So happy we went with Dependable DJs! Johnny was phenomenal and helped make our wedding a dream come true. All the music played had everyone dancing. 10/10!!

Steven was the DJ for our wedding reception and he did not miss a beat! My husband and I booked Steven and his assistant very last minute and it was so worth it. Our guests danced the night away and some even requested his business card. From the beginning, Steven was responsive in his communications, showed up on time, and read the room to make sure the music flowed with the vibe of the room. I highly recommend booking Dependable Wedding DJs for your event!

Steven was our wedding DJ and was a great partner, especially at their price point. Steven kept the dance floor active and was timely with song requests. He and his assistant were very organized and had good communication throughout the night. The only snafu was a couple of microphone issues, which were more prevalent outside but that could be attributed to the wind. The photo booth is also awesome and people had a great time with it.

Johnny was amazingly patient and understanding as we had to reschedule our wedding three times due to COVID. We had Steven for our wedding on 10/29 and he and his assistant were AWESOME! They were very communicative throughout the night and did everything we requested. The online portal to pick your songs was easy to use and it was great to have access to it anytime to add or remove music. And they were so affordable! I’m blown away about the quality of service we for for the price. You can’t go wrong with them and I’d use them again in a heartbeat.

Johnny was amazing for our wedding! The online portal allowed us to choose a lot of our own music which we really appreciated. For the reception music that Johnny picked himself, everyone loved it. We've had several guests say it was the best wedding music they ever experienced. Couldn't recommend them more!

Everything DJ related was a breeze! DJ Steven was great, super flexible and had my guests dancing all night. We met and chatted about what we wanted and what songs we had to pick to send to him before the wedding. We also had the photobooth which was so much fun for ALL our guests, young and old. We even realized at the last minute we didn't have uplighting and Steven was on it and said no problem! All our guests had a blast at our wedding and all music genres/requests were accommodated! Would definitely recommend DJ Steven for your wedding, if you want to have one less vendor to worry about!

Johnny was great! He was our DJ but also provided our photobooth, and both were a huge hit. Johnny did a great job or reading our crowd, respecting our wishes, and helped us pull off a few surprises along the way. If you want an easy, worry free DJ, Johnny is your guy!

Johnny was great to work with! Talking with him before the wedding was a big help, and he was able to adapt well and read the crowd. We appreciated the pre-event survey where we could name genres & specific songs that we wanted included or excluded. Half of our guests were American, and half Panamanian, so we thought splitting the music 50/50 between English & Latin music would work, but turns out the Latin music was a bigger hit, so DJ read the crowd and played what was keeping the energy up. Our night was fun and filled with the perfect assortment of tunes. We definitely recommend working with Dependable Wedding DJs!

Johnny was an awesome DJ! He was super flexible with our wants and needs, he has a great sense of humor and a real knack for knowing what the people want to hear, while still incorporating the songs we requested. Steven was an amazing, professional and attentive DJ. He really made my husband and I be the ones to make the decisions at our wedding - and for those just in the planning stages, you know how important that feeling is! The planning was a breeze, but perhaps best of all was the flexibility and responsiveness on the day of our wedding. The bridal party was late to the reception (our fault, lots of fun on the party bus), and Steven cautioned against doing a DJ-coordinated event we planned due to time constraints. The only people who knew this was skipped were me, my husband and Steven. Everything went so seamlessly. I had guests who wanted to perform a surprise song as their wedding gift to use. Steven cleared this with my Maid of Honor before moving forward on it so it could remain a surprise but one my husband and I would be happy with. And at our request, Steven filtered song requests based on the music we said we did and did not want to hear at the wedding. And if your OK with playing whatever your guests want - he'll do that too! I just appreciated having him make decisions based on numerous conversations we had prior to the wedding. In the father of the bride speech, my dad had Steven walk around the reception hall with a blown up picture he made that related to his story. Steven glady walked from table to table with this picture while my dad continued to speak. This was not something my dad arranged before the day of the wedding, which demonstrates Steven's ability to adjust his plans on a moment's notice. And speaking of quick thinking, Steven broke out the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Hotdog Dance song as I ate my late-night snack of hotdogs on the dance floor. It was hilarious. He did this because he listened to all the speeches talk about how much I love hotdogs. He pays attention and makes the night amazing based on YOUR style. And finally, we had a blast hanging out with him after the reception, eating hotdogs and talking about how great the night was. It was an amazing day, and Steven played a major role in making it everything we wanted.

