Darenda is an artist. I was so lucky to have the opportunity to work with her last November 2021 for my beach wedding in Key Largo. I had already received quotes from several other florists before I found darenda. I am so happy I did! She is kind, patient, attentive, reasonably priced, and has an amazing eye for color and beauty when it comes to florals. We wanted to remain within our budget and Darenda was the only florist who took that information and absolutely ran with it- creating a beautiful scene of elegance on the beach and still coming in a bit under our budget! She listens and she truly cares. Of all of our vendors for the wedding - Darenda was our favorite. On the day of the wedding she walked in with the most beautiful bouquet I could have imagined and a smile bigger than any I’d ever seen. She gets so excited for her couples and you feel that in every interaction she has with you (always positive and professional) and in her work (absolutely breath taking). I would book Darenda 100 times over, and I’m so grateful we found her.

Since this was a destination wedding, I didn't have the opportunity to review or sample anything in advance. All Darenda had was my inspo images. The final product was an absolute Pinterest Dream. The flowers, the decor, all of it was absolutely incredible - and at a very fair price. Hire Darenda. She is AMAZING. Also - LOVED THE LITTLE PINEAPPLES !!!

Best decision I made as a florist was having Darenda and her team handle. I could not be any happier with out everything came out and looked. After our first call, she knew everything we wanted for our wedding and came up with a proposal so quickly. SO efficient, fast at communicating, and beyond sweet. Our wedding was dreamy, rustic, elegant and magical all at the same time. Thank you so much for everything! Our guests are still talking about the florals and eucalyptus drop over our royal table. I am still receiving rave reviews and so many compliments on how beautiful all our flowers and colors were for our wedding. Pretty much any ideas/inspiration photos you have, she can recreate. We even included multiple floating candle stands for each table for more romance. The centerpieces were a huge hit - very classy and elegant. Hit it Out of the Park When we booked our venue at the Marriott Key Largo, I knew I wanted Darenda to be my florist. After talking about our venue, vision, and colors with her, she gave us an idea for what our arrangements would look like for the ceremony and reception. I was hesitant to move forward because we weren't able to see a mock-up, but I had full faith in her after viewing her other weddings on websites and social media. Let me tell you she hit it out of the park and her designs exceeded all of my expectations! The floral for our wedding was stunning and even the other vendors and our venue commented on how stunning of a job she had done. I would book her again without a doubt and cannot recommend her more!

Darenda is absolutely gifted and an artist--my wedding flowers were more perfect than I could have possibly imagined! She is great to work with and a visionary. Not only did our centerpieces, bouquets, boutonnières, etc. look wonderful but she made hair pieces for my bridesmaids that made the look. She turned pinterest boards and ideas into an absolute fairy-tale and I am so thankful.

Darenda is absolutely fabulous as what she does. She was patient and thoughtful through our meeting as we looked over images and flower types to find just the right look. Our flowers were the most beautiful that I have ever seen, and many guests complimented this as well. Darenda delivers and completes the set up, so you won't have to worry about anything on the day of!

I cannot recommend Designs by Darenda enough. Seriously. The florals for our wedding were 100% my favorite part of it. It brought everything together. Doing a destination wedding in Key Largo from Texas was difficult because I had to find all the vendors basically online and when it comes to florals-I know NOTHING. When I found Designs by Darenda, she responded to me quickly and we even had a few phone calls where she answered all of my questions and helped to pick the florals when it came to the style I was wanting-a tropical boho feel. They day of the wedding, Darenda showed up with the florals and I was instantly taken aback by how GORGEOUS everything was. And I mean it. Everything was perfection and I even made my parents drive home with my bride's bouquet and a bridesmaid bouquet because I loved them so much!

We were married on 10/13/18 in Key Largo and Darenda designed all the flowers, bouquets and centerpieces for our big day. Everything was absolutely beautiful and all tied together. I really wanted colors that would pop and she did just that. The whole planning process with Darenda was super easy and she really took away a lot of the wedding day stress because I knew she would execute my vision perfectly. If you have the opportunity to book Darenda and her team, do it, like Now. Our March 2018 Walton House wedding flowers were absolutely gorgeous. They made an already lush venue come alive with color. Darenda took the time to talk me through the process, worked within my budget, and gave us exactly what we wanted down to tiniest blooms and ribbon. When we asked for our wedding arch to look like butterflies landed in the greenery using deep pink orchids, Darenda and her team made it happen and I lost my breath when I saw it (my hubby cried). Our tables came out exactly how I envisioned it. The tables arrangements were opulent while our guests could still easily see across the table. My bouquet of cascading deep pink orchids which matched our arch was the highlight of our sweetheart table. I still have 4 orchid plants from our wedding happily growing on our balcony. Darenda is fantastic and affordable and reliable. She loves what she does, has great taste for design, and is a nice person. Quality. If she is available, you can’t go wrong with Designs by Darenda.

