loved Dennis! Not only did the pictures turn out beautifully, but he was such a fun contributor to our wedding weekend. He made everyone feel at ease and had the entire wedding party laughing and comfortable in front of the camera. We were living in California, but married on the East Coast. Dennis traveled all the way to San Francisco for our engagement photos and then to New England for our wedding, he was incredibly flexible. Dennis photographed my client's wedding that I coordinated in Nassau, Bahamas earlier this year, and he truly captured not only the love and emotion of the wedding day, but also the beauty of the entire setting. I was completely blown away with his ability to visualise each shot, and with the creativity and inspiration displayed in the final product. Dennis is kind and so accommodating to his clients. Hiring Dennis Kwan was the best decision we made in our wedding planning process! From the beginning he was very helpful, responsive, and flexible. We set up a meeting with him in NYC to chat and look at his portfolio, and we hired him the next day. Dennis was more than willing to drive 3hrs to Montauk for our rehearsal dinner and wedding. On our wedding day, Dennis was really on the ball and the pictures turned out amazing. He is so happy and funny, which is exactly the kind of person you want to be around on your wedding day! I had several ideas for photo ops (the Montauk lighthouse, the beach, the dock, on a sailboat, on the deck...) and Dennis was able to do them all efficiently and beautifully. Within 24 hours of the wedding he sent us a few shots from our first look to share on social media right away. Within a week, he had sent over 100 shots from our crazy dance floor (his height definitely enabled him to capture some great dance floor moments that could have otherwise gone unnoticed). The full suite of over 3000 (three thousand, not a typo) were uploaded to a user-friendly gallery within 3 months of the wedding! I should also mention that he is now one of my husbands favorite people to follow on instagram and facebook

Dennis did SUCH an amazing job. He really made everyone feel comfortable and beautiful. He was never in the way, worked really well with our other vendors and honestly, if he's not like part of the family when you first meet him, he will be by the end of the night. Such a high recommend-- if you hire Denny Kwan, your wedding will be Style Me Pretty ready. If you don't hire him, well, sucks to be you. :)

Dennis was a guest at our son and daughter-in-law's wedding in Mexico. The pictures that he took were our favorite and we wished he had been our photographer!! He captured "the feel" of the special moments with his creative eye and careful use of lighting for the perfect photos.... on the beach and at the evening reception. His pictures were wonderful but his fun and engaging personality were a delightful addition throughout this memorable weekend.

We used Dennis Kwan for our destination Iceland wedding. It was freezing cold, windy, snowing, and crazy! Dennis went above and beyond to capture all our special moments, from a walking tour in Reykjavik (tons of cool architectural photo ops), the natural wonders on the Golden Circle tour, the gorgeous waters in the Blue Lagoon, and of course, the ceremony and reception. We have so many unique and treasured photos from the trip. The most special thing about Dennis is that he's able to infuse a very stressful situation - imagine your friends and families meeting for the first time, in an unfamiliar country, for a week! - with humor and positive energy. He breaks the ice for all your family and friends, connects with everyone, and is able to get these beautiful moments (like when I saw my Dad as he arrived) that you will cherish for a lifetime. When I was freaking out, he calmed me down and was so relaxed about everything, it made everyone else relax. He is a consummate professional, and you can tell that he is passionate about what he does. It's so wonderful to have someone at your wedding, that just loves weddings (because you know there are some people there who are just bored out of their minds). With Dennis shooting your wedding, you don't have to worry about how you'll look or if something makes you awkward. Since we were in Iceland, I wore these huge hulking Sorel boots under my dress, and I was worried I'd look all weird and not feminine. But the angles that Dennis got, and the way he directed us, made everything look like a fairytale. I actually got that compliment several times on my photos - it looks like a fairytale! And fairytales don't usually include Sorel boots! The caliber of Dennis's photos are just beyond reproach. It's obvious that his talents are in high demand, from the fact that he's booked practically every weekend, even in the off season! I actually just got lucky he could attend my wedding, since someone else cancelled. Definitely book far in advance, if you are looking to secure him for your wedding.