Absolutely one of my best vendors! First they are very affordable! And you might be worried, "you get what you pay for" but this is definitely not the case with Dependable Wedding DJs! They were a great price and provided amazing service both leading up to and on our wedding day. I cannot recommend Johnny enough. He was so fun to work with from our first meeting and made our reception an absolute blast. The dance floor was full all night! Cannot recommend more highly!

We hired Johnny for our wedding! Johnny made us feel really comfortable going into our big day! He stayed in contact and helped us with an exact schedule. I worked with Steven B. For my wedding and I couldn’t be happier! He did such an awesome job and handled all of it own his own. He even helped me in preparing the smaller details and organizing the timeline for the day. I had a million questions leading up to the day and he helped me and reassured every single one of my concerns. I let him know what I envisioned and he knew exactly what to do to make it happen! I am so thankful that I did not have to worry about this aspect and new that he had it under control. The best thing as a bride is having the peace of mind on your day and being able to enjoy it, well Steven did that and more the day off and in planning. Everyone at our wedding RAVED about DJ Johnny. He was so easy to communicate with before the wedding and makes sure to run through every little detail with you. He had a great mix of music throughout that kept everyone on the dance floor the whole night. Use this company and ask for Johnny, he is the BEST!

Our wedding was September 29, 2018 and we hired Steve to be our DJ for our wedding. I was highly disappointed. He was very unorganized. I called him multiple times before our wedding. Heard nothing from him until a day before the wedding. We briefly went over want kind of music we wanted for the wedding and how we wanted to set up our grand entrance. Let me just say that he skipped over serval people in our bridal party after we discussed the order in which they were suppose to come in. He didn’t apologize about messing up. Then during cocktail hour he blasted the music in which our guests couldn’t hear each other at the table. We told him to lower down the music (he did for ONE song) and then music blasted again when another song came on. And he just sat at the table eating instead on making sure to have the music lowered during cocktail hour. I had to remind him that it was time for the bouquet and garter tossing. It’s like I had to tell him to do his job. We also rented a photo booth from dependable Djs as well. The guy in charge with the photo booth was just unprofessional. After he was done, he broke down everything at 1:30am. By 2am, I see him walking around with a drink in his hand. He then took about 5 of our party favors off the table along with a tray of desserts to go. Just unbelievable! I would not recommend dependable djs at all.

My now husband and I booked Dependable Wedding DJ's and our DJ was Johnny. He was our point of contact from start to finish and can I just say that he was the best DJ we could've asked for. His online planning tools were a huge help and we could fix and change anything without hassle. On the day of, he was amazing! Got there early to set up and was already playing music as guests started arriving. Made sure to get everyone's names right and had the dance floor going until the end. A huge plus is that he's bilingual so that helped (I'm Mexican and my now husband is America so we needed someone who could switch music but still keep it flowing.) If I could give more stars I would.

He was great to work with throughout the whole planning process (I loved their online planning tools) and really worked with us to understand our ideas/plans for the wedding reception. We had a few last-minute speeches day-of the wedding and he handled everything flawlessly. The best thing though was that he had everyone dancing the entire night! I've never seen such a fun, active dance floor at a wedding before. Great job!

DJ Johnny was so amazing! We got married on 10.20.17 and we couldn't have picked a better DJ. We had a 1920's Gatsby themed wedding and the music for cocktail hour and dinner service were exactly what we wanted. Before the wedding Johnny was so great in letting us pick everything we wanted. We had an AMAZING experience with Dependable Wedding DJs, and we would absolutely recommend them to anyone who is looking. Steven was our DJ that night and he was so hands on and made sure that everything was running smoothly. He was amazing with our guests and kept them dancing and hyped up. We opted to book our DJ services with a Photobooth, and we are so glad that we did! Our guests loved it and we were able to get copies of each photo strip for our memories! To be completely honest, after our wedding, we have compared ours to those of others and we have yet to see another DJ as fun or as dedicated as Steven! I only wish we could give more than five stars!

Johnny was awesome from our first meeting. We knew right away to go with him. He really listened to what we wanted and what we did not want. At the wedding he only played what we had asked. Everyone was dancing and having a great time. The photo booth was a huge hit.

