Johnny was a great choice for our wedding! We didn't book many vendors for our latin wedding. But we always knew that the music sets the tone for everything. He did such a great job going with the flow with our last minute adjustments and always was ready to keep the party going. We love how he worked with us and played everything we requested no matter how unique it was, not only from our planner, but also from our guest making himself feel very welcoming. Everyone had a great time! Thank you Johnny for making our wedding night memorable.

We had the BEST time with Steve as our DJ!!!! We hosted a birthday extravaganza for my Mom, at Oakbrook Drury Lane, in the Crystal Room, and about 135 people attended! From the very beginning, Steve was full of energy...he was so much fun, and he completely brought the party to life! He has the kind of personality that lights up a room...so lively and kind and he was 100% in sync with everything that we were doing! Steve worked with us every step of the way! He was patient, upbeat, and honestly just a joy to have there! He kept the guests engaged, got people dancing, and was clearly loving what he does, and it showed in every move that he made! And here's something I really appreciated... he actually told me, "If anyone gives you trouble, I'll take care of it!" Now THAT'S a DJ who's got your back!!! He was supportive, polite, and just the perfect presence throughout the event! He brought in extra lighting to really make the room sparkle, and he gave me a hands-free microphone which was a lifesaver since I was giving the welcome speech and needed my hands free to hold onto the papers that I was reading from! His assistant was also very sweet, and she was right there to help Steve from the beginning to the end of the evening! We're so grateful to have had Steve as part of my Mom's birthday celebration and it wouldn't have been the same without him! I HIGHLY recommend Steve for your next event! After all, music is EVERYTHING at your party! You need someone who's a pro... someone who can keep the energy going... someone who has a personality and who speaks well...someone who can make your event come alive!!! You need STEVE!!! Steven with Dependable Wedding DJs was phenomenal. He was attentive, energetic, and amazing with the crowd. We had set meetings, and were given paperwork to make sure every section of the ceremony and reception were up to my and my husband's standards. Steven executed what we were looking for perfectly! We couldn't have asked for Steven's part in the wedding to be any better. It was the cherry on top of the perfect day. There were also last minute issues (not dealing with the DJ) that Steven was able to maneuver and make it look like nothing had happened. Johnny was our awesome DJ! Super easy to work with. The website for picking songs and planning out the reception was really easy to use. Everything went off without a hitch, even the very last minute change to our bridal party entrance, which was handled without a problem! Highly recommend.

Steven was awesome! He got lots of people out on the dance floor, and everyone loved the Photobooth! For the Photobooth, it was great to get the physical copies right away, for ourselves and our guests, as well as have the digital copies sent to us later. In terms of leading up to the event, the Dependable Wedding DJs login was relatively comprehensive and easy to use. Steven was very responsive to initial emails, and even more so to texts and calls as it got closer to the wedding. We had some special requests in terms of songs, that (between Steven and the website) were able to get submitted and played without any issue. Highly recommend!

We found this company on The Knot and began our communication here as well. We only booked for the Photo Booth and we loved having that as a part of our wedding day. The communication with Steven was not 100% the best. We often had to remind or follow up to know when things were happening and such. The day of - the Photo Booth attendant arrived late. He did come up to apologize to us, but we lost some of that time and that's just unfortunate. We loved the unlimited strips and our guests thought it was a great addition. We think it was worth the price as long as you aren't stressed about communication and are willing to keep checking in.

So happy we went with Dependable DJs! Johnny was phenomenal and helped make our wedding a dream come true. All the music played had everyone dancing. 10/10!!

Steven was the DJ for our wedding reception and he did not miss a beat! My husband and I booked Steven and his assistant very last minute and it was so worth it. Our guests danced the night away and some even requested his business card. From the beginning, Steven was responsive in his communications, showed up on time, and read the room to make sure the music flowed with the vibe of the room. I highly recommend booking Dependable Wedding DJs for your event!

Steven was On it with everything! Also very accommodating. We were late to the ceremony and he still was able to keep it all organized. Also the way he was excited for us when we told him about our first dance routine. He made everything easier and the music, which was most important to me, was lit af and off the chain. He has the best vibes I witnessed so far at a wedding. 10/10 would recommend.

Steven was our wedding DJ and was a great partner, especially at their price point. Steven kept the dance floor active and was timely with song requests. He and his assistant were very organized and had good communication throughout the night. The only snafu was a couple of microphone issues, which were more prevalent outside but that could be attributed to the wind. The photo booth is also awesome and people had a great time with it.

Johnny was amazingly patient and understanding as we had to reschedule our wedding three times due to COVID. We had Steven for our wedding on 10/29 and he and his assistant were AWESOME! They were very communicative throughout the night and did everything we requested. The online portal to pick your songs was easy to use and it was great to have access to it anytime to add or remove music. And they were so affordable! I’m blown away about the quality of service we for for the price. You can’t go wrong with them and I’d use them again in a heartbeat.

Johnny was amazing for our wedding! The online portal allowed us to choose a lot of our own music which we really appreciated. For the reception music that Johnny picked himself, everyone loved it. We've had several guests say it was the best wedding music they ever experienced. Couldn't recommend them more!