I want to start by saying I never write reviews. That being said, I was so impressed by Dennis Kwan Photography I had to. I recently had my destination wedding in beautiful Mexico, and we had inquired with Dennis to shoot our wedding. Unfortunately we ended up going in a different direction. However, Dennis came as a +1 with another guest, and took the most fabulous photos. We never could have asked for what he was able to capture! He not only went out of his way as a guest at our wedding, but he literally captured all the moments so perfectly! He even took shots of the rehearsal. As some of you may know, beach settings can be difficult to capture the background while also getting a clear shot of the people in the photo. He was able to capture the lighting perfectly, the background without flaw, and every person looked amazing in the photos! I should have known better than to not use Dennis for our wedding. I am extremely disappointed that we didn't, and hope none of you make the same mistake I did! We cannot thank Dennis enough for going above and beyond, but for taking pictures that will remind us of the best day of our lives so beautifully! He is a truly amazing photographer, and an absolute genius behind the camera! I cannot praise his work enough.

I hired Dennis Kwan for my multi-day wedding in the Mayan Riviera in Mexico. He photographed four different events and captured each one beautifully. Here are the reasons I would recommend him, especially for a destination wedding: 1) His pictures are simply stunning. The way he captures the moment in a photograph is unlike anything I have seen. I have received so many compliments on my photographs both from people who were there in person as well as those who weren't. 2) He will pretty much travel anywhere to document your special day. It was so nice knowing our photographer was the one thing we didn't have to worry about in the stress of finding wedding vendors abroad. 3) He gives you TONS of pictures to choose from. Some photographers limit what they give you to a set number but Dennis gave us endless amounts of photos and all digitally so it was easy for us to organize our photos. 4) He is a re-touching genius. My hair was blowing in the wind like crazy in our ceremony picks but Dennis magically made it look like my hair was perfect! 5) He is super fun to work with and pushes to make sure he captures everything he can. As a bride, I was overwhelmed and didn't take time to think through what I wanted in terms of photos but I didn't have to. Dennis made sure to get the shots he needed whenever it made sense. We are very pleased with our wedding photos and would highly recommend Dennis Kwan Weddings to anyone.

We met Dennis when he was the photographer at a friend's wedding where my husband was a groomsman. Dennis was so outgoing, had such an easy presence in the crowd (not in the way at all, but still in the middle of the action) and his photos were amazing (we ended up using one of the photos he shot at that wedding as our Save the Date!) He was so good, in fact, that my husband and I (entirely independently) each asked him THAT NIGHT if he would photograph our wedding! :) Our wedding was in Tahoe and he did a phenomenal job. He's very easy going but gives a lot of direction, so you don't worry about looking silly. (I get super uncomfortable posing so it was nice to have his explict directions about what to do.) Numerous people have come up to me since the wedding to tell me how great he was - he just makes everyone feel comfortable, and that is reflected in the photos. Our photos turned out beautifully, and we couldn't be happier! If you're thinking about hiring dennis, think no more. Hire him.

We got married over Labor Day weekend at Belle Mer in Newport, RI, and Dennis captured every moment of our wedding day with absolute perfection. He is hands down the best decision we made throughout our wedding planning process!! We displayed our engagement photos (also taken by Dennis) at our wedding, and people are still talking about them. We could not be happier with Dennis' work. He is the best!!

Dennis did a fantastic job as the photographer for my wedding in July 2014! He arrived early and took thousands of shots throughout the day. He was able to get a variety of before shots of the venue, which was so helpful to look back on after. Dennis has the gift of truly capturing the emotions of the day. His skilled photography included various posed and group shots while others were more spontaneous. The mixture has given us numerous photos to choose from. Dennis was also willing to travel up to Boston to shoot our engagement photos. We enjoyed working with him before the wedding and felt comfortable with him when he arrived the day of. Dennis Kwan truly is a one-of-a-kind photographer. Talented, brilliant and extremely professional, he has an incredible eye and ability to capture moments that would otherwise be lost in time or just retained through personal memory. Dennis photographed my wedding weekend this past September in Portovenere, Italy, and the memories that he photographed so effortlessly couldn't have been more pure. Dennis was the photographer for our wedding (in BELIZE!) and he was absolutely amazing! Not only did he get some beautiful shots he made everyone really relaxed which made the pictures even better! We were married in Villefranche sur Mer, a small town in the South of France, this past September and Dennis Kwan was our wedding photographer. His work was in one word exceptional! From our very first meeting months before the wedding he took great time and care to understand our vision for the wedding. He was a pleasure to work with in every aspect. He was able to capture the spirit of our vision and a number of different things we had not thought of all the while being quick, efficient and virtually invisible. There were no extended repeated poses, no awkward moments and no delays, everything was carefully planned and executed while at the same time natural and efficient. Dennis did an awesome job with our engagement / wedding pics ! He is super talented and knows how to make you feel comfortable and take great natural pictures. Dennis came highly recommended from friends who have used him previously and it's easy to see why.

