I am an Indian bride and I worked with Desi Beatz Entertainment for our 3 Indian wedding events hosted in downtown DC. Along with Kabir as our lead DJ for all of our events, Desi Beatz also provided audio, uplighting, emceee and dhol services, and our photobooth.
We decided to work with Desi Beatz early on in our planning process, and from the beginning, Kabir went above and beyond to support us. In addition to his own scope, Kabir also sent us recommendations for other wedding vendors; we ended up hiring another vendor based off his glowing recommendation and that vendor was fabulous as well.
We couldn’t have asked for more from our experience working with Kabir. He patiently answered our questions about audio and lighting needs at our complex venues, attended multiple venue tours with us as we refined the event details, sent us sample music mixes for us to get a better sense of his DJ style, and cut our dance medley music tracks for us to use at our events.
Kabir and his team executed flawlessly at all of our events. They were extremely professional and consistently anticipated the needs of our guests to keep our events lively and our dance floors full. During our reception, we were surprised with a live tabla player and foam glow sticks, courtesy of Desi Beatz. After the weekend, Kabir shared footage and compiled videos that highlighting our events.

Absolutely Incredible Experience with DesiBeatzs Entertainment!
I hired DesiBeatzs Entertainment for my mom's wedding reception and Sangeet, and they completely exceeded our expectations! Within the very first conversation, Kabir's professionalism, energy, and attention to detail stood out. From day one, Kabir was incredibly responsive, organized, and easy to work with. His communication throughout the planning process was clear and consistent — he listened to our vision, offered great suggestions, and made me feel completely at ease. He had the perfect blend of Desi and Western tracks, keeping our diverse crowd on the dance floor all night long till the venue told us to go home.
Kabir read the vibe of the room flawlessly, and the transitions were seamless. From the Sangeet to the reception, every moment felt elevated thanks to their music and emceeing. It was great working with Kabir and his team for our wedding in VA. Kabir was super helpful with all aspects of lighting and floor plan!
Kabir and Ishpreet made for a super lively baraat even in the freezing cold! They kept the dance floor going our entire reception and were helpful with coordination as well!
Our 360 Photo Booth made for amazing wedding videos and our guests absolutely loved all the props they had provided! It was busy the entire time!!

We had an amazing time working with DJ Kabir and his partner, Ishpreet. They did an incredible job at every single one of our wedding events in Cancun, Mexico. Kabir was super easy to work with and was always available to help out in any way he could. Our guests LOVED his music, he kept the dance floor filled with his great choice of music. Ishpreet did a phenomenal job at playing the dhol and at MC'ing to keep our events running smoothly. I would hire Kabir again in a heartbeat for any of our future events. DJ Kabir is absolutely phenomenal. We approached him based on reviews and his Instagram page. And after that it was a seamless process. He was wonderful to work with and personalized the playlist to include some of our favorites. He also attended the venue walkthroughs with us to help us plan the layout and also help us think through elements unrelated to audio. We danced for 3 straight hours and so did our guests across ages 3 to 80. Ankur, the dholi, brought in amazing energy and was a unique element to our reception. The lighting was great. The photo booth was very well done. The props were fun and there was something for everyone. We got the photos very soon after the event, and they are a great addition to the photos from our photographer. Having Kabir and Ankur made all the difference to our celebrations. It's an enthusiastic yes from us!

Kabir was absolutely amazing. From the first song to the last, he kept the energy up and played songs that drew people back to the dance floor.
We felt comfortable with Kabir from the first meeting. He spent time with us understanding our agenda and vision and he helped guide us through the process. Weddings are stressful and he removed music, audio, and lighting from our minds.
Kabir did all the music for the baraat including bringing two dhol players that were awesome (I highly recommend two).
Desi put on an unbelievable show and we highly recommend him for your wedding. No brainer.

We worked closely with them for our Sangeet, Anand Karaj, and Reception. Kabir listened to every one of our thoughts, ideas, and visions, and was able to flawlessly execute on them. In fact, he also had many great suggestions on how to elevate each event to make it more memorable. Kabir is also very approachable and down to earth, and incredibly easy to work with. Kabir is the best DJ in the DMV area! Hiring Kabir and his DesiBeatzs team for our wedding reception event was the best decision that my wife and I made. Kabir was very friendly, understanding, and easy to work with. He treated us and our guests like family. Kabir went above and beyond to give us the most memorable night ever!! He took care of our needs by providing us with all of the services that we had requested including dholis, MC services, uplighting, fog machines, CO2 guns, and even glow sticks! Not only was his music selection amazing, but also he made sure that he brought the hype to our event. One of the most humble, down-to-earth and passionate wedding DJs that we have ever met! Kabir and his team did an exceptional job at our fusion wedding (Caucasian/Indian). We wanted a DJ who could cater to a mixed crowd and hiring Kabir was the best decision we could have made. From the beginning, he was extremely helpful and made sure he dedicated all of his time to us when needed. He provided us with great vendor recommendations and truly lent support to every aspect of our day and was the reason it went so smoothly. Everything from our Sangeet Night to the Ceremony and Reception went smoothly - thanks to Kabir and his team who went above and beyond. Kabir and his team did an absolutely incredible job for our wedding day-- the team went above and beyond what we were expecting and hoping for. From the ceremony all through to the reception, so much care was taken to ensure a smooth and fun experience for everyone. The dhol players were absolutely phenomenal, the music was on point throughout the night and we have heard nothing but good things from all our guests! A special mention for the MC, Baneet, for really showing such care and kindness when I wasn't feeling too well-- I appreciated it so much. Hiring Kabir was easily our best wedding decision. He did everything from coordinating with the priest, ensuring the right music was played at the right time to making sure our ceremony and reception ran on time. I would give him a 11/10. We choose Kabir as the MC and DJ for our wedding in Punta Cana and we couldn't have been happier with our decision. We wanted to ensure we had great parties with good Indian music and lots of dancing! We got that and more!
Kabir DJ’ed our sangeet and reception, and he picked music perfectly for both of these events. He did a great job reading the crowd and playing music that catered to everyone's taste. The dance floor was packed the entire night for both events! Kabir also supported the sound setup for our wedding ceremony, which was more than we hired him for. We would highly recommend Kabir to anyone looking for a DJ for their wedding or any other event. He was professional, personable, and an absolute pleasure to work with.

