Another transparent review here... I am super bummed to be giving such a low rating. I felt great about our communications and the understanding of my floral visions up until the last two months and day-of, when I saw my bouquets. Around two months out from my wedding date, I was wanting reassurance that changes/updates I mentioned prior were made and confirmed. I sent multiple emails and I did not hear back from this vendor until 6 days before my wedding with the updated proposal and changes. Almost 2 months of waiting for acknowledgment (during the last 2 months until the wedding). I was very disappointed in the lack of communication and timeliness, but life happens…the proposal looked great and I felt good about what was to come on my wedding day. I would have left a 4-5 star review at this point. On the day of my wedding, a couple wonderful women walked in to show me the bouquets as we were in hair and makeup. I was speechless for a while until I told them that I thought they were for a different wedding and that it was a mix-up. It wasn't...they were my flowers. Mostly live, different shades of pink, dark accents and greenery. I felt absolutely horrible because I knew these woman worked so hard getting these bouquets together. As beautiful as they were, I completely hated them and I had to tell them that. They weren't at all what I asked for, what was my vision for the last 1+ year communicating with this vendor, or even what was in my proposal. I was so confused as to how this even happened. The wedding coordinator, Brittney, pulled up my floral proposal to read it over and was also surprised when she read “dislikes - greenery" and to see my inspo pics of neutral, mostly dried, flowers. The kind women working for this vendor and my wedding coordinators assured me that they would fix all the bouquets in time for pictures, and they did! I am very grateful and appreciative of these women! I have to say, I was really hoping to hear from Amber after my wedding. I truly expected some sort of apology or just acknowledgement. I didn’t want to write the review too early in case I had heard from her, so I told myself I would wait until after the New Year. It’s been almost 4 months since my wedding. If I would have been contacted by Amber, I would have left a better review. Her lack of acknowledgment really made me feel like she didn't care. Overall, I’m really disappointed and sad this happened and to leave this review.

Unresponsive from multiple outreach methods (email, wedding vendor sites such as The Knot & WeddingWire, Instagram DM & commenting)

Amber Lanier is extremely talented. She created the most beautiful floral arrangements, really works of art, for our wedding at The River Room in downtown Wilmington. I had a vision for bringing in a vintage mantel and creating an installation above it as the backdrop of our ceremony and Amber brought it to life better than I even imagined was possible. I wanted pops of untraditional colors in our palette and she did it flawlessly, blending our sunset hues (from an original wedding planned for San Diego that got cancelled in the beginning of Covid!) with the fall city warehouse vibes of The River Room. It all came together perfectly. Many of our guests commented that they were the most beautiful flowers they had ever seen at a wedding ever which just makes my heart so happy. THANK YOU AMBER!!! Highly recommend.

I got married at the end of 2021 and absolutely loved working with Amber! When I started working with Amber, I had a few inspiration photos, but really knew nothing about the flowers I wanted. Amber spent time with me talking through options and ways to make my vision come to life. When I needed to make some last minute changes, Amber got back on the phone with me and helped me think through ways to repurpose some of the greenery throughout the reception. The end result was GORGEOUS and even better than I could have imagined. Amber took my inspiration photos and colors and made my vision come to life. I received so many compliments on the floral design and my bouquet from family and friends. I loved working with Amber and would recommend her to other brides!
