Denver Athletic Club

The DAC was the perfect location for our wedding! We were looking for a spot that had the majority of our wedding needs (food, drinks, ceremony/reception space, getting ready space, etc) and it hit the mark. We were even able to do an "after party" in their billiards room that our friends and family loved. The staff were extremely knowledgable and helpful with all of our last minute questions leading up to the wedding. On the wedding day, we had some rain and they were able to help us make some changes to keep the ceremony on the roof which we were grateful for. Lastly, all of the staff there for the dinner/reception portion of the night was AMAZING - getting to know our friends and family and checking in to see if we needing anything throughout the night. Our wedding was truly amazing and so much of that is because of our time at the DAC!

We are so glad we had our reception at the Denver Athletic Club! Christy was awesome to work with. She was no nonsense and got things done swiftly prior to our day and on our wedding day. She made sure we were well taken care of starting with when my bridesmaids and I arrived to get ready in the morning until the end of the night. The rooftop was the perfect venue for us and the dinner was delicious. Going through the DAC for food and beverages made our planning process so much easier. The staff at DAC was so kind and helpful to all our guests—we even received compliments about them afterward. I absolutely recommend using the DAC for your wedding day!

SO MUCH FUN! The beautiful ballroom is a great space for a reception. The food was amazing from their in-house kitchen, which saved us a lot of coordination headaches, and the set up is perfect to accommodate dancing and plenty of family and friends. The DAC staff was wonderful and we still get comments from guests about what a good time they had. Thank you DAC!!

I don't have enough good things to say about Denver Athletic Club as a wedding venue. I coordinated a couple's wedding there, and the staff was Excellent. We worked with Jordyn Jensen who was nothing but pro. She was professional, helpful, and attentive to details; thanks to her, things ran smoothly so the night was truly flawless. Beyond her management, the entire team was a pleasure to work with and some of the most helpful venue staff I have come across. The New Years Eve wedding was gorgeous and a total success thanks to the DAC crew. Highly recommend this venue!

The Denver Athletic Club was the perfect venue for our summer wedding. Jordyn was a champion at being organized and responsive and was able to answer any question we had for her throughout the entire planning process. From the day we started working with her we knew our reception was in good hands. So many of our guests commented on the delicious food and we appreciated the professional, personalized service we got from the entire staff. This venue is also great for pictures because of the history and varying backgrounds that can be used. We wouldn’t change a thing about our wedding day and credit DAC for making it a reality!

This venue was fantastic and offers a lot more than any other place we looked at. First off, all of the food (except dessert) is done in house so you don't need to worry about dealing with another vendor (and the food is delish, you'll find this out at your tasting!). Second, The Denver Athletic Club was ours for the whole day of your event--The girls and boys had designated areas to get ready in (the boys got ready in a poker room which made for really cool pictures), cocktail hour was on the roof (cornhole, jenga, and cheese plates included!), the reception was in the grand ballroom (which is beautiful, and you get to customize your linens, also done by The Denver Athletic Club, to match your colors) and we even used the bowling alley for the after party! We have had so many guests tell us that we had such a fun wedding and I think majority of that is due to all that the DAC had to offer!

Beautiful venue, 5 star food, and unbelievable service. I cannot say enough how much we love the DAC. First - it's the perfect location. We are both originally from the east coast, so we had a ton of family and friends traveling. Everyone loved the convenience of the downtown location. Leading up the wedding Jordyn was amazing - so responsive and thoughtful, a real expert in event planning. In the end, the wedding was perfect. We did ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception all on the sun deck. Everyone RAVED about the rooftop venue - super cool, unique, outside. Food was gourmet and service on point. Ended the night in the bowling alley downstairs which was one of my favorite parts of the night. I know I'm biased saying it was the best, but I can't tell you how many people told me this was the best wedding they've ever been to! Thank you Jordyn and DAC!

I want to give the DAC 4 stars, but my experience just wasn’t as good as should have been. The DAC is a great space, however I went through 3 coordinators in the time we were planning our wedding (people kept quitting). My last coordinator/contact wasn’t very good at responding to my inquiries and often forgot or mixed up stuff when we talked. I understand they got put in a tough spot when their last coordinator quit, but that shouldn’t affect my wedding. A lot of things were messed up during the ceremony and reception, which upset me and left me with a lot of extra stuff that should have been set up/put out. On the day of... communication was awful, which left everyone running around trying to set stuff up, figure out where to go, etc. It’s a nice venue, but I guess I just expected more! Food was great!

I don't know were to begin. Our wedding was the best night for my husband and I. I wanted to give a special thanks to wedding coordinator, Nicole. I don't know what I would have done without all of your help. I am forever thankful for making our special day a dream come true with our vision. This venue is so beautiful. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.

