The thing I love most about shooting weddings is the people I get to meet in the process. Every wedding is unique and fun, and I want to capture that for you. My entire philosophy around shooting weddings is with you in mind. There are so so many photographers to choose from, and I don't envy your selection process. So why consider me? Here's why: - It's about you. Nobody else. You and your partner are, hands down, the reason I enjoy shooting weddings. The nuance of a wedding is what makes it so great. The little quirks that made you fall in love with each other, captured. It's not about my ego, or my portfolio, or my schedule. -I'm experienced. Weddings are no joke. There are no do-overs, high-stress moments, and lots of people to interact with. I've shot enough weddings to know what to do, what not to do, and how to help people feel comfortable at the moment. Not to mention the backup gear, oh boy, the backup gear. -My personality. Is this point about how great I am? Not at all. This point is about the fact that personally connecting with your photographer is one of the MOST important aspects of booking your wedding photographer. If you can't be yourself on your wedding day because you're not clicking with your photographer, and they spend all day with you, is that an experience you want to have? Nah. I like to think I'm a generally likable person, but this bullet point is exactly why I want to meet with every client I work with before they consider booking me - IRL or on Zoom - because if you don't enjoy connecting with me as a person, I don't want to shoot your wedding, and you don't want me to. I discovered my love for photography in 2006, and began shooting professionally by 2010. I started out with a focus on portraits and live music and have branched out significantly from there. As of 2017, weddings have become my main focus because I love capturing incredible moments as they happen. Photography has the tremendous power to bring us back to times that have come and gone - and who wouldn't want to be transported back to the moment they said their vows?

nomenal! From the very first shoot, Dennis made us feel completely at ease. Our engagement session took place in freeeeezing weather, but he brought such amazing energy and made the whole experience fun, natural, and full of laughter. You'd never know how cold our hands were from how beautiful and warm the photos turned out! On our wedding day, Dennis went above and beyond. Guests were constantly commenting on how professional, calm, and downright awesome he was. He helped us breeze through our family photos so everyone could get back to cocktail hour quickly, and honestly he should look into a career of herding cats because I fully believe he could ACTUALLY do it! Dennis was with us from the very beginning of the day (prep started at 8am but I didn't get there until 930!) all the way through to the final song of the night. His dedication, attentiveness, and presence were unmatched. He was always exactly where we needed him (or where he was needed!) without us even realizing it. It was so cool to see pictures of the wedding that we weren't able to see or experience ourselves, like our guests mingling and chatting in various areas! Most importantly, Dennis made us feel free and totally ourselves in front of the camera, which is honestly so impressive when you consider that we are total goofballs. His prompts were so easy and natural, it never felt staged or awkward. The photos? Absolutely breathtaking. The quality is next-level!!! Like magazine-feature level!! He truly shows the most perfect editorial style of EVERYTHING!! We truly cannot recommend Dennis enough!!! If you’re looking for a photographer who is professional, incredibly talented, fun, and fully invested in you as a couple AND human being, Dennis is your guy.

He spent the full day with us - from capturing the guys at the barber shop in the morning, to the girls getting ready, all the wedding and group photos we were hoping for, to the ceremony and then through the reception. from start to finish. From our initial consultation to the final delivery of the photos, every step was smooth, professional, and enjoyable. Dennis has a fantastic eye for detail, capturing moments with creativity and artistry. The photos turned out stunning. All portrait images were beautifully composed and well-lit. The candid images captured not only the spirit of the event but all aspects of the property, venue and people. What we appreciated most was how comfortable he made everyone feel, while keeping control of the group and schedule without feeling aggressive or combative. He was patient and friendly. ll the emotions - hire Dennis. His photos will tell the story of your whole wedding day and you’ll want to look at them obsessively because they’re all SO good. Dennis made everyone feel so comfortable, even our groomsmen who would normally shy away from any type of photo. For family and bridal party photos he kept the process timely and organized so we were able to enjoy more time celebrating and less time posing for the camera. Dennis is so great he is even stepped in a puddle completely covering his shoe and not even a soaking wet foot could stop him from getting the most perfect photos. n which is included in his package price, so he came to the rehearsal dinner instead, staying most of the evening catching fun random shots. He was at the hotel the next morning, all ready for the day, taking pictures of everyone getting ready and pictures of the bride and her bridesmaids before heading over the the venue for pictures of the groom and his guys. Dennis stayed until dark (Montana doesn't get dark until late, and the wedding was the day before the summer solstice!). He caught some beautiful pictures and lots of fun pictures during the whole reception. He took full advantage of lighting capturing some absolutely beautiful photos. His journaling style is a lot of fun, and it seemed as if he was everywhere. I loved how he was very conscious of whether he could see someone when shooting the family pictures and making sure to arrange people accordingly. Some photographers are so busy shooting they don't really check to see that you can see every face or that your shirt is untucked or whatever. Dennis works alone, but he seems to be able to manage all of that and he did it all with a smile on his face, even when things got a little crazy, or we weren't ready for him in the morning. I can't thank him enough and I'd highly recommend him to anyone looking for a great photographer.

kward and uncomfortable in front of the camera, Dennis made it way easier on my fiancé and I by just having a conversation with us and making us laugh instead of posing. I never gave him a “shot list” and he captured every shot I could ever want. Many guests and family members made comments to me about how amazing Dennis was. He was so many places during the wedding, I rarely even saw him yet, ended up with so many awesome pictures of every moment. I would recommend him to anyone and everyone. I cannot wait for our next life event to hire Dennis again. I could not be happier!!

it would be the best opportunity to find a local photographer and get our engagement photos done in beautiful Montana. Dennis was really affordable, flexible and just the best. Lucky for us he was also in town (bozeman) photographing a wedding and my fiance was planning to come visit me that weekend, so our schedules worked out perfectly. My fiance and I have never taken professional photos before and we were both nervous but also giddy people because it felt unnatural, but Dennis made us feel so comfortable and allowed us to be the goofy fun couple we are. His turn around time for photos takes about 2-3 weeks. He will also gladly edit out things you want which I really appreciated. Thanks for such a great photography experience Dennis! Wish we could hire you for our wedding but it might be a little too out of our budget! :(

nding job we asked (hopeful) if he was willing to travel to our wedding in Washington. He expressed he and his wife Katie enjoy traveling and the rest is history! Not only did Dennis travel to our Big Day but he made sure he was involved in everything. My hair appointment was almost an hour away from the venue and he took the time to drive there and take some photos. Let’s talk about photos: He took so many! I think Dennis was present at the wedding for maybe 10 hours? And continued to take photos the whole time! It took a total of 5 weeks to receive our pictures and there were so many. Every detail to help us relive the occasion. We felt comfortable and just had an overall blast. We will be using him for all our photography needs.

Looking back at our photos, it feels like we are reliving the day. I heard multiple horror stories from friends of bad photos and I feel so lucky to have so so many amazing photos of our wedding to look back on.
