Pearl is THE GODDESS of wedding planning! She was my angel from heaven throughout this process. Together we planned a Covid-style micro wedding--- that over time evolved into something that was more detailed and fabulous than I envisioned at the beginning--- with stunning results. Pearl encouraged me to be my authentic self throughout the journey, and also helped me process all of the family difficulties that the wedding brought up for me. I cannot recommend her enough to anyone- no matter what sized wedding you are looking to organize. She is so compassionate and kind; has impeccable attention to detail and professionalism; she is funny as all get-out, stylish, direct and proactive. She will never judge you, always listen to you, and is incredibly responsive, now matter what else she has going on. Her empathy, passion for her art and Boss Lady persona is exactly what I needed. She really saved the day for me, because there were times when I truly needed a lot of help and direction. Pearl is my party/celebration/special event planner FOR LIFE. I would truly not consider working with anyone else- she is that special to me. She is worth absolutely every penny and so much more- Pearl and the entire Designed by Delsie team--they are truly in a league of their own. I think the most valuable element of her expertise was her knowledge and relationships with local vendors. I deferred to her for all vendor recommendations, and her choices were perfect. She also did research and compiled a list of vendors that were almost entirely Black-owned per my request. I felt very strongly about this, and she was able to help without any difficulty. I could never have found such amazing vendors without her help. She negotiated a deal with my venue as well. Jamal & Lashana Wedding Photography and Bella Rose Beauty--both out of Rhode Island--were better than I could have ever imagined. Lauren from FXA Calligraphy & Design was absolutely impeccable. We wanted to make sure we still were married on our original date and Pearl went above and beyond with exploring new ideas, supported us in downsizing from 150 people to a miro wedding of 28. She arrived early. She met with us in person and video calls regularly. She became almost a friend through this process. As someone who is very detailed oriented, I needed someone who I could trust to help make decisions, plan ahead, and make sure all the day-of logistics went as smoothly as possible. I needed someone to ensure my vision was executed exactly. She did that and more. She brought her style, her design expertise, and her experience with cuisine to our discussions and helped us make important and quick decisions in the middle of a global pandemic.
