Dennis has the ability to make big group photos fun and easy which are important when dealing with a big bridal party of 18 like ours! He has a routine and way of taking photos throughout the day which is important and makes the bride have to worry about one less thing. He is truly a professional and so are his assistant and 2nd shooter, who happened to be Drew for our big day. Dennis was accommodating when it came to answering questions before the wedding. Most importantly, he has this incredible eye for taking some incredible photos. Be willing to tough it out in the weather, whatever it may be because outdoor photos are his thing! So whether it is snowing, raining, or a hundred degrees, be ready! The photos will be worth it!

lf, my husband, our wedding party and family felt so comfortable with him. He was on the rooftop with me while I debated if the weather for the ceremony would hold! When the weather did not hold he made up for the rain with his amazing photography and made sure to get my husband and I up on that rooftop for the most breathtaking pictures! His sense of humor, easy going personality and energy was contagious! All of our family and friends raved about how great our photographer was and how amazing the pictures are! The wedding day went by so quickly but now I can relive all the moments through his photos and the moments he pictured bring tears to my eyes while also making us laugh out loud. We could not have asked for more. Truly amazing work and such an amazing person to work with!!

is so easy to work with. He arrived before I even started getting my hair/makeup done and stayed through the entire night totaling 12 hours! You don't even realize he is there! He got every single shot and they were ALL incredible. He is so artistic and really has such a unique photography style. At one point when we went outside during the reception to take a few night time pictures, he CLIMBED INTO A FOUNTAIN! Yes..climbed down in a fountain so he could get these ridiculous shots of us standing on a bridge above it! We received all 1100+ pictures only 3 weeks after our wedding. Everyone that has seen them raved about the unique quality and style of the photographs. These are not your normal cheesy posed pictures. Seriously go and check out Dennis Pike. You will NOT be disappointed.

ding/reception site. All told, it was a long day. He got tons of great pictures of the simple moments (like the bassist tuning before the service, my brother setting up the cake topper cyclops wire sculpture, the crowd dancing during our ceremony) that captured the essence of our event. He loves his job and it shows in his work. He's so great at knowing where to be at what moment to take the best pictures possible. Dennis was also a bit like a ninja: I barely noticed him there all night because he works so fast and flawlessly without being in your face. He appeared in some of my friends grainy digital camera pictures, like one where he's half on the ground taking an amazing shot of my little brother and cousin dancing. I also chose him because our wedding had challenges that needed someone with his skill and expertise behind a lens to overcome: a dark bar with crappy wall mounted lighting, black ceiling and black and red walls. Plus the ceremony involved a live band playing. If you don't know what you're doing, you'd end up with a lot of grainy shots of light swirls and motion. Anyone who chooses to work with him won't be disappointed.

s you to relax and enjoy each part of your day...and you feel so comfortable in front of his lens! He could charge twice of what he does and it would still be worth it.
