But, just as important is his great communication, as he is super prompt with emails and sends an informational packet once you book. For a bride-to-be managing the stress of wedding planning and who does not consider herself a beauty guru, this was so appreciated. Lastly, his calm, kind, yet humorous demeanor on the day of my wedding made it feel like I was surrounded by people who really care and not like there was an awkward professional inserted into the day. He even just had the knack for oh-so-gently deflecting/redirecting a strange comment from a family member. He’s someone who you can tell is just an awesome person that loves his work. I would definitely recommend him and book him again if such an occasion arises.

sh on my Mom, and her make-up was simply beautiful. She looked gorgeous, but not overdone. Neither of us like a lot of make-up, and he did the perfect amount. I was intending to do airbrush for myself, but once I talked to him more about what I wanted, and contoured and went a different way and I was extremely happy with the product. But even more so, my husband loved it, which says a lot. He begged me to make sure that my make-up wasn't too much and still looked like me. Derick provided the perfect amount. He also left me with my little bride bag that had every goody necessary for the day. Excellent service!

ot on- he didn’t use too much, which is a problem I have had when other artists/salons do my makeup. He’s a little expensive but SO SO SO worth the “splurge”!! I had him do my bridesmaids makeup as well, and they all looked amazing! I highly recommend him for makeup (and I kind of want him to do my makeup everyday 😝)!

oing for. For the trial he did two different looks to help me decide what I liked, which was extremely helpful and highlighted his exceptional talent. On the big day he was positive, punctual, and efficient. I cried happy tears all day long (this is not an exaggeration) and my lashes stayed put, my eyes stayed bright, and my makeup held up all day and all night long. He's simply the best.
