florists before I found darenda. I am so happy I did! She is kind, patient, attentive, reasonably priced, and has an amazing eye for color and beauty when it comes to florals. We wanted to remain within our budget and Darenda was the only florist who took that information and absolutely ran with it- creating a beautiful scene of elegance on the beach and still coming in a bit under our budget! She listens and she truly cares. Of all of our vendors for the wedding - Darenda was our favorite. On the day of the wedding she walked in with the most beautiful bouquet I could have imagined and a smile bigger than any I’d ever seen. She gets so excited for her couples and you feel that in every interaction she has with you (always positive and professional) and in her work (absolutely breath taking). I would book Darenda 100 times over, and I’m so grateful we found her.

I was hesitant to move forward because we weren't able to see a mock-up, but I had full faith in her after viewing her other weddings on websites and social media. Let me tell you she hit it out of the park and her designs exceeded all of my expectations! The floral for our wedding was stunning and even the other vendors and our venue commented on how stunning of a job she had done. I would book her again without a doubt and cannot recommend her more!

n Key Largo from Texas was difficult because I had to find all the vendors basically online and when it comes to florals-I know NOTHING. When I found Designs by Darenda, she responded to me quickly and we even had a few phone calls where she answered all of my questions and helped to pick the florals when it came to the style I was wanting-a tropical boho feel. They day of the wedding, Darenda showed up with the florals and I was instantly taken aback by how GORGEOUS everything was. And I mean it. Everything was perfection and I even made my parents drive home with my bride's bouquet and a bridesmaid bouquet because I loved them so much!

I really wanted colors that would pop and she did just that. The whole planning process with Darenda was super easy and she really took away a lot of the wedding day stress because I knew she would execute my vision perfectly. A HUGE Thank you to Darenda for helping make our day perfect!!

When we asked for our wedding arch to look like butterflies landed in the greenery using deep pink orchids, Darenda and her team made it happen and I lost my breath when I saw it (my hubby cried). Our tables came out exactly how I envisioned it. The tables arrangements were opulent while our guests could still easily see across the table. My bouquet of cascading deep pink orchids which matched our arch was the highlight of our sweetheart table. I still have 4 orchid plants from our wedding happily growing on our balcony. Darenda is fantastic and affordable and reliable. She loves what she does, has great taste for design, and is a nice person. Quality. If she is available, you can’t go wrong with Designs by Darenda.

I was planning our wedding from Boston so I was not able to meet her until the day of our wedding, but she made everything so very easy for me. She had to make a last minute adjustment to the flowers because one of the flowers on our contract was not available due to the California drought. She replaced them effortlessly and I think they came out more beautiful than the flowers I had originally planned! Everyone commented on how beautiful the flowers looked! For the ceremony she did hanging mason jars along the aisle chairs and created a beautiful outlines aisle with flower petals perfectly matching those in the decor. We were able to use the ceremony flowers for the cocktail hour as well! The bouquet and boutonnieres were gorgeous and exactly what I was looking for. For my mother and mother in law she did a pretty bracelet corsage that was just the right size. She even managed to bring in my favorite flowers even though they didn't exactly fit with the theme. Very talented and incredibly beautiful.

I described to her, to the best of my limited ability, what I wanted and she made it come alive. From the overall finished product, to the tiny details, everything could be summed up in one word: perfect. It looked like a scene from a fairy tale, or at the very least, a scene from a “Pinterest Wedding.” Darenda is the epitome of professionalism. She knows her craft, and executes it flawlessly. She even saved my wedding cake after a skirmish between the baker and I. “Don’t worry. We will make it work. You will have a beautiful wedding cake.” And that I did. It was glorious after Darenda got her hands on it. I met her for the first time upon arrival at the venue. She is such a warm and kind-hearted person. “Sparkling” is a good way to describe her! She stayed to ensure that everything was perfect-down to my bridesman’s boutonniere. I would recommend Darenda a thousand times over, and am without doubt, using her for any floral needs in the future.

She personally delivered the wedding bouquets before the ceremony which really spoke volumes to how much she loves what she does and cares about everyone she works with. I gave her a necklace to incorporate in to my bouquet which came out better than I could have ever imagined and all of our reception décor was perfect. I would highly highly recommend her, she does not disappoint.