Hiring a DJ is one of the most important decisions for your wedding, as a good DJ can really make the evening extra special. With that said, I am so, so happy we hired Jacob! Jacob is incredibly organized with great attention to detail. He essentially acted as our wedding coordinator as well as our DJ. He made sure everyone was in the right place for events, such as entrances, cake cutting, bouquet toss and etc. He even brought his teammate with him to ensure everything went smoothly. Additionally, his equipment is awesome! His speakers filled the room evenly with sound, but it never got too loud. His lighting also looked great, as well as the custom gobo light he helped us make for the dance floor. We knew the DJ we would hire would have a tough job, as we had a diverse group of guests with very diverse music tastes at our wedding. We had my husband's family who is Indian and loves Indian music; then we had my family/family friends who loves classic wedding music/oldies (Ted Nugent was at the top of my dad's requests), and then we had our friends who like Top 40. Making this all flow together into one cohesive night was no easy task, but Jacob pulled it off! Our dance floor was full all night, and are guests are still talking about how fun our wedding was!

We were so happy we hired Johnny as our wedding dj! He took care of so many things to help the night go smoothly so we could just enjoy the party! He was great coordinating all of us as we were walking in and making sure he knew where all the important people were seated. (Grandma, parents, godparents, etc.) He was great adapting to a few changes that came up throughout the night, the person giving the blessing had to leave early, an extra parent ended up wanting to give a toast, and our cousins surprised us with a personalized cover song. My husband and I both had mild panics when we realized something unplanned was happening but Johnny took everything in stride which helped us calm down. He even played an encore last song when our guests refused to leave at the end of the night. Overall the song selection was perfect and Johnny has a great energy. Many of our guests came up to us throughout the night saying how much they loved our dj. We had previously told him one of our main concerns was keeping it family friendly as we had many kids at our reception (big families) and he did an awesome job while still keeping the music selection fun. We easily always had 50 plus people on the dance floor all night. I have nothing but compliments for Johnny and would happily recommend him to any future brides and grooms.

Jacob and Johnny are the best! My husband and I were nervous about the music because we had been to weddings where they played songs from the "do not play list" and the dance floor was empty- but Jacob and Johnny exceeded our expectations. The portal to choose songs was super easy to use, they responded very quickly to all our questions and more than happy to jump on a call whenever we needed. The day of our wedding they showed up early, played the music we requested and none of the "do not plays" and had the dance floor packed all night. I did not have to worry about a thing with them, they kept the reception moving along exactly according to plan. They are the best and we HIGHLY recommend them!!

Dependable Wedding DJs is a great company. The DJ we hired originally was unable to make it to our wedding, which we discovered about 3 weeks prior to the wedding date. We called Dependable DJs at that time and they were helpful, friendly and were available for our wedding, even with such short notice. Our DJ was Johnny, and he was excellent. We recommend this company!!

Where to begin! Jacob, the owner of the business and our wedding DJ, was everything I could have asked for in a DJ. Even before the wedding, he was one of the easiest vendors to work with. His website with a ceremony and reception planner were so easy to use and made us feel confident that everything would go as we had planned. And boy did it! The music selections during cocktail hour and dinner were perfect! And when the dance floor opened, it got even better! He knew what songs to play and when to play them. There was always a group/crowd on the dance floor! And, when they weren't on the dance floor, they were taking advantage of the amazing photo booth! Jacob's wife Holly ran the booth and she was awesome! They brought along so many props for our guests to use in the photo booth! Holly also helped my guests put together a book with their photo strips and messages to my husband and I. I will cherish that book forever! Using Dependable Wedding DJs & Photo Booths was one of the best decisions we made!

I was looking forward to having both the DJ services as well as the photo booth. During dinner we had a good mixture of music. My only disappointment was that there wasn't much variation of music during dancing. I wanted several songs hat were on my playlist that I created , however they did not play them.

Our biggest praise about our DJ was that he was observant of the people on the dance floor and played music according to what the energy on the dance floor was. We had requested a mix of music from oldies to top 40, including some song requests. However, he played what the guests on the dance floor seemed to like, which we really appreciated. This kept all of our guests happy and having fun.

I felt like I didn't have to worry about anything during the reception because he was on top of all of it. I loved how the he listened to what kind of music we wanted, but also read his audience. We used Dependable Dj's services for our wedding in August and Jason was awesome. He's really nice and works well with his customers. After each meeting, my husband and I always mentioned that he seemed like the guy everyone gets along with. We had music, photo booth(which everyone loved), and uplights. The music matched the mood of the crowd and everyone had a great time. He basically did his job and did it really well. He's also really good with requests. If you want it, he has it! Anyways, I highly recommend this guy. You wont be disappointed. I promise!

