Absolutely best Wedding Director I have ever worked with. Felicia always goes above and beyond. She doesn't just recommend she actually coordinates everything on your wish list. Her team sets everything up and handles all the tear down so worry free process. You deal with one person she manages all the other teams. She handles all the flower arrangements as well as the decorations. She is wonderful to work with.

Felicia is one of the dearest people . Her talent and knack for putting things together is beyond expert. She is one of the hardest working people and she can even make a flower chandelier !! Unbelievable 💛 Hire her , you will not be sorry! Every bit of the work you see in her photos is her own work ! She is SO TALENTED and just a darn awesome person . She is also such a talented artist that even the HGTV house has 3 of her awesome paintings. She can take your vision and create it Show her a picture and she can create it from scratch . Felicia was absolutely phenomenal to work with, to say the least! She helped take all of my stresses away while planning for my big day. She did so much more than I could have ever hoped she would do. Not only was she my planner, she was also taking on a florist role as well! She was so eager and excited to do this! I could tell that it meant a lot to her to make our special day as beautiful as it could possibly be! She made it very clear throughout the process that she would make sure that happened! She most definitely meant it! She made the most gorgeous table arrangements, and picked the most beautiful flowers to go with the colors of our wedding! The table arrangements were absolutely unforgettable, and it made me wish flowers stayed that way forever! I already had a florist helping with the wedding at the time. However, Felicia took what they already had, and added so much more to it! I cannot even begin to imagine how different things would have looked if she hadn’t expressed the excitement that she did to help us with our floral arrangements! She listened to everything I envisioned, and made it come to life in such an unreal way! She’s very reliable, and quick to respond! She’s great at communication, and you can definitely count on her to answer any questions that you could possibly have! She’s very knowledgeable in the wedding atmosphere! She will recommend things to you that you probably didn’t even think about yourself! That’s one of my favorite things about her! She has such incredible energy, and she’s a joy to be around! You can tell that she is passionate about what she does, and genuinely wants to help bring everything together! She put together the most gorgeous and phenomenal aisle decor for the ceremony! I could not have possibly imagined getting married without it there. She took all of my visions, and not only made them come to life, but she added things to them that she personally knew would go really well with everything and things she knew that we would love! She was great at communicating with my other vendors as well when needed! If you’re planning a wedding right now, and need help from someone who loves what they do, Felicia Higdon is without a doubt the person that you need by your side helping you plan your big day! Felicia was the perfect wedding designer and coordinator for my special day! She brought my exact wedding design dreams to life, from the beautifully landscaped aisle to the details in the table decor. My wedding was during the height of the pandemic and she coordinated and communicated effortlessly with the vendors we had. Felicia worked with my catering vendor to create an amazing dinner while also negotiating a lower price. I had my ceremony at the Birmingham Botanical Gardens which had strict restrictions on decorations (like no decorations that would puncture the grass and no real flower petals on the ground) and she was able to create an elegant, botanical aisle while complying with the restrictions. Felicia has an eye for design and that's why she's the perfect coordinator. Wherever my vendors lacked, she creatively made up for! My wedding reception was at the Thomas Jefferson Tower in downtown Birmingham. The ballroom has tall historic windows and a large chandelier, so my worry was that even with decor the room would still look empty. Felicia decorated with different height elements and extravagant table decor to make sure the room looked just perfect! Felicia and her team worked so hard and made the whole experience very enjoyable. I chose Felicia as my wedding designer because I felt that she really cared about making my vision come to life while also saving me money where she could. Felicia brought my exact wedding vision to life and provided the details and elegance I wanted. Felicia was an absolute joy to work with, and I would highly recommend her as a wedding designer and coordinator!

Felicia was SUCH an amazing resource to have while planning a wedding. Covid pushed everything back, but she was there for me the entire time. My wedding ceremony took place in the botanical gardens, followed by a beautifully decorated reception at a separate location. She designed, organized, and executed a dream wedding. The communication was seamless and she really knew what she was doing. I absolutely recommend Felicia for your big day!!

Felicia is incredible! I couldn't rave about her wedding designs more. I was a guest at Kendall and Bryan's wedding in Birmingham, Alabama where she beautifully decorated separate venues for the ceremony and reception. She also ensured the wedding weekend flowed smoothly. The ceremony was set up outdoors at the Botanical Gardens and the reception was inside at the Jefferson Towers. She effortlessly tied in the gardens' aesthetic to the indoor venue through each fine detail. The floral centerpieces were elegantly placed and the gold detailing was the perfect touch! Felicia perfectly took note of the bride and groom's personalities and dreams for their wedding and created a timeless setting. And the best part is that she is just the sweetest, most joyful person to be around! She truly did it all that weekend and on top of that, she made the event even more fun to attend. Felicia is incredibly talented, and I will absolutely be reaching out to her when I am planning my own wedding!

Felicia always comes through. As a professional wedding photographer I could not ask for a more organized and beautiful setting to work in. Her team makes my job so easy. Felicia is great at making helping the bride and groom to enjoy a stress free day. The extra attention to detail is always exquisite. I don't leave reviews, but for this event I just have to! Julie and Brian's wedding was stunning. From the design of the space to the floral arrangements to the colors and the flow, it was perfect. The couple was married on a deck in a large restaurant, and you would have NEVER known it was deck! The way it was decorated was ingenious and the flowers and red carpet were perfect. I would hire this wedding planner in a SECOND for my own wedding. People are still talking about the beautifully decorated space, down to the smallest detail. If you want an upscale design eye, attention to detail and a beautifully executed event, Felicia is your woman. She was there all night before and the day of the event b/c she did it ALL!

It was my pleasure to attend a wedding in August that was decorated and coordinated by Felicia. The wedding went off without a hitch! Everything was beautiful and elegant. She went above and beyond to make the day special for the bride. The hand sewn, twenty foot runner that she made out of rose petals to keep the bride's dress clean while walking down the aisle at an outdoor wedding was such a thoughtful, extra effort that no one expected. She had great coordination and attention to detail! Both the botanical gardens where the wedding was held, and the reception area downtown were beautifully decorated. She did a fabulous job transforming an empty room into a lovely venue of celebration for the families.

We recently used Designs by Felicia to decorate and plan our wedding at Nunzios in Hilton Head Island. Felicia Higdon, the owner, turned the entire restaurant into a a magnificent wedding venue. Every room inside and out looked beautiful, and this was a big part of our pictures turning out so beautifully. She thought of details that added an extra special touch. She designed and made decorations to not only make the place look spectacular, but to also hide things we would not want in the pictures. We still have friends and family talking about how gorgeous the wedding was, as well as how organized. She helped us with ideas and plans for the wedding we would not have known to do. Our wedding party was also very happy to have someone guiding us through it all. We highly recommend Designs by Felicia for any type of wedding event .
