I had the pleasure of working with Denver Sound & Color for a recent wedding, and I cannot recommend them highly enough. As a wedding planner, it's crucial for me to collaborate with vendors who are professional, adaptable, and truly care about creating an unforgettable experience for the couple and their guests—and Zack & his team exceeded all expectations. From the very beginning, they were responsive and easy to communicate with, making the planning process smooth and stress-free. On the day of the event, Zack arrived on time, set up seamlessly, and worked efficiently with the rest of the vendor team to ensure everything flowed perfectly. The music was spot-on! He kept the energy up throughout the evening, reading the crowd beautifully and making sure everyone—from the couple's grandparents to their friends—was on the dance floor. The DJ that showed up could not speak English. For example, to announce the new bride and groom to the guests he said something like, "Chair get out stand, for Mr. Mrs, xxx". The wedding coordinator was beside herself trying to help them follow the agenda. They couldn't find the right song for the Father-Daughter dance... so we stood in the middle of the dance floor awkwardly while they searched for it. The only saving grace was the wedding coordinator. After the wedding, the owner of DS&C contacted my daughter and said we added extra services on the day of the wedding and we owed him an extra $200; which we obviously did not pay. He ended up only charging us the original downpayment. I do not recommend them.

Zack was absolutely amazing! From start to finish Zack was informative, organized and professional. The booking process was easy but thorough and Zack was super fun to work with. On the day of, he was attentive without being overbearing and made sure to keep the dance floor moving. Absolutely recommend!

Zach and our DJ Brian were both so great to work with for our wedding! It was a country theme and Brian did an awesome job playing all the types of artists we suggested. Would 10/10 recommend for any occasion!!

Zack was amazing from the moment we connected through email. He is so knowledgeable about DJ services and made me feel so comfortable when choosing to book him. I never had to follow up with him or wait an extended period of time for a response. He is so professional and attentive. We met over Zoom at first and he asked great questions to really get to know us individually and as a couple to ensure he captured it all on the big day. Such a fun and amazing DJ! He was so confident when we first talked to him and that is ultimately why we booked him, and I am so so glad we did! We specifically told him we wanted a good mix of white and spanish music and he totally delivered. Our wedding was a blast and everyone commented on the music and how great it was.

Zack is top shelf. He was polite, professional and also knows how to bring the party. We made some strange requests, songs not normally found in a wedding setlist, he ran with it effortlessly and mixed our weird old punk and hip hop requests in with crowd pleasers, modern hits and classic heaters. I think one of our guests tried to hire him for her wedding on the spot. It might sound simple, but this dude gets it.. He got people of all ages out there groovin on the dance floor, including my parents who are pushin 80. Our goal was to throw a rager.. but I would recommend Zack for any environment, I’m sure he can crush it.

When we started planning our wedding, one thing I knew for sure is that Zack would be our DJ. Not only have I had the pleasure of watching him grow up into the amazing young man he is today, I got to see him in his natural element! He was AMAZING! Zack from Denver Sound and Color was an absolute pleasure to have at our wedding. He was super friendly, and helped us create our vision stress-free. We met with him to review our song choices, playlists, and overall vibe of what we wanted for our wedding music-wise a week or so before the wedding. He went with the flow, and was super helpful and sweet on the day of!! He offered to bring my wife and I drinks as needed, and dealt with frantic last minute song-requests/ announcements with a cool demeanor. I never felt like a burden or bridezilla when asking for his help with anything. Zack was also very patient and communicative when it came to the planning and the payment. Zack worked with us to provide us just what we wanted for our wedding and at an honest price, no sneaky fees or unnecessary additions ( unless you want them, he offers different packages for whatever you want!) Definitely a great pick if you want a DJ with great music taste, easy to get along with, and helps make your big day a lot less stressful.

Zack was the best choice we made when it came to our wedding. He went above and beyond his role as DJ! He killed it with the song selection and mixing of those songs! He was very energetic and honored our requests of what we wanted to hear on our day, all while keeping our guests wanting to stay on the dance floor. I was truly sad when the night was over.
