Deschutes Brewery offers two distinct rooms for private events; both rooms are located in Bend Oregon. The Mountain Room is located on the 3rd floor at our brewing facility, and has an amazing balcony view of the mountains and can comfortably accommodate 80 people seated 150 mix and mingle. The Tap Room is located on the 2nd floor of our Public House in downtown Bend, and has a fun electric atmosphere as well 15 beers or more on tap! The Tap Room can comfortably accommodate 48 people seated 70 mix and mingle.
We specialize in custom beer-paired dinners, but we can also provide a more traditional plated dinner, heavy appetizer style or a buffet style dinner.

erfect atmosphere and.. the food. The food was so amazingly awesome. I truly enjoyed working with both Candi and Nicole: clear communication, very organized, and were just so pleasant to work with. We had around 50 guests in the Mountain Room for our Reception. There was more than enough room to mill around comfortably, and still have space for dancing and games. Beautiful venue that exceeded all expectations. Thank you Deschutes!

t was. My guests loved going on the brewery tour while the bridal party took photos.
They also have all their own tables, flatware and dishes so we didn't have to pay extra for rentals. It was so affordable but high end feeling. Couldn't have been any better!
We loved this space from the beginning. It held the perfect Bend ambiance that we were looking for and the food and beverage were unsurpassed.

1 week prior to our event and though most was seamless in this transition, there were a few misunderstandings within the guidelines of our contract.
Our only concern of the night was an overcharge in the amount of alcohol and the way that the evening manager handled our concern in front of lingering guests. This was brought up to another manager the next morning and we still didn't feel like there was appropriate handling, though they did refund the portion that was due. We were told "we stand behind our employee" which is fine, however when there is an obvious error and it's being handled with attitude and rudness, which again our guests witnessed, it's time to glance at the big picture not just merely the word of your defensive night manager.
I would recommend this location to any bride wanting an intimate setting, outside of our beverage issue, we had an amazing time and our guests did as well.

ss. Part of the reason we chose the Mountain Room was becuase of the wonderful views of South Sister and Broken Top. We could point out where we got married to guests who couldn't make the hike in for the ceremony. The room was the perfect spot for a casual reception - lots of room and a great balcony. The service was AMAZING as well. They went above and beyond. So wonderful to work with! They also provided great centerpieces and decor. My guests thought I put way more work into the reception then I actually did. Everyone there was so helpful and friendly too. I highly recommend the Deschutes Mountain Room. The room fee ($250) is completely worth it. The centerpieces alone make up for the cost. And there prices were better then McMenamins, plus they provided us with everything we needed, including a projector and screen to show photos. Very fair about prices and what they charged - didn't charge the cake fee since our cake was so small and we supplemented with cupcakes. I can't speak highly enough about this place. And the food was incredible - best smoked salmon I've ever had. We're already planning to have one of our big anniversary's there with family, we loved the food so much!!!
If you're looking for a low-stress option and looking to have it catered, but not spend too much money, then I would definitly recommend the Mountain Room. We had 75 guests and the total cost was under $3000 with buffet and a beer/wine bar. And did I mention that you get to choose 4 Deschutes beers to have on tap?? Awesome! My guests loved the receptiona and so did I!
