We had the absolute pleasure of working with Derek for our wedding, and we couldn’t be happier with our experience. From the very beginning, Derek was incredibly attentive and easy...
to communicate with. He made a clear effort to understand who my husband and I are as people, and he thoughtfully incorporated our personalities into the photos.
He was always on time—actually early!—and on the wedding day itself, he even stayed a little late to make sure everything was captured, despite our original agreement. We really appreciated that, especially with the unexpected time crunches and some issues we had with the church schedule and after-hours constraints. Derek was understanding, respectful of the church’s rules, and flexible when it mattered most. Beyond his professionalism, Derek is simply talented. He had great ideas for shots and angles, and his creativity really shows in the final images. We felt completely comfortable with him behind the camera, and it’s clear he genuinely cares about capturing authentic moments. Overall, we’re so grateful to have had Derek as our photographer. He went above and beyond, and we highly recommend him to any couple looking for a thoughtful, skilled, and dependable professional for their big day.
