Hi! I'm Kristin, but my family and friends call me Krissy. I am a teacher who has broke into the business world, creating hand-lettered signage for any occasion and special events!
I am completely self-taught in hand-lettering and design, with no professional schooling in art! It's taken years of practice, researching techniques and materials, and sheer determination to reach a level of ability that matches my creative spirit.
I am looking forward to helping you bring your wedding vision to life!

I found Krissy by scouring the Knot and the internet for affordable but beautiful sign options for our wedding. When I found Krissy's page, I immediately contacted her and knew I wanted her to work on our signs. She was extremely helpful and let us revise our invoice multiple times when we weren't sure what we wanted. The additional option of having her drop off and pick up the signs is also a huge help and stress reliever for us not having to worry about an additional task the day before the wedding. Krissy's designs are stunning and the handwriting on the signs is gorgeous! Our guests LOVED the signs and we got so many compliments on them, from the color, to the writing, to the simple elegance. Krissy made us our Welcome sign and Seating Chart sign and I'm still not over how gorgeous they were. To top it off, the day of the wedding when she dropped off our signs, she came and introduced herself to me and was so excited to meet me and so thankful that we chose her to make the signs for us! That level of hospitality and kindness does not go unnoticed and I am so thankful for everything Krissy did. I HIGHLY recommend using Krissy for your wedding and any other event you need signs for!!

Krissy was incredibly responsive, took the time to truly understand our vision, and even offered thoughtful, creative suggestions to bring it to life. She was an absolute pleasure to work with—professional, flexible, and accommodating, even making last-minute updates to our signage just days before the wedding. Krissy did the Welcome sign for my wedding and it came out beautifully and she got it done very fast. She provided the easel that we needed as well so we didn’t have to worry about getting one.

Krissy did an amazing job of creating our wedding signage! Her pieces pulled the whole wedding look together! She did them exactly how I wanted and was so easy to work with! She made custom footballs for our ring bearers! They turned out amazing and were a huge hit with the boys! Highly recommend her for any events!

We hired Krissy for our wedding to create a personalized calligraphy piece on a mirror we bought from Amazon. She wrote our names, wedding date, and the word ‘Shalom’ across the top, and now we have this beautiful mirror in our home as a forever keepsake. Krissy was incredibly accommodating and one of the nicest people we could’ve worked with. She made what could’ve been a stressful task so much easier with her calm and professional demeanor. Her talent and attention to detail really brought our vision to life. Highly recommend her for any calligraphy needs!

The designs we requested for our wedding were simple and came out exactly as we wanted. We’re sure that Kristin would have been able to create beautifully ornate signage, but simple elegance is the look we were going for. With how perfectly things turned out, it amazes me that everything is hand-lettered. If you’re looking for custom signage, I’d recommend Designed by Krissy.

We absolutely loved working with Krissy and what she did for our wedding exceeded our expectations. Everyone not only loved our seating chart display (which was amazing) she also made individually signs for each table which was the personal touch we were looking for. Krissy made 4 beautiful signs for my wedding which I was very pleased with. She was very patient and understanding with my request since I was unsure of what I wanted.