Jacob ran the show for my wedding! He had a great website where you can plan your wedding ceremony and reception in its entirety, and he has a huge song selection to choose from, and he is willing to download whatever else you need. Everything he did was perfect. He kept the whole crowd dancing until the end, and my wedding was the first wedding Ive ever been to where the music had to keep going for two more songs AFTER the last song because everyone was having so much fun! He scoped out my maid of honor and best man to get them prepared for their speeches, and he even set up equipment so that my fatherinlaw could perform a song for us. Love love love him

I recommend Jacob to anyone who is looking for a DJ for their wedding. He was quick to respond to emails and phone calls and is friendly as well. We gave Jacob a list of hundreds of songs that we wanted to be played at our wedding and told him to choose from that list the songs that he wanted to play that would entertain all guests. He did a great job playing songs that everybody liked. We got many compliments after the wedding saying how good the music and DJ was.

Dependable Dj's name serves them very well. Jacob, our DJ, was amazing ever since our first meeting together. They have different options that help give the whole reception an updated feeling (ex., instead of people hitting their glass to make us kiss, Jacob set up a putting green-whenever someone made it, we kissed.. really cut down on the amount and was fun for guests!) The photo booth was amazing, as well! great props that didn't fall apart throughout the night, and big enough for groups of 5 people! I highly recommend Dependable Dj's for your wedding!

Jacob and his wife Holly were an excellent pair for our wedding entertainment. Jacob was the DJ and his wife ran the photo booth (which I highly recommend). The price above ($1,100) was our combined total for both the DJ and the photo booth for 5 hours (with an extra two hour set-up time before hand). That is a very hard price to beat. Jacob and Holly were both very prepared and very professional. Specifically, Jacob has done many weddings, and so he knows how to organize a detailed wedding schedule for your reception. He did not need anything from us on the day of the event and, if there were any problems, we never heard about them. They did not even need to contact us when they showed up to the venue, and they were ready to go at least an hour before the reception even began. Jacob played all of the music that we requested, kept people dancing, and also kept the event on schedule, introducing everyone who was about to speak and introducing every small event that needed to happen. Before the wedding, Jacob was always easy to reach. He responded to phone calls and emails within one day and was open to any question that we had to ask (and we had a lot of small questions). He also gave us the benefit of his experience, telling us about popular options for music and events/games, but, in the end, he made it very clear that he wanted our wedding to be exactly what we wanted it to be, and he was open to whatever decisions we made. Overall, I would definitely recommend dependable DJ's for an affordable, personal, no stress, fun, and high quality experience.

Jacob was the DJ for our wedding this May. We met several times before the wedding to go over what we wanted, and they have a great online planner where you can request all your songs, do-not-plays, etc. Jacob was awesome with the introductions, keeping the reception going, and playing all the right music. We also used their photobooth which people loved. Great value and great service!

I would highly recommend Dependable Wedding DJs. We had both their DJ services and photo booth at our wedding. Jacob and his wife were fantastic to work with. They embraced our nerdy theme and played a perfect mix of all the interesting music we selected. We noticed that Jacob had an intuitively good sense of timing in terms of DJing and MC-ing. We also noticed that he was not one of those obnoxious MC's you want to strangle, which was a plus. During the wedding preps, they were responsive. Jacob was always available via phone or email and even made a special trip to our hotel a few days before the wedding to pick up a flash drive with some of our more obscure music selections so that it could all be incorporated. They were very flexible, to the point that they even gave up their reception seats while I tried to work out two last minute additions to the guest list. They were receptive to our input. They were very reliable and I did not worry about the DJ/photo booth at all during my wedding, which really says something. I found their prices to be very competitive. I can't say enough good things about them!

Brian was our wedding DJ and he was amazing! He kept the party going all night and our dance floor was packed the entire time. He knew just the right songs to play to get everyone on their feet. If it looked like people were starting to trickle away he would mix things up and change the song to get people back up. I would definitely recommend him for future events!! He was super easy to work with and has confidence and experience to do his job well.

My guests loved Jacob! He kept my dance floor full. If it started to empty out he changed the music and everyone came back out to dance. From beginning to end my guests were dancing. Johnny kept the music playing all night long, and it was the appropriate kind of music for every part of the reception itself, never too loud when it wasn't appropriate. He definitely knew how to get everyone on the dance floor, and although we didn't put salsa dancing on the list of music to play, he did play it for some close friends of ours who love to do the salsa. For this, we are grateful. People made requests and Johnny was able to play any and all songs they requested. We Had Jacob as our DJ for our wedding this past weekend and we couldn't have been more happy with his services. For starters, Jacob ALWAYS replies to any messages you send him in lighting speed. My husband (yay me) and I have 7 children between the two of us and Jacob was very flexible about times and places when meeting with us. His prices are very, very reasonable and well worth it. Jacob was full of suggestions when we needed music ideas and kept our guests dancing and enjoying themselves all night. We highly recommend him and his company to anyone needing a DJ for ANY event.

