the scene, I was unhappy with the venue we were working with - they had a lot of turnover (3 coordinators quit!!!) and awful communication. I felt so stressed out and did not have the confidence of things going smoothly with the venue alone. It was such a relief having Daisy and her team step in. I really felt like they advocated for me, the vision for our day, and our needs. They went above and beyond! We mainly worked with Lex and Caitlin - the transition was seamless. They were super responsive, we had multiple touch base calls, and they were super proactive with our vendors to make sure things were moving along behind the scenes. If I had a random question or wanted advice, they were super receptive and helpful. In the months leading up to our wedding they shared a questionnaire of all the things we should be thinking about / accounting for, which was really helpful for me as I think of myself as more of a "type b" bride and definitely needed that guidance!! In addition, when booking with them, you have access to AislePlanner, a service they use to keep track of budget, payment reminders, meeting notes and vision boarding etc. It was really great having everything in a centralized space and made me feel really in sync with them and that no detail was being overlooked. On the day of, Lex and Caitlin were there to help me into my dress (they also have an emergency bag of everything possible thing you could ever think of/need) and were by our side throughout the day / night. Our wedding day was truly so great and I attribute so much of that to their thoughtfulness, attention to detail, and support. Definitely definitely definitely recommend!!

Daisy even came to the rescue when I left my getting ready pajamas at my house the morning of, she didn’t hesitate to pick it up on her way to the venue. Daisy and her team come into the planning process about 3 months out from your wedding date and help to further finalize the timeline for the day of. They helped coordinate all deliveries to and from the wedding. They also helped with the rehearsal. The day of the wedding Daisy and Lex were so helpful. They made sure we were on schedule, remembered all of the little details, and helped coordinate the ceremony and reception space and design. They even ran back to our room when my husband forgot his jacket. My family was also so thankful that Daisy and Lex. They made sure to get them before the different events of the night such as the cake cutting, sparkler send off, and special pictures to make sure they didn’t miss those moments. We truly could not have done this wedding without their help! I would recommend them to anyone planning a wedding or event.

While it is not every day that I throw a multi-part and multi-location event downtown Philadelphia for 150 people, Designs by Daisy and her team are extremely qualified to make it happen. I hired Daisy for her full planning package, and could not be more thankful that I did. I was so grateful to have a planner to consult for advice and professional knowledge, and to have someone to help keep me on track for planning timelines, payment dates, hotel blocks, when to send out invitations, and so much more. That doesn’t even begin to cover what the DBD team brings to the table for the actual wedding day. An extremely detailed timeline, setup of décor, coordination of all vendors (both leading up to and during the event), keeping all wedding party and family members on track throughout the day, and acting as a point of contact for any and everything that may come up throughout the day. A huge amount of stress was taken off both my husband and I, as well as our family and guests, which was more valuable than I can describe- we truly had the best wedding and most memorable day we could have hoped for! It was really important to find a planner who would allow me to be super involved up until final confirmations. At that point she took over confirming everything with my vendors from inclusions in the contracts to timing and arrivals! And if there were any discrepancies or confusions with the vendors Daisy was on top of it in all of my pre-wedding planning emails and calls. Then on my wedding day Daisy and her assistant Lex were a calming force! I knew if I needed anything they would be right there to help me. They made sure all of my decorations were in the right area and they even ran around helping me with my photos (holding my heavy flowers and veil/ train). And they helped the photographer manage family photos with a group of over 50 people which logistically was a big reason I hired a day of coordinator -- and it went so smoothly. Of course, taking photos on the streets of Philadelphia all morning left some dirt on the bottom of my dress but Daisy had an entire emergency kit to make my dress all white again for the ceremony! The major highlights of working with Designs By Daisy are the wedding portal they use and their organization, the incredibly detailed timeline, and having their positive, professional, and FUN energy around on the big day! Daisy is soooo sweet and easy to work with. And I loved that as the bride I still felt in control of my own day which was a hesitation I originally had with hiring someone and feeling like someone else was planning my wedding day for me! They truly were my teammates and I was so glad to have them to get me organized and keep me calm so I could enjoy the best day of my life!

Daisy and her assistant Lex completely executed the timeline with our vendors. For the design package, Daisy handled helping us come up with our look & feel and merging it with our venue, and working with our florist to get what we needed from her. Our event ended up beautiful as we were able to use lots of her rental inventory and supplement florals to make our wedding unique to what we were looking for at an affordable cost. Daisy also handled all of the set up of everything day of in conjunction with the florist, which did not at all take away from her and her assistant's ability to help actually coordinate the wedding day. We are so thankful we hired Daisy and Lex for our big day.