Darenda was truly the best!!! Bouquets, boutonnieres, corsages and centerpieces came out better than I ever could've imagined!! She answered all my questions and gave me great alternatives for the flowers that I wanted that were not in season. I highly recommend her for weddings and any other event!!

HANDS DOWN, THE BEST FLORIST EVER! I was born and raised in Homestead and I have been following and admiring Darenda's work for years. I always told my mom that if and when I got married, I insist that Darenda be my florist. When my husband and I got engaged last year, my mom and I didn't even think about hiring anyone else and we made an appointment to meet with Darenda. She is sweet, professional, creative and so easy to work with. I simply showed her a couple pictures of what I had envisioned my wedding flowers to look like and Darenda brought it to life. Darenda is the first vendor that I am reviewing for my wedding because her flowers were absolutely stunning! Not only did the flowers come out beautifully... she was so easy to work with and so responsive with every email and phone call I sent her. I was planning our wedding from Boston so I was not able to meet her until the day of our wedding, but she made everything so very easy for me. She had to make a last minute adjustment to the flowers because one of the flowers on our contract was not available due to the California drought. She replaced them effortlessly and I think they came out more beautiful than the flowers I had originally planned! Everyone commented on how beautiful the flowers looked! Absolutely LOVE Designs by Darenda! We just got married in Key Largo over the weekend and Designs by Darenda was on the list of preferred vendors. Designs by Darenda was my first choice after looking at all the options. I arrived to my room with my beautiful cascading flower bouquet waiting for me. I also had flowers on the bamboo post arch. The color scheme just popped out at you and the flowers Darenda had recommended were just stunning. I had so many compliments! The flowers were exactly what I had envisioned and more! Darenda was amazing to work with! First, she is very responsive and her prices are VERY VERY reasonable. I sent her pictures and a budget I wanted to stay within and she exceeded all of my expectations. She went above and beyond by explaining the types of flowers she was thinking about using to get my input and also let me purchase a sample centerpiece so I could see what the flowers would look like day of. In addition to setting up all the flowers, she offered to bring all of the candles and candle holders to the hotel to set those up as well. The bouquets, centerpieces and decor for the ceremony were stunning and I received so many compliments. She truly was amazing to work with and I could not more highly recommend her.

Darenda did an amazing job on both the ceremony and reception. She used my pintrest board to help me describe what I was looking for and pulled it off beautifully. We had simple, low flower centerpieces with various sized votives and sea glass for the reception which were beautiful. For the ceremony she did hanging mason jars along the aisle chairs and created a beautiful outlines aisle with flower petals perfectly matching those in the decor. We were able to use the ceremony flowers for the cocktail hour as well! The bouquet and boutonnieres were gorgeous and exactly what I was looking for. For my mother and mother in law she did a pretty bracelet corsage that was just the right size. She even managed to bring in my favorite flowers even though they didn't exactly fit with the theme. Very talented and incredibly beautiful.

I found Darenda through the Cooper Estate. Having already been impressed with the venue, I knew that choosing from its recommended list of vendors was a wise decision. And boy am I glad I did. Darenda is an absolute peach, and so easy to work with. She is a talented and creative florist with an impeccable eye for design. I described to her, to the best of my limited ability, what I wanted and she made it come alive. From the overall finished product, to the tiny details, everything could be summed up in one word: perfect. It looked like a scene from a fairy tale, or at the very least, a scene from a “Pinterest Wedding.” Darenda is the epitome of professionalism. She knows her craft, and executes it flawlessly. She even saved my wedding cake after a skirmish between the baker and I. “Don’t worry. We will make it work. You will have a beautiful wedding cake.” And that I did. It was glorious after Darenda got her hands on it. I met her for the first time upon arrival at the venue. She is such a warm and kind-hearted person. “Sparkling” is a good way to describe her! She stayed to ensure that everything was perfect-down to my bridesman’s boutonniere. I would recommend Darenda a thousand times over, and am without doubt, using her for any floral needs in the future.