The funny thing about Dennis is that, despite being super tall, he totally blends into the wedding. Most of the time I don't think the people realized that he was taking pictures and, as a result, we have the most incredible moments of our wedding captured. Of course he also got all of the standard important shots of the ceremony and the wedding party, but even those have a little more life to them than most wedding pictures that I've seen. He's funny and friendly and he gets people to relax and laugh and be themselves. I was initially worried that I'd dealt Dennis a difficult hand because I got married on Martha's Vineyard in October and we had a bit of challenge with the weather, but Dennis made it a total non-issue and delivered beautiful shots despite the spitting rain and the yellow hue cast by the ceremony tent. Bottom line: he knows how to get a great shot without torturing people to get it. Oh and then there's the retouching... So, full disclosure, Dennis and I have been friends since college. He's been taking pictures of me for over 10 years so when it came to picking a wedding photographer, there wasn't even a question-- we were hiring Dennis. The man takes great photographs, but he also does such amazing retouching that I didn't realize that he was doing it for years. Seriously. I just thought that I looked fabulous in every picture he took of me-- I had no idea. That's how subtle his work is. And that's what I wanted for my wedding-- a photographer who would take care of anything that could be unattractive or unflattering so that I didn't have to spend my wedding worrying about looking good in the pictures. So, absolutely hire him if he's available on your date. You'll have such a great wedding knowing that your pictures are in his extraordinarily capable hands.

We got married in Charlottesville, Virginia this past weekend, and Dennis was our photographer for our rehearsal dinner and our wedding day (he also surprised us by taking photos of our rehearsal run through as well). Wedding photos are something you don't want to risk not coming out right, and with Dennis, you can have complete peace of mind! Dennis is amazing! He is very professional and makes you feel completely at ease for the entire day. Somehow he takes the most amazing photos, and you don't even know he's there! We couldn't be more pleased with Dennis and how our photos turned out - we recommend him wholeheartedly! He is worth every penny!

My husband and I hired Dennis to photograph both our wedding and engagement session. Dennis did a brilliant job capturing our wedding, from the details of the flowers to the jubilant guests tearing up the dance floor. He gave a good bit of direction, which we really like, and had creative ideas for great shots - for example, he sprinted up a random balcony to get a bird's eye view of our second line! Dennis' warm, fun presence put everybody instantly at ease--as a result, he captured some amazing moments that my wife and I will cherish for years to come. Dennis photographed my wedding in Stowe, VT this past September. He was easy to work with, punctual, and took a fantastic variety of family, friend, and backdrop photos. He seemed to be everywhere all night long and the photos showed it! He sent us our albums in a timely manner and you could tell he really took the time out to adjust the lighting and maximize the richness of each photo. I could not have been more pleased. His only flaw is that he books up fast so make sure to contact him immediately after you set your date. You will not be sorry - thank you Dennis!

We had reached out to Dennis for his photography services, but our budget ended up not being enough, so we asked for any referrals he might be able to provide. Dennis was amazing and gave us multiple second shoot references that he has worked with in the past and fit closer to our budget. He also posted a quick message on a photographers blog to see if anyone else would be interested, in which we got a handful of additional responses. We first committed to Dennis because we were so attracted to his ability to capture spur-of-the-moment, unplanned shots. All of the other wedding photographers we researched just didn’t have that. Before meeting him, we felt like we already knew him by just seeing his work -- his personality truly does shine through his photos. All of his photos are crisp, timeless and beautiful. I feel like the luckiest guy in the world to have finally found Dennis Kwan for our most special day because as you know, finding the right photographer is a really big deal. Dennis is everything you'd dream of in a photographer - talented, professional, trustworthy, kind, intuitive & not satisfied unless you're satisfied. It's obvious from both my wedding and all the others I've seen on his website that Dennis takes a lot of pride in capturing every single moment of the day from start to finish. His portraits are gorgeous, but what I loved most of all was that he was working the entire time - thoughtfully catching countless small moments that we never even really knew happened. It was as if this wasn't a job to him - he really wanted to BE there & recording our day to make sure we remembered how special it was. We feel so luck to have had dennis be a part of our big day We were much for relaxed and wanted to capture special moments throughout the evening without it being contrived planned out pics. Dennis was able to capture every every moment, feeling, and experience though natural lighting. Love that that we can now look back on the pictures and feel emotion running though ours and out guest expressions. Dennis had a great presence and is easy to be around, which makes it much more easier to just be yourself. We are elated with the package he provided.