We had Johnny as our DJ for our event, which wasn't a wedding. It was actually a birthday bash that my family threw for my aunt's 50th birthday. Johnny was very courteous, knowledgeable and made the experience very pleasant by working with me on what music we wanted and didn't want played at the event prior to the event. Dependable Wedding DJs should be the only choice for your upcoming wedding! Not only are they reasonably priced, the DJ I worked with, Jacob, was very helpful and accommodating. Throughout the entire process whenever I needed a question answered or clarification on anything, he was always timely with his responses. Always professional, always upbeat, and always willing to go the extra mile! The company is very organized and an easy pick for anyone that wants to have a great time dancing the night away on their special day.

I had been to several wedding expos and had accumulated more information on DJs than I knew what to do with. There were so many that seemed very personable and fun, but then after reviewing their prices, they were way outside our budget. My husband found Dependable Wedding DJs through a bunch of raving reviews. We met with Jacob soon after and thought he was great. He was so friendly and willing to work with whatever we wanted AND without breaking the bank. He was willing to personalize our DJ experience to our exact tastes rather than just using an already made playlist. My husband and I had an outdoor wedding and asked if he could help with the sound for that as well. Since there had never been a wedding at that location before, Jacob wanted to make sure everything would be perfect (to make sure we could get power out that far away from a building and to make sure the sound was good). Weeks before the wedding, he drove two hours to our site just to make sure we wouldn't have any problems. He set up his equipment to do some sound checks and allowed us to walk through the ceremony to time out the processional songs like I wanted. He also came to check out the reception site to make sure to bring enough equipment. I don't believe most DJs would take time out of schedules to go above and beyond like Jacob did. It was so nice to have piece of mind on the day of the wedding that there would be no problems. Dependable wedding DJs also has a great client portal set up on the website that allows you to add songs you want, songs you don't want, confirm all the important songs (first dance, bridal party entrance, bouquet toss, etc). I had every intention of using this to set up an entire playlist of exactly what we wanted for the reception, however, it kept getting pushed down on my to do list and I never had time before the wedding. So if I had anything bad to say about the music selection (which I don't) I would be partly to blame since they really couldn't make it easier to get exactly what you want out of your DJ. Even without having all my "absolutely play" and "do not play" songs selected, Jacob did a great job and I would definitely hire him again.

I used Jacob from dependable wedding Dj's for our wedding and he was amazing. He worked with us every step of the way to make sure that the wedding was exactly what we wanted. Everyone was out of their seats and dancing the entire night. He even did a custom monogram and uplighting for us. I would highly recommend him!

I was probably the most nervous about selecting a DJ for our wedding because a DJ can make or break the whole experience! However, from the moment we met Jacob from Dependable DJs, our worries were at ease. He was patient, kind, and listened exactly to what we wanted. He was willing to go above and beyond to see our wedding venue, download music selections that we wanted, and meet to go over our exact ceremony and reception plan. He was extremely prompt over email as well and answered all of our questions! Our reception was a blast - we preferred a DJ who would play the music we requested and make a few shoutouts to the crowd. Jacob did exactly that and was not overly aggressive with the microphone or crowd! Also, when shopping around, I felt that this price was very reasonable comparatively. If you are looking for a relaxed, laid back, DJ who will listen to your requests, it is without a doubt that I would give my highest recommendation for Jacob and Dependable DJs!

Loved Jacob! He did a great job and did everything we asked, including play a different song for everyone that was introduced. Jacob was amazingly thorough and accomodating to any wish I had. He played everything we wanted. There was enough 'classic wedding' music for my parent's friends/family to enjoy, but still threw in a lot of fresh pop/club music for me and my friends/younger family. He also did our ceremony, which went awesome. He was always in touch with our officiant and the hall staff to make sure everything was on time and running smooth. and not that it really affects the work, but Jacob was a really really nice person and it was a pleasure to work with him. I love his website to request music, or even negotiate payments over time, instead of one lump sum that you feel sad writing the check for. If I had to do it over again, I'd use him again.

They were Great!!! and I can not say enough good things about our DJ, Johnny was ontop of everything from our Introductions to turning the lights down for the dancing to making sure everyone stayed dancing to the last dance. Our DJ was great! We had no idea what songs we wanted so we gave him a general genre of what we wanted…everything he played was great, we couldn’t have picked a better song list. All of our guest had a great time and so did we!
