r my mother and my bridal party, and one of those women in particular really ruined the morning of my wedding for me. I think her name was "Cindy", or "Cynthia", but while she was curling my hair, that individual proceeded to tell me that she thought I had "no power in my family", was insinuating that I seemed weak, and that my sister who had gotten her hair done before me seemed to have "all the power". This individual also proceeded to say to my face "I need the bride to do this..." and "the bride should...", when I was standing right in front of her/the only one in a white robe, clearly the one who was the bride, but this individual was talking to me as if she didn't want to acknowledge me as the bride. This really upset me, and didn't make me feel how I wanted to feel the day of my wedding. I was already feeling really nervous and self-conscious the morning of my wedding, so this was an awful way to start my wedding day. This individual needs to learn how to act in a more professional manner, and be more empathetic.