Dennis is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING at what he does. Every shot he takes is simply stunning and he has an incredible way of capturing all of the little moments that happen naturally. AND, not only is he talented, but he's also really fun to be around, a calming presence (so important on a wedding day), and even jumped in to help when we needed to take care of a few things that popped up during the day. He even got my fiance to enjoy having his picture taken (which is not an easy thing to do!). I truly feel like there are no words to really describe just how important he was to making our day absolutely amazing. He is simply the best, and he made our special day that much more special.

From the moment we took our first engagement photos, we knew working with Dennis was going to be an absolute pleasure. He was always responsive and punctual. In addition, he knew how to set a friendly, fun atmosphere during shooting. Dennis worked tirelessly during our rehearsal dinner, wedding ceremony, and wedding reception. I forgot to mention this was all after hurricane Sandy. Despite NYC being a total mess, Dennis did not miss a beat. He made his part of the wedding weekend super easy so we had one less thing to worry about. Finally, his pictures are absolutely stunning. He is a true talent and you can see his fashion/headshot experience in some of the unique takes he had on the photos. From the very beginning, Dennis was a pleasure to work with - even before we booked him! Not only does he take GORGEOUS photos (every single one of them can be framed or turned into a canvas), but he is incredibly timely with all methods of communication, especially emails. This was crucial during our planning process and actually might have been our determining factor for going with Dennis! We knew we would be able to count on him from the start. Dennis is a phenomenal wedding photographer. Aside from photos that will inspire oohs and ahhs, he's so personable and fun. We chose Dennis early on in the wedding process based on the recommendation of a friend, and we couldn't have been happier with what we got. You can tell that Dennis takes great photos by looking over his website, but what you maybe can't tell is that he makes the entire process as easy as it can be. He was a perfect mix of friendliness and professionalism: on the one hand, he made us (and our guests) feel at ease, but on the other hand he wasn't shy about directing people where to stand and what to do in order to get the right shots. Not to mention, his touchups were great! Subtle but effective - we looked better than we do in real life, but not SO much better that people get suspicious :). Overall, he was our favorite vendor of the wedding; good photographers aren't cheap, but the photos are the only part that lasts past the big day, so in our mind it's worth the cost. We wholeheartedly recommend him!

I cannot say enough positive things about Dennis Kwan! I’ve been a bridesmaid in many weddings and Dennis is hands down the best photographer I’ve ever worked with. Dennis is very easy to work with/get in touch with and took direction very well in terms of things I wanted and did not want. On your wedding day you want to be around someone relaxed, easy going and fun- Dennis is all these things:) He is also very organized and calm which is what you need on your wedding day. I broke my toe a month before my wedding so had to wear a really ugly boot- Dennis was actually the person who made me feel at ease about it a few weeks leading up to the wedding and assured me no-one would even notice. In terms of the final product- I LOVE our photos. He took our rehearsal dinner photos too and really captured the evening perfectly. His work is fantastic and he really does a brilliant job at capturing candid moments/expressions and the ambience of the event.

Dennis photographed my wedding at the Boston Public Library in December, 2012 and did a fabulous job! Everyone who's viewed my photos comments that they're the most beautiful wedding photos they've ever seen. Dennis not only takes beautiful pictures, but he makes the guests and wedding party feel comfortable and festive. He puts everyone at ease and works extremely quickly and efficiently, so you don't have to set aside hours for photos. During the ceremony and reception, Dennis was quiet and subtle, making sure not to detract from the moment. But boy, can he capture a moment! Dennis Kwan. Where do I even begin?! Dennis is by far one of the best photographers out there. He had photographed a couple weddings of friends and I knew from seeing their photos there was no option in who I was going to use for our wedding. Dennis is the best - I cannot say enough about him and his photography skills. He is incredibly talented and we are so glad that we booked him. We were so amazed when we saw our photos.