Everything about the Denver Athletic Club is amazing!! We had our wedding reception on the rooftop of DAC at the beginning of September and already miss working with them. From the first time we went and visited Beth at DAC we were immediately put at ease. She is friendly, funny, professional and fun. She walked us through every single detail, had us in for multiple meetings when we had questions, got us great deals with other vendors, and responded to every email SO quickly! There were multiple times leading up to our wedding day that my husband and I said to each other, "well we don't have to worry about anything with DAC because we know Beth is there." Not only is Beth and the rest of the staff absolutely amazing, but the space is also incredible. We immediately fell in love with the rooftop and downtown views. It was the perfect combination of having character and history, along with being modern and urban. Our guests are still talking about the food & cheese display, dancing on the rooftop and ending the night down in the bowling alley. DAC was everything we dreamed of for our wedding reception and more! We are SO grateful for Beth and the rest of the DAC staff for all that they did to make our day so special and stress-free!

The DAC is extremely professional and of the highest standard. From day one Nicole helped us create the wedding of our dreams. It’s a great venue in that they do just about everything in house! The food is AMAZING and the service during dinner is even better. They are extremely flexible in helping your image come to life and help relieve so much stress during planning and during the event! I could not more highly recommend.

I cannot say enough good things about the Denver Athletic Club. They were so fantastic to work with before and on our wedding day. Beth does an amazing job making sure everything is perfect for the wedding. They were very up front with what everything was going to cost and it was a beautiful ceremony and reception. Our tasting was so so much fun and Beth and the Chef sat with us letting us know what we could and could not do in our price range. Beth had some great ideas that helped make our day that much better. My husband and I were so so happy with it. We received so many compliments on how beautiful the venue was, how well laid out and perfect the reception turned out on the rooftop, and how good the food was. They make it easy for you because you don't have to deal with any vendors for food, linens, cutlery, bar, etc. We enjoyed every moment of the process and the wedding itself with these guys. They do a fantastic job.

If you are looking for an urban, classic, sophisticated wedding venue right in the heart of Denver, the DAC is the place for you! First of all, the staff at the DAC are incredibly professional and communicative. They go above and beyond to ensure that your wedding is exactly what you are envisioning for your big day. The dynamic spaces that they can provide are what initially drew us to this venue-- from the rooftop with skyline views, to the elegant ballroom, to the billiards room for our groomsmen, and the huge bridal suite to get ready in, all of our wedding day needs were met. The DAC is surrounded by over 20 hotels, so our guests had flexibility depending on their budget. The DAC provides all your food and beverage, as well as linens and furniture. Our guests are still complimenting the quality of the food served at our wedding. We could not have asked for a better experience. They are the reason our wedding was the best day ever!

This facility is absolutely a dream and Beth is amazing.

I cannot say enough great things about this venue. Our coordinator was so amazing and responsive. She helped us every step of the way! Having everything all in one package (caterer, venue, alcohol etc) made everything so much easier and stress-free. The venue even took care of all of the set-up and tear-down! If I had to do it all over again (hopefully that's not the case!) I would pick this venue again in a heartbeat. Amazing amazing staff and an absolutely gorgeous place to get married. The food and drinks were fantastic. Our guests absolutely loved everything about the venue.

My husband and I just hosted our wedding reception at the DAC in late April, and loved every minute of it! Even though it was a cold and snowy day, we were able to enjoy a fun cocktail hour up on the Sundeck surrounded by plenty of heaters, and dinner in the ballroom was delicious, of course. From start to finish the planning process with our coordinator, Beth, was a breeze. She was responsive, easy to work with, and anticipated needs that we hadn't even thought of ourselves. She worked with us to add special touches like fried cheese curd hors d'oeuvres and custom beer selections, and we got so many compliments on those little details. If you are looking for a venue that's practically a one-stop-shop, the DAC is the way to go! We did have to find our own florist, cake baker, and DJ, but Beth coordinated with them for us on the day-of, and we didn't worry about a thing.

Amazing New Year's Eve wedding! We used the club's billiards room, pub and card room for our reception. Our guests raved about it being the best wedding they've ever attended. Nicole was fantastic to plan and work with and was so attentive to me on my big day. Her staff were just as wonderful and our guests took note. The bartenders were so much fun. The servers were on top of their game and everyone seemed so genuinely happy for us and to be working our wedding on New Year's Eve. And the FOOD!!! The chef at Denver Athletic Club is 5 star! We had the most wonderful assortment of what I liked to call 'fancy appetizers'. Our evening was perfect and we wouldn't have changed a thing!

4.5/5 stars...fantastic! We got married on the rooftop of the DAC on a late summer evening. The venue was excellent, the rooftop view was great once the sun set, and the retro-style bowling alley made for the perfect after-party! Beth did a great job of helping coordinate everything with us. She was quick, kind and helpful in responding to EVERY little thing that we needed. It's nice to see someone who loves their job that much. The food was really really good and chef Dominic even made some special twists to the food to meet our personal preferences. Also, the price is reasonable (we did an off-peak season Thursday night wedding). Overall, we were extremely happy with choosing DAC for our wedding venue.

