Design Perfect Catering

We chose Design Perfect because of the vendors we were allowed to use, they were the most reasonably priced and the most willing to accommodate what we wanted. I never saw the buffet tables at the wedding, but I was told they were well put together. As far as the food goes, I thought that the food we had at the tasting was better than the food we ended up with. Not to say that what we ended up with was bad - but this is something to keep in mind if you are choosing them. The week of the wedding it was decided we would add forks and knives to our order. When I got to the table - the silverware was plastic. I am sure this was outlined in the adjusted contract that was sent to me (I still haven't looked) but it wasn't in the emails that we sent back and forth. I made the false assumption that because it was a wedding they would bring in real silverware. I know that this is my own error - but the week of the wedding you have more on your mind than scanning a revised contract to make sure that your caterer meant silverware when they said silverware. I found the plastic forks and knives tacky - but at that point it was certainly too late. Overall they were fine to work with. They sent email responses in a timely manner and the food was good. The value...well, I don't think any caterer is a real value so I will say in comparison this one isn't bad. If you just want to get food because it's a wedding and you're supposed to have food - this is a good caterer for you. If you find the food to be an important part of the wedding and want to impress with it - keep looking.
