Mad Hatter tea party vibes, with a little bit of a jungle theme added in, but somewhat reeled in enough that it would still please the traditional-leaning parents. I found a bouquet that I liked color wise but it wasn't whimsical enough. I was stunned when I saw the flowers in person -- they were so much prettier than the references we provided! The peony in my bouquet was stunning and the pictures really don't do it justice. We got a lot of compliments on the flowers and one of our wedding guests will now be using Derby for her daughter's wedding. It brought in so much color, which we definitely needed because a sudden rainstorm moved our ceremony to the tent. Most of these photos are from our photographer, Studio Nouveau, and a couple are from our guests.

so much fun to dream about what she was going to put together. I think it was one of my favorite parts of wedding planning. We felt so confident that she heard our vision and would be able to translate it beautifully. I went in thinking we would have to do the bare minimum of flowers, but found out we were able to do even more than I hoped within our budget. The flowers were stunning. Highly recommend!

even think that flowers were that important to the day, but I was so wrong. The flowers helped everything come to life. Everything we ordered was absolutely gorgeous. Marlene and her team went above and beyond. She totally understood and executed my vision. We went on our honeymoon after the wedding, but my mom said the flowers were still thriving at least a week later. I don't think you could find a better vendor. Thank you so much Marlene and team! It was perfect. Could not recommend Derby Farm Flowers enough!!

We are super confused about what happened, because the meeting was really great and we were assured that what we wanted was totally doable and in our reasonable budget. It seems like this isn’t a common occurrence for Derby Farms based on other reviews, but it’s the one we experienced so we figured we’d provide an honest review from our perspective.

ur guests kept complimenting how beautiful the bouquets were. They fit the venue space and atmosphere perfectly! We couldn’t be happier with the results.

nd calls quickly, provided the most detailed flower proposal I have ever seen, and helped a very un-flower-educated bride have the most beautiful wedding flowers. I know nothing about flowers, but I gave them a few inspiration pictures and they made magic happen. My husband and I left for our honeymoon right after our wedding, but my mother gave the leftover centerpieces and arrangements to various neighbors and friends and has been getting calls and texts for weeks about how long the flowers lasted and how gorgeous they are. I can't recommend Derby Farms enough!

en boutonnieres from Derby Farm. Marlene, Lucinda and Sonia were amazing! This shop is right up the street from our house so it was very easy to contact them and set up a consultation. They captured our vision perfectly and were able to keep pretty close to our budget. I loved my bouquet and I wish I could've kept it forever! We had to pick up our flowers the morning before the wedding and Sonia was kind enough to meet us in the early morning before they opened to allow us to make the pick up. They were very well packed and lasted all through the wedding and even a couple days afterwards they still looked beautiful. It is definitely worth the price and service to go through Derby Farm. I will continue to go through them for all my flower needs in the future!

to listen to my vision, though we e-mailed and talked on the phone a few times I never actually met her and the staff. My bouquet just appeared at the venue in a beautiful glass vase right on time on my wedding day. They managed to create exactly what I was going for based on my pinterest board and my descriptions over the phone. I got so many compliments on my flowers, and I'm glad I sprung for a professionally-made bouquet instead of DIY-ing. The price was very reasonable for the quality of flowers and the ease of working with Lucinda and her team.

ur initial ideas might not have been the best. I'm not great at imaging or creating a visual design, so they provided a lot of photos and examples, but also took control so that I didn't have describe in great details what I wanted. Our wedding was outside and we wanted the flowers to feel natural and like they belonged in the setting. Everything was gorgeous and we received tons of compliments on the flowers, especially the bouquet. Our wedding was in Connecticut but my mother lives in Arlington and Derby Farm was willing to transport everything to CT for a small fee.

ers, I wanted them to be great. Derby Farm went beyond this and made them amazing. They understood exactly what I wanted without me being able to articulate it well at all. I was going for a more rustic/whimsical look since the wedding was in my parents backyard and Barbara, Marlene, and Lucinda knew exactly how to achieve that look. They made beautiful bouquets and corsages. They even accommodated my weird request to incorporate a dried morel into the groom's corsage (he ended up getting tons of compliments on it too!). My dad built an arbor from branches around the yard and Lucinda did an incredible job at decorating it with flowers while still maintaining the look of the arbor (and keeping costs low). For the tables, to save money I just wanted a single stem per bottle (saved bottles for a year for this and it was so worth it!). We got so many compliments on the table flowers. They were perfectly whimsical while complimenting the rest of my parents backyard. I loved that they were flowers you don't typically see at weddings, they were very unique. Michael (my now husband) was so opposed to flowers (if it was up to him we would have had no flowers at all) but he LOVED the flowers when he saw them. He said they were extremely tasteful and he has insisted on keeping them around the house even though many have died now (3 weeks later). I cannot recommend Derby Farm flowers highly enough. Communication is great and they met with me several times before the wedding.

were absolutely gorgeous. We ended up ordering two alter pieces, centerpieces, groomsman boutonnieres, and bridal/bridesmaid bouquets. They got the colors just right and the pricing was excellent/reasonable. Definitely worth going to them and getting high quality flowers for less money than other shops charge. Derby was even kind enough to arrange pick up of the centerpieces and flowers and transport them to our hotel where we were hosting a brunch the following day for a very reasonable fee (many florists don't even offer this).