Kabir veerji did our pre-wedding party on 3/10/23. He was amazing! He provided us with so much guidance and help through the whole process. We cannot have done it without him. We went with Kabir and his team at Desi Beatzs for our wedding reception and are thrilled that we did. Kabir kept everyone dancing all night with an incredible feel for what to play when. Having the dhol to supplement the music really took the experience to the next level. He was able to masterfully weave songs in 4 different languages to maintain an electric dance floor and kept the evening flowing smoothly with emcee duties. Kabir’s communication was top-notch - he’s extremely responsive, was able to provide great advice, and dealt with a number of logistical hurdles that arose from our venue with aplomb. Do not hesitate to roll with Desi Beatzs for your wedding - it’s a no-brainer.

Highly recommend! We can’t praise Kabir and his team enough!! He was super professional, communicative and clear. He was open and available to hear all of our ideas and even was willing to work with my bridesmaids on several performances. Best Destination DJ Ever!
We hired Desibeatzs entertainment for our Destination wedding at Cancun and it was definitely the best decision that we made. Having a DJ who knows his music and can read the crowd was extremely important to us and Kabir was a perfect fit.
From the beginning, he was devoted to being successful and even went above and beyond to providing recommendations to have the perfect sound, lighting and other technical details especially since this was a destination wedding.
Throughout the process he helped us with planning and provided great recommendations on music and even mixes for our performances with smooth transitions.
During our Sangeet and Reception night he really kept the crown active with Great MCing and dropping the right track at the right moment.
This wedding was extremely important to both our families and having Kabir really helped in making the wedding a GREAT success.

DJ Kabir did an outstanding job and made sure everything was transitioned well. He made sure to arrive early and work on all the last minute adjustments to work closely with our planner and event staff. He also spent extensive time working with individuals of our party before the ceremony to ensure the mixes were perfect. Would highly recommend for his ability to provide great service. Dj Kabir went far and beyond! I knew from the beginning that he would be a great addition to my wedding and I wasn't wrong. He had all my guests dancing from beginning to end. He made sure my needs were met. He was very helpful and supportive and open to suggestions. There were last-minute changes during my reception but weren't a problem for him at all! Matt was absolutely wonderful! He was very responsive throughout the entire wedding process. He would respond back immediately to my text messages or within less than an hour. Often times, after I reached out to discuss something, he would be available to chat that very day. He was very inclusive throughout the wedding process. DJ Kabir and his team were the perfect choice for us for our Sangeet, Wedding, and Reception ceremonies in June 2022. They were super flexible and worked amazingly well with the crowd. They had mobile baraath, dholi and the overall vibe of the three events was amazing. The guests loved all the song choices and the dholi as well. DJ Kabir made sure that the changes in the program structure and all the last-minute requests were also catered to. The coordination was seamless and it was really fun and helpful having them as our DJ, sounds and lighting vendor for our wedding ceremonies.

Best DJ Ever!!!
DJ Kabir and his team at DESIBEATZS did an AMAZING job at our wedding.
We hired them for our Sangeet, Mobile Barath and Wedding Reception. Having been at various Punjabi weddings, we wanted to make sure we hired the right DJ, especially since the DJ plays such a HUGE role and I can definitely say that going with Desibeatzs Entertainment was definitely the BEST decision we’ve made for the wedding.
Kabir was extremely involved right from the beginning and had lot of inputs to share to make it a fun and stress free event. He helped us with the music mixes and timelines and also provided recommendations on music for our entrances and the couples 1st dance. Desibeatzs entertainment also provided us with the Digital Photobooth and the 360 VideoBooth with was a hit amongst all of our guests.
The energy and attitude of the entire crew was great for all the three days and we are excited to him them back for another family wedding in June 2023.
I would highly recommend Kabir and his team for your wedding!

We hired Kabir and his team for our Mehndi, Mobile Barath and Wedding Reception and I can honestly say it was the best decision we’ve made! Kabir and his team executed everything flawlessly and made sure all our guests had a great time. The energy and enthusiasm that the team bought with them was so addictive that I can say by the end of our 3 day wedding all of them became part of our family.

If you are looking for someone who knows their music and has great energy, look no further. Desibeatzs Entertainment can deliver all of that and MORE! DJ Matt is extremely talented, and will make sure that every detail is being taken care of. He made sure to go through all of the logistical details with us, timeline, and also helped us find all the perfect songs for our special day!
He helped us build a customized playlist and ensured all the songs were played.
All of our guests danced until the lights turned on. If only we could have added more hours to the venue and danced until the sun rise! Thanks again for a wonderful, high energy evening!

We hired Desibeatzs for our wedding and right from the very beginning of planning they were very helpful in answering all my questions and were very fast in responding to my emails. Throughout the process the communication was super smooth, we had calls multiple times and DJMatt with Desibeatzs also provided us with recommendations on some of the must haves for the wedding. On the day of the wedding as promised he definitely brought with him all his energy and did a GREAT JOB on music selection and had the perfect balance of music for the younger and older crowd. The energy throughout the night was AMAZING. Each of our guests loved everything that he played and wanted to keep going past midnight. Matt did an Amazing job at our wedding and would highly recommend him for your wedding!
