We got married at Glen Foerd in Philly. My MIL found Vicki and Paula at a farmers market in Lewes Delaware and I'm so happy that she did! They were so sweet and easy to work with from the start. They not only do amazing wedding florals, but they grow all of them as well! Everyone in the wedding party and myself were in love with the floral arrangements when we finally saw them on the day of. After more than a year of planning it was so incredible to see it come to life! The flowers were bursting with color and so vibrant. I wanted a “late summer sunset” palate in the fall and these ladies delivered! They chose the most perfect bud vases for my table scape and also were able to set up my candles and candlesticks. Every vision I had (and there were many that evolved over the year and a half I planned and they were soo patient with me) they understood and brought it to life. On top of everything they are sooo sweet to work with I felt like they were just two more aunts that I had! Last but not least their pricing was very reasonable for such beautiful florals relative to some of the other florists in the philly area that we looked at. Highly recommend, can't say enough good things about these ladies!

I love that Derby Mill Farm is a local, women-owned business, and the fact that their flowers are organically grown right on their picturesque farm in Dover, Delaware, made everything feel that much more special. The floral arrangements at our venue were nothing short of breathtaking, with every corner thoughtfully decorated. My bouquet and the ones for our bridal party—including the men’s boutonnieres—were exquisite. I received so many compliments on how gorgeous the flowers were!
On top of all that, the pricing was incredibly fair, especially considering the high level of service and the quality of the blooms. The entire experience was not only seamless but also truly fun.

Derby Mill Farm Botanicals is a small specialty-cut flower farm located in the heart of Delaware. We are Vicki Cronis-Nohe and Paula Soghomonian, sisters who have returned to the Delmarva region and are now farming the field where we played as children.
We farm sustainably and regeneratively, driven by the intent of improving our soil fertility and strengthening our farm's ecosystem. This enables our plants to live their best lives, as you will see in your bouquets. And as we are the farmers and the florists, your blooms will be freshly sourced directly from our field.
We create in the same way we farm - sustainably and in rhythm with Mother Nature. We are truly inspired by the beauty of nature in all its seasons. Autumn couples, think pumpkins adorned with flowers as a special table centerpiece. In the winter, we have an array of greenery, dried florals, and botanicals to bring your wedding to life.
You'll see our farm's diversity reflected in your florals - perennials, native plants, and a wide range of specialty annuals make each wedding unique and beautiful. We may even tuck a few herbs in your arrangements and other surprise textures.

With a background deeply rooted in visual storytelling, I now use that perspective in the world of florals. Flowers have captured a significant part of my creative soul, especially in the realm of wedding floral design. It’s a true second act for me, and I’m thrilled to explore this new journey.