Johnny was our wedding DJ on 7/24. If you want a responsive, organized, personal and extremely kind professional - then hire dependable DJs! All of our guests raved over the music. Johnny kept the party going and was the easiest vendor to work with. We also had a fantastic photo booth attendant, Steve. We are SOOO pleased with our services. Everything DJ related was a breeze! DJ Steven was great, super flexible and had my guests dancing all night. We met and chatted about what we wanted and what songs we had to pick to send to him before the wedding. We also had the photobooth which was so much fun for ALL our guests, young and old. We even realized at the last minute we didn't have uplighting and Steven was on it and said no problem! All our guests had a blast at our wedding and all music genres/requests were accommodated! Would definitely recommend DJ Steven for your wedding, if you want to have one less vendor to worry about!

Johnny was great! He was our DJ but also provided our photobooth, and both were a huge hit. Johnny did a great job or reading our crowd, respecting our wishes, and helped us pull off a few surprises along the way. If you want an easy, worry free DJ, Johnny is your guy!

Johnny was great to work with! Talking with him before the wedding was a big help, and he was able to adapt well and read the crowd. We appreciated the pre-event survey where we could name genres & specific songs that we wanted included or excluded. Half of our guests were American, and half Panamanian, so we thought splitting the music 50/50 between English & Latin music would work, but turns out the Latin music was a bigger hit, so DJ read the crowd and played what was keeping the energy up. Our night was fun and filled with the perfect assortment of tunes. We definitely recommend working with Dependable Wedding DJs!

Johnny was an awesome DJ! He was super flexible with our wants and needs, he has a great sense of humor and a real knack for knowing what the people want to hear, while still incorporating the songs we requested. The dj booth and uplights looked fantastic and the sound was super high quality! Definitely satisfied with our decision to go with this company. Everyone has been talking about how great the dj was. Steven was an amazing, professional and attentive DJ. He really made my husband and I be the ones to make the decisions at our wedding - and for those just in the planning stages, you know how important that feeling is! The planning was a breeze, but perhaps best of all was the flexibility and responsiveness on the day of our wedding. The bridal party was late to the reception (our fault, lots of fun on the party bus), and Steven cautioned against doing a DJ-coordinated event we planned due to time constraints. The only people who knew this was skipped were me, my husband and Steven. Everything went so seamlessly. I had guests who wanted to perform a surprise song as their wedding gift to use. Steven cleared this with my Maid of Honor before moving forward on it so it could remain a surprise but one my husband and I would be happy with. And at our request, Steven filtered song requests based on the music we said we did and did not want to hear at the wedding. And if your OK with playing whatever your guests want - he'll do that too! I just appreciated having him make decisions based on numerous conversations we had prior to the wedding. In the father of the bride speech, my dad had Steven walk around the reception hall with a blown up picture he made that related to his story. Steven glady walked from table to table with this picture while my dad continued to speak. This was not something my dad arranged before the day of the wedding, which demonstrates Steven's ability to adjust his plans on a moment's notice. And speaking of quick thinking, Steven broke out the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Hotdog Dance song as I ate my late-night snack of hotdogs on the dance floor. It was hilarious. He did this because he listened to all the speeches talk about how much I love hotdogs. He pays attention and makes the night amazing based on YOUR style. And finally, we had a blast hanging out with him after the reception, eating hotdogs and talking about how great the night was. It was an amazing day, and Steven played a major role in making it everything we wanted.

Absolutely one of my best vendors! First they are very affordable! And you might be worried, "you get what you pay for" but this is definitely not the case with Dependable Wedding DJs! They were a great price and provided amazing service both leading up to and on our wedding day. I cannot recommend Johnny enough. He was so fun to work with from our first meeting and made our reception an absolute blast. The dance floor was full all night! Cannot recommend more highly!

We hired Johnny for our wedding! Johnny made us feel really comfortable going into our big day! He stayed in contact and helped us with an exact schedule. He was fun and had a great personality throughout the night!! There were some songs not on the website that he was able to get for us. The day of we had a few changes and he was super flexible with them! Our night was absolutely amazing and we got so many compliments about him!

I worked with Steven B. For my wedding and I couldn’t be happier! He did such an awesome job and handled all of it own his own. He even helped me in preparing the smaller details and organizing the timeline for the day. I had a million questions leading up to the day and he helped me and reassured every single one of my concerns. I let him know what I envisioned and he knew exactly what to do to make it happen! I am so thankful that I did not have to worry about this aspect and new that he had it under control. The best thing as a bride is having the peace of mind on your day and being able to enjoy it, well Steven did that and more the day off and in planning. I am thankful he was my first and only choice, they truly are dependable!!!! Would strongly recommend to all! It was a great night and I was literally on the dance floor til 2am, music was everything I wanted! Guests really enjoyed themselves!

Everyone at our wedding RAVED about DJ Johnny. He was so easy to communicate with before the wedding and makes sure to run through every little detail with you. He had a great mix of music throughout that kept everyone on the dance floor the whole night. Use this company and ask for Johnny, he is the BEST!

