Josh is a pianist residing in Tucson under the name Desert Pianist, to evoke the aesthetics and boundless beauty of the Southwest desert. Having played for many weddings over a fifteen year period, Desert Pianist has a love and talent for tailoring to a couple's musical needs and desires, and helping to choose the right songs or pieces to give your wedding exactly the right feeling.
While trained as a classical pianist, Josh can span genres from jazz to soul to musicals to pop to easy listening, or virtually any style. From J.S. Bach's "Jesu Joy of Man's Desiring" to the dreaminess of Debussy, or songs by Jason Mraz, Beyonce, or the Beatles, any songs that you love will be played skillfully as beautiful piano versions!