We used designs by Darenda for every flower in my whole wedding! They were hanging from the trees, all over the arch, hanging from the chairs, all over the tables! They were EXACTLY what u asked for and they were so beautiful! I couldn't have been more happier! She never acted as if she were to busy to answer any of my calls or questions! The owner of our reception venue highly recommended Designs by Darenda when we were trying to find a florist. During our initial meeting I knew Designs by Darenda was the perfect florist for our wedding. She knew exactly what kind of look and feel I was going for and seemed just as excited about the vision as I was. She personally delivered the wedding bouquets before the ceremony which really spoke volumes to how much she loves what she does and cares about everyone she works with. I gave her a necklace to incorporate in to my bouquet which came out better than I could have ever imagined and all of our reception décor was perfect. Working with Darenda for our wedding flowers was the best decision and I strongly recommend her for your special day! She brought our vision to life for our wedding, with both the colors and types of flowers. Our colors were plum/eggplant and ombre Orange. She got it absolutely perfect! She met with us to go over our ideas and really working with our budget. We did lanterns with candles and flower petals as center pieces and it turned out beautiful! I have examples of what I wanted and on the day of my wedding I was astonished by the beautiful display that Darenda brought to life! 1 ginormous bouquet and 7 beautiful bridesmaid bouquets and center pieces to die for. Darenda is a true master of her art and truly loves what she does; it is apparent through her work and customer service. As an educator, it was tough for me to plan my wedding without a planner, so I started early and did all the “hard” work during the summers. Thats when I meet Darenda, in the Summer of 2013. I had interviewed several florist (and through my profession I had ordered many flowers through wholesalers) and upon walking into her shop I knew she was the one I had to work with. Darenda made the process easy from the beginning and always listened to all my stressful situations about the wedding; even when it had nothing to do with the flowers! The easiest part of my wedding was booking Darenda! I told her my vision and budget; we emailed back and forth (she replies right away!), called a few times and made my vision a dream come true. May I add that all I showed her was a picture of what I wanted my bouquet to look like—she made it look even better!!! As of yesterday (9/9/14), it has been a month since I said “I do” to my husband and my bridesmaids flowers are still alive!!!! My bouquet is still talked about-it was a beautiful bouquet filled with blue roses, white and blue hydrangeas and few others. I loved every aspect of my flowers at our wedding, it was done to perfection and it was beyond a pleasure to have worked with her. I always told my friends and family that I wished all vendors were as sweet, professional, detail-orientated, passionate, and understanding as Darenda. Her work of art made my day beautiful- words can never express our gratitude. From now on, Darenda is our preferred vendor for any occasion, we know that she will execute our dream no matter how small or big. My wedding was a small event at Cheeca Lodge & Spa in Islamorada. Being so far away it wasn't easy trying to find certain vendors...and Florists were the hardest for me. But when I finally found Designs by Darenda...I knew immediately I had found the right one...no doubt Darenda was my choice! She was very responsive since most of our communications had to be through email. She listened to my ideas and wish list items, she asked questions, sent me pictures...she could see the vision I had. I was so happy with the way everything turned out. The flowers were gorgeous...everything I could have imagined and more! I definitely recommend Darenda for any floral needs! I planned my wedding in Key Largo Florida from Nashville TN so I had no idea what to expect from vendors. The resort that held my wedding had Darenda on their preferred vendors list. Working with Darenda was such a pleasure, she has so much experience and flower knowledge! I had a very specific vision for my flowers as far as colors and vintage style, as well as bouquet charms and vintage keys that I wanted in boutonnière's that I sent to her a month prior. She was happy to accommodate these requests for me and made the process so simple! I would recommend Darenda and her crew 100%! Darenda is one-of-a-kind!!!!! I cannot express how happy I am to have booked her for my wedding. I literally showed her just 1 picture of certain flowers and colors that I liked and boy did she really take it to a whole other level of amazingness! Everything from the halo crowns for the flower girls to the boutaineers, sign in table, centerpieces, even the tulle wrapping she used for my bouquet with accent beading that matched my dress... WOW, I mean everything was outrageous! She really outdid herself. It is obvious that she is an expert in her craft and has a true gift. This was my first time using Darenda but I would definitely recommend her to others. Our flowers were beautifully arranged and the colors were stunning. Everything was very easy and Darenda was extremely helpful.

We have used Darenda now for both our daughters wedding. Once in 2005 and now in 2014. Darenda is by far the most creative florist I have ever seen. Her arrangements are simply breathtaking. She is a pure joy to work with and always has a beautiful smile on her face.