Our wedding was September 29, 2018 and we hired Steve to be our DJ for our wedding. I was highly disappointed. He was very unorganized. I called him multiple times before our wedding. Heard nothing from him until a day before the wedding. We briefly went over want kind of music we wanted for the wedding and how we wanted to set up our grand entrance. Let me just say that he skipped over serval people in our bridal party after we discussed the order in which they were suppose to come in. He didn’t apologize about messing up. Then during cocktail hour he blasted the music in which our guests couldn’t hear each other at the table. We told him to lower down the music (he did for ONE song) and then music blasted again when another song came on. And he just sat at the table eating instead on making sure to have the music lowered during cocktail hour. I had to remind him that it was time for the bouquet and garter tossing. It’s like I had to tell him to do his job. We also rented a photo booth from dependable Djs as well. The guy in charge with the photo booth was just unprofessional. After he was done, he broke down everything at 1:30am. By 2am, I see him walking around with a drink in his hand. He then took about 5 of our party favors off the table along with a tray of desserts to go. Just unbelievable! I would not recommend dependable djs at all.

My now husband and I booked Dependable Wedding DJ's and our DJ was Johnny. He was our point of contact from start to finish and can I just say that he was the best DJ we could've asked for. His online planning tools were a huge help and we could fix and change anything without hassle. On the day of, he was amazing! Got there early to set up and was already playing music as guests started arriving. Made sure to get everyone's names right and had the dance floor going until the end. A huge plus is that he's bilingual so that helped (I'm Mexican and my now husband is America so we needed someone who could switch music but still keep it flowing.) If I could give more stars I would.

Johnny is awesome! He was great to work with throughout the whole planning process (I loved their online planning tools) and really worked with us to understand our ideas/plans for the wedding reception. We had a few last-minute speeches day-of the wedding and he handled everything flawlessly. The best thing though was that he had everyone dancing the entire night! I've never seen such a fun, active dance floor at a wedding before. Great job!

DJ Johnny was so amazing! We got married on 10.20.17 and we couldn't have picked a better DJ. We had a 1920's Gatsby themed wedding and the music for cocktail hour and dinner service were exactly what we wanted. Before the wedding Johnny was so great in letting us pick everything we wanted. We had an AMAZING experience with Dependable Wedding DJs, and we would absolutely recommend them to anyone who is looking. Steven was our DJ that night and he was so hands on and made sure that everything was running smoothly. He was amazing with our guests and kept them dancing and hyped up. We opted to book our DJ services with a Photobooth, and we are so glad that we did! Our guests loved it and we were able to get copies of each photo strip for our memories! To be completely honest, after our wedding, we have compared ours to those of others and we have yet to see another DJ as fun or as dedicated as Steven! I only wish we could give more than five stars!

Johnny was awesome from our first meeting. We knew right away to go with him. He really listened to what we wanted and what we did not want. At the wedding he only played what we had asked. Everyone was dancing and having a great time. The photo booth was a huge hit.

Hiring a DJ is one of the most important decisions for your wedding, as a good DJ can really make the evening extra special. With that said, I am so, so happy we hired Jacob! Jacob is incredibly organized with great attention to detail. He essentially acted as our wedding coordinator as well as our DJ. He made sure everyone was in the right place for events, such as entrances, cake cutting, bouquet toss and etc. He even brought his teammate with him to ensure everything went smoothly. Additionally, his equipment is awesome! His speakers filled the room evenly with sound, but it never got too loud. His lighting also looked great, as well as the custom gobo light he helped us make for the dance floor. We knew the DJ we would hire would have a tough job, as we had a diverse group of guests with very diverse music tastes at our wedding. We had my husband's family who is Indian and loves Indian music; then we had my family/family friends who loves classic wedding music/oldies (Ted Nugent was at the top of my dad's requests), and then we had our friends who like Top 40. Making this all flow together into one cohesive night was no easy task, but Jacob pulled it off! Our dance floor was full all night, and are guests are still talking about how fun our wedding was!

We were so happy we hired Johnny as our wedding dj! He took care of so many things to help the night go smoothly so we could just enjoy the party! He was great coordinating all of us as we were walking in and making sure he knew where all the important people were seated. (Grandma, parents, godparents, etc.) He was great adapting to a few changes that came up throughout the night, the person giving the blessing had to leave early, an extra parent ended up wanting to give a toast, and our cousins surprised us with a personalized cover song. My husband and I both had mild panics when we realized something unplanned was happening but Johnny took everything in stride which helped us calm down. He even played an encore last song when our guests refused to leave at the end of the night. Overall the song selection was perfect and Johnny has a great energy. Many of our guests came up to us throughout the night saying how much they loved our dj. We had previously told him one of our main concerns was keeping it family friendly as we had many kids at our reception (big families) and he did an awesome job while still keeping the music selection fun. We easily always had 50 plus people on the dance floor all night. I have nothing but compliments for Johnny and would happily recommend him to any future brides and grooms.
