Our cake was incredibly delicious and beautiful as well! Myra was very helpful in our decision process and was very generous and budget-friendly. I would 100% recommend Designs in Sugar to anyone close to the Memphis area!

I’m not sure which was better—the cake or the experience. The customer service was exceptional, turn around time was quick, appearance was flawless, and the price was more than reasonable. The cake was so light and fresh it was hard to stop eating it. It was clear from the taste, appearance, and service that Myra made our cake with love for a very special day. I would trust all of my special moments to Designs in Sugar!

Myra was a dream to work with. She heard every idea and brought our dream to the table! Our cake flavor choice was her Citron with Buttercream and it was amazing.
We came down to the area during ice and snow storms and she braved them to meet with us for the tasting and our initial consultation.
In May when she was setting up our cake we were able to sneak a few photos with her and our cake. We are blessed to have a new friend on top of a cake that even now 3 weeks post wedding people are still commenting on!

We decided to go with Ms. Myra after contacting several other venders because of her amazing ability to take what we wanted and design it into the perfect cake. She was awesome with all of her interactions and responded to ALL text/phone calls. She kept us updated on any possible changes and she’s extremely talented. The only negative thing is we won’t need another wedding cake or I would use her for all future cakes. I couldn’t recommend a better person if anyone is in the market to get a wedding cake. You will be incredibly impressed!!!

Myra with Designs in Sugar was wonderful. Our wedding was out of town (we live in VA and had our wedding in TN), and Myra made discussing through message what I wanted and planning everything ahead of time virtually very simple.
I sent her photos of what I wanted and she absolutely made my cake and cupcake dreams come true. She made a stunning cake and cupcakes, and they tasted absolutely wonderful.
The only part I was disappointed about was I only got to eat one during the reception and I didn't think to save some for the next day. All my guests took them because they were so delicious. But that's not Myra's fault haha.
I am not exaggerating when I say these were the best cupcakes I have ever had, and the cutest too.
I definitely recommend picking Myra for any event.

Myra was so helpful and knowledgeable in planning and designing my cake and was very understanding in the dietary needs we had as well as incorporating some special requests, the cake turned out absolutely gorgeous and delicious and we had lots of compliments on the flavor, I can’t recommend Myra enough!

These cakes are not only stunning but are delicious as well. The sugar artistry provides a timeless keepsake of your special day should you choose to keep the flowers! Myra is the utmost professional whose patience helped me make up my mind (sooo many great options) and fall in love with our cake! Hire Designs in Sugar and mark that off your list!

Myra is not only an incredible baker, but a skilled artist, which is why even though she made enough wedding cake for 225+ people, our ~190 wedding guests were literally scraping the crumbs off the cake stand. I had wedding guests stopping me in the airport the next day not to tell me not how good I looked, but to rave about how delicious the cake was. We had a groom's cake (chocolate) and a bride's cake (layers of strawberry, Mexican vanilla, and butter pecan) and both were DEMOLISHED. Thank you for making my guests happy, but also for being prompt and professional when you delivered the cake to our venue.
We were supposed to wait until our first anniversary to share the top layer, but we unfroze it as soon as we returned from our honeymoon. It was to die for! Thank you, Myra!

I just have to share our experience with Designs in Sugar. I ordered a Groom’s cake for our son’s wedding, last minute of course and Myra was a gem. She accepted the job and went above and beyond my wildest dream with the design. The cake was as delicious as it was beautiful! Talk about melting in your mouth, oh so tasty!