Everything about our wedding planning process and wedding day were perfect!! With the help of Nicole, we had a great wedding where every detail was cared for. From our first tour we were impressed. We decided to use both the rooftop (for cocktail hour) and the grand ballroom (for the reception). The linens and table settings are top notch and the food is absolutely amazing. During our tasting, we were able to make our perfect menu and Chef was extremely accommodating. During all of our planning Nicole was available for questions and she was extremely timely and thorough in her answers. On the day of the wedding, we had plenty of space to get ready and even had breakfast and lunch brought to us while we were doing hair and makeup. Not wanting to make tons of decisions, I asked Nicole to take the lead on setting up the ballroom "extras" such as the memory table, guestbook table, and dessert table. She did a great job and displayed everything in a picture perfect manner. If you want a stress free and gorgeous venue, and want your guests to have a great meal - this is your spot! We are so glad we had our wedding here! What a perfect day!

We had an incredible event at the DAC. Our Catering Manager, Beth, couldn't have been any better. Not only did we have a great experience, people tell us that it was one of the best weddings they had ever been to. The DAC really did an excellent job between their beautiful rooftop, set up, excellent food, and being very accommodating. I would strongly recommend the DAC.

Such a gorgeous venue! I am so happy we chose the DAC and had the pleasure of working with Stephanie. The food is delicious, and there are no up charges for plates, cake cutting, speakers, etc. There are many rooms to chose from. Plus you get 3 free months of membership! I highly recommend!

The Denver Athletic Club is the perfect venue for a wedding. We had our ceremony and reception on their rooftop sun deck in mid Septemeber. Couldn't have asked for a better weather day, not too hot and no rain! We found a true gem in this place. The staff is very professional and was able to accomdate any of our requests. This place had the best prices around.

The food served at my wedding was outstanding. Their catering staff was very professional. The Catering Manager took care of everything! My day could not have been more perfect!

Everything at the venue went absolutely perfectly. I couldn't recommend them enough. The food was absolutely delicious, cooked perfectly even though it was on a buffet. The staff was amazing, I have never been anywhere more accommodating in my life. They met every special request I had or that my guests had for dietary restrictions with the most exquisite execution. There was so much room on the roof top that all of our guests could spread out and enjoy themselves without having to be confined to the dining area if they weren't up for dancing. Even in the middle of July the temperature was cool and comfortable and everyone had such a wonderful time. I especially cannot say enough wonderful things about Stephanie, she treated us with respect, asked all the right questions and helped make sure that not even the smallest detail would go unnoticed. Our day was everything I had hoped for and more and it was all because of her. I felt like she was truly working WITH us, always answering our questions, prompt and concise. I never once had to worry about anything having to do with the venue or food, everything was handled professionally. If I could give it 10 stars, I would.

I was skeptical when my husband suggested the DAC becuase I only had ever seen that they have a great patio - being that it was March for our wedding, that was out but I went to look anyway and WOW. They have these amazing ballrooms, this amazing grand ballroom and such amazing decor that you will be amazed. It was old Denver, classy and sexy - it was perfect and we would have never known if we hadn't gone. The DAC made our wedding perfect, the staff, namely Stephanie are spot on and so helpful. The price is great, the food was delicious and they were able to help us make our wedding everything we could have ever wanted. I cant imagine getting married anywhere else. Definitely take a look at the very least!

Don't let the name fool you! This venue has so much more to offer than others venues. Everyone at the DAC from day one was extremely professional and helpful. Stephanie was timely in her response to any and every question. Chef and his team did an amazing job with the food. The guests raved about every aspect of our wedding and the club. We had several special requests and every one was accommodated. Our wedding was above and beyond our expectations. We would recommend the DAC to any of our friends. We loved the club so much we became full members. Stephanie has done a great job transforming special events at the club over the past year.

This place is amazing. The chef is fabulous and the staff provided great service. This venue is a fabulous place to have your wedding. They really put in extra effort to make sure your day is fabulous. You can also choose whatever you want for your menu, lots of venues do not allow you to do that.

We really liked the DAC and had our wedding and reception on the Sundeck. The food was AMAZING. I was a little stressed that it wouldn't all come together because I didn't always hear back right away, but on the day of our wedding everything went off without a hitch and the staff was great. We would recommend the DAC to others, its a great place downtown for a reasonable price.

Great help from Judie, and beautiful location. We really enjoyed having the ceremony on the sundeck, and then the reception/dinner/dancing in the ballroom. It's a great one stop shop that still gives you elegance with the whole wedding. The entire staff was friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this location. You are required to use them for food and beverage, no outside vendors except cake. We had 100 guests for this price.

My reception in the ballroom was very pretty. The ballroom was stunning. The food was amazing! My rain plan fell short of my expectations. It was not well thought out and I was not given the opportunity to state what I wanted in case of bad weather. I tried several times to hammer out a well thought out rain plan with the event coordinator at the DAC but she blew me off and told me not to worry about it. Of course it rained and my outdoor ceremony was indoors in some ugly room with low ceilings and there was a pillar right down the middle of my aisle! When I expressed my unhappiness with the alternative ceremony site the event coordinator had a meltdown and threatened to leave. Very unprofessional behavior! If you use this vendor I would make sure you get the details of the bad weather plan in writing. The food and ballroom made it worth it.
