My husband and I are from Northern Virginia and had a destination wedding on Oahu. In planning lost distance we didnt have the opportunity to meet photographers in person prior to our wedding day. We found Dennis online and after looking at his portfolio on his site we emailed him. I couldnt believe how helpful and attentive he was! When I asked him for a few good locations to take pics in the Honolulu area he not only sent me several location options, but pictures and the websites so I could actually see the places he was recommending. That was really helpful for us and we got some amazing shots! On our Wedding Day he arrived an almost an hour early and stayed late. He was very professional and not a pushy photographer. I have been in some of my friends weddings where the photographer is really strict and uptight (the ones that command you where you need to be and sometimes physically move you which can change the happy mood of the event). He was happy to let us do what we wanted. We got some of the most amazing and fun loving pictures! It was a great experience and I cant believe how many incredible pictures we have. Everyone at the wedding commented on how nice and professional Dennis was and how impressed they were we were able to find such a great photographer long distance. He sent us a link to a website less than 3 weeks after our wedding with over 1700 awesome photos. Another week or so after that we received the dvd in the mail with all of the images made into a really cool booklet with our images imprinted on the cds and cover. We had 3 weddings to go to 3-4 months before our wedding and we got our pictures before any of them! I would definitely recommend Dennis Layne Photography and if I had the opportunity I would use him again!!!
