e sure there were enough girls on staff so we didn’t have to start before 7 AM. On my wedding day the stylists arrived later then expected. I did start my services at the time scheduled but she then ran an hour and 20 minutes late from finishing me. As you can see from my timeline I was suppose to finish at 11:15. Then as you can see from the photo I attached with a circled time stamp I finished at 12:40. I also felt as though the owner didn’t meet my expectations with the way she handled these concerns that I sent to her with pictures of my makeup and timestamps showing what time my services ended and the quality of my service. I felt no empathy or care as a customer who sent her a lot of money. I felt as though she was fighting all of my claims and not trying to make anything better until I really complained and wouldn’t give up. The experience I paid for was not the experience I felt I received. For $600 I expected to look my best but I feel as though I could’ve done better on my makeup.

Audra and her amazing team went above and beyond to make sure every single person in my bridal party felt incredible. The hair was absolutely incredible—every single girl’s hair was perfect and stayed flawless all night. And the makeup? It stayed ALL NIGHT—absolutely perfect from start to finish! Audra also made my mom feel absolutely stunning. As someone with a nervous mama when it comes to hair and makeup, seeing her thrilled with how it turned out meant the world to me. Guests and boyfriends of bridesmaids kept commenting on how beautiful everyone looked, and even those who usually dislike bridesmaid makeup or hair were raving about it. Kenzie did a fantastic job with constructing the perfect low bun- she was very gentle, but at the same time made my hair secure so I didn’t have to worry about fixing anything throughout the day. She even gave my money pieces a quick trim! On such a crazy day that goes by so fast, they brought such a calming energy which gave me time to just relax, reminding myself to enjoy this big moment in my life. My hair and makeup stayed PERFECTLY for the entire day/night- no touch-ups needed! I cannot thank these two enough for making me feel like the prettiest girl in the world on my wedding day. Emmy does amazing work and Amanda was so sweet, made sure I looked exactly how I wanted, and on the day of my wedding when she could tell I was starting to get nervous she kept reminding me to just breathe! Overall I’m thankful for Amanda and Emmy!

dibly disappointing. From the moment I signed my contract, things took a sharp turn for the worse. Audra was quick to respond and take my deposit when I first inquired about booking hair and makeup for myself and my bridal party. However, after that initial contact, communication completely stopped. Over the next four months, I made multiple attempts to reach Audra via email, phone, text, and even Instagram messages — not only to add another service to my package but also to inform her of my address change for day-of services. Despite my efforts, I received no response whatsoever. At that point, I was left in a state of panic, fearing I had been scammed, especially after already paying nearly $1,000 for services I had not received. To make matters worse, Audra was posting regularly on social media about other brides, which only made me feel more ignored and dismissed. It wasn’t until my mother stepped in and left a voicemail expressing her concerns that Audra finally responded — after almost five months of silence. Within 60 seconds of the voicemail, I received a text back. As another bride mentioned in her review, it was painfully clear that unless you’re paying extra for Audra to personally do your hair and makeup, she does not prioritize her clients. Thankfully, Tanya stepped in to handle both my trial and day-of services, and she was absolutely incredible. Tanya was professional, responsive, kind, and made the entire experience nothing less than amazing for me and my bridesmaids she worked on. She was everything I had hoped for from the beginning and restored my faith in the process. I am very sad to leave my first one star review ever with a company, since I do not want it to hinder the success or bookings of the other amazing ladies who helped with hair and makeup on my wedding day, I just do not believe Audra should ever treat any clients the way I was treated. In conclusion, I am extremely saddened and appalled by the complete lack of professionalism and service from Audra. I strongly advise other brides to think carefully before trusting Desert Bridal with such a crucial part of their wedding day.

I found Desert Bridal Company through Facebook and booked them because they offered BOTH hair and makeup and offered a package that fit the needs of myself and my bridesmaids. When there is 10+ girls getting services done, it can be a little chaotic but they made the best of the situation in our small getting ready space. All of her girls were so sweet and made everyone feeling beautiful! So happy that we chose to move forward with Desert Bridal!

loved her and her work was spectacular. The struggle I had with this company was with the business owner, Audra. She communicated very very quickly when I first inquired and she sent me my contract to sign immediately. After my deposit was paid, the communication was awful. I reached out to her via email regarding booking my trial for about a week straight with no response, and when I finally heard back she told me she would reach out to schedule my trial once it was closer (this was 8 weeks before the allotted trial window started which was fine). But I literally had to reach out again within the 3 months before my wedding to try and book my trial around all of the other vendor appointments I had going on. The day after my trial I emailed Audra photos of wear, what I wanted to change, and questions like - is skin prep included, do I get a touch up kit, etc. and NEVER got a response. I had to text my artist Whitney the week before my wedding to ask if I could buy my own setting spray because I was worried about the wear time on trial day. And Whitney promptly responded and helped me. Aside from that, I got a text ON my wedding day from Audra to make my final payment before the artist left otherwise I was getting charged late fees. Audra made me feel like a literal number and dollar sign. She’s lucky Whitney was so kind otherwise I definitely would’ve backed out of that contract due to all of the red flags and lack of communication. And she didn’t even sign/complete my contract until 11pm the night before my wedding. So honestly you may get a good experience if Audra herself is the artist, but if you’re a low budget bride be prepared to be ignored.
