Desirae was absolutely wonderful to work with! She did an amazing job with our wedding pictures, and somehow managed to be everywhere even tho she’s only one person! She got every shot we could have wanted, and when we weren’t sure what we wanted she guided us through portraits. She also was extremely responsive to emails and helped us with finding vendors and planning out our wedding day! We have received so many compliments on the day of our wedding about Desirae’s professionalism and ability to include everyone in the wedding pictures in some way! And then when I got the wedding pictures back they were more than I could have ever imagined. I would highly recommend Desirae to anyone needing engagement or wedding pictures!

Desirae Jean Photography was an absolute joy to work with for our wedding photography. Desirae's communication was easy, thorough, timely, and effective throughout the entire process, ensuring we were always on the same page. The quality of her work and overall value was truly amazing - her creativity and eye for capturing fun, emotional moments really shone through and contributed so much to our special day. She was extremely helpful, thoughtful, easy going and flexible in making sure we got all the photos we wanted. Seriously cannot understate how special Desirae is. Used her for our engagement and wedding day and wouldn't hesitate to do so again. She is incredibly talented, kind, and easy to work with. We love literally every photo she has taken. Book her!!!!

They say on your wedding day aside from your partner you spend the most time with your wedding photographer. Well, we felt so lucky to spend the day with Desirae. As two awkward people she made us feel so very comfortable and captured some beautiful photos in the process.
When I had a wardrobe malfunction she was right there with safety pins. When the rain came pouring down she pulled out the umbrellas.
Somehow she was everywhere I needed her and knew exactly when to take a break. This woman is phenomenal.
If you are debating booking her for your wedding or event, do it and do it now. You won’t regret it.
Not only was she amazing but she turned around our photos in amazing time in the busiest time of year.
I cannot say enough good things about her. Desirae made our day an absolute dream.

Can't say enough positive things about Desirae. We hired her for our wedding and engagement shoot. She was extremely easy to work with for both, and made my wife and I feel at ease throughout the whole process. The photos came out beautifully, and turnaround on both was quick.
Unlike other photographers we've interacted with at weddings for family/friends, Desirae is willing to go with your ideas/vision, and will give helpful suggestions without turning down ideas that you have. When we needed ideas for shots, she was happy to takeover, but also was willing to go along with ideas we had for photos during our engagement shoot, and pictures with our dog the day of our wedding.
If we have anyone in our life getting married in VT or nearby, we 100% will be recommending they book Desirae.

We hired Desirae for our elopement and reception event. She was amazing! Would highly recommend. She is super nice and has a great eye for finding the most picturesque shots. She made us feel really comfortable. It was like having a good friend take your pictures.

Desirae was one of my favorite parts about my wedding. I am not a person who is good at taking pictures and doing all the poses and she took charge in such a fun friendly way, I cannot even begin to recommend her enough. I will forever hire her for any photo anything I ever need done because the quality of her work in combination with her stunning personality and ability to go with the flow was just a breath of fresh air. She listens when you say what you want to do for poses and adjusts herself around you, for instance I had heels it was hard to get around in the dirt with so she would order people in and out of the shots so I didn't have to move so much. If you need a photographer for LITERALLY anything please hire her and let her brighten your day and your event!

Desirae was amazing!!! We were nervous about being photographed so much, but she made it easy to do. She has a calm, professional attitude and was easy to get along with and work with. On the wedding day she was able to wrangle the family for photos and helped with the timing of things too. She blended in during the reception and my mom thought she blended in so well, that she looked just like one of the guests. This made it easy for her to get some great candid's! We couldn't have asked for anything more. :)

Desirae was simply amazing! She is extremely professional, creative and has an amazing eye for lighting in different settings. She is also very flexible and adapted pretty well to a rural/cabin style location that was mostly outdoors. She also did our engagement shoot and we couldn't have had a better photographer capture our special moments!

We LOVE Desirae! She did our engagement photos, we recommended her for our best friends wedding back in August, and she just did our wedding this weekend. She is like your best friend at the shoot, give you great guidance to pose, hyping you up and making you feel great! Last year I found Desirae very last minute. With covid putting a wrench in so many things, finding her was a highlighted gift that made up for so much for our big day. She was so professional, cool, kind, empathetic, creative, and easygoing. She was very adaptive to our semi chaos and used her talents to arrange things in a way that reflected our personal style and taste. She had great insight and questions beforehand that made me feel very comfortable with the whole process. We got married in a sculpture garden and she knew I liked the “hipster” artsy feel and she was on it, bringing different lenses and pose ideas that came out amazing. She brought furs and clothes to photograph our rings and invitations on, that I thought was cool. some of the best shots of those were also when she found an area of worn hardwood flooring in my MOAs house to use as a background. I can’t recommend her enough. The wooden cases usb drive was also a beautiful touch. She’s a great value, great talent and a pleasure to work with

Desirae captured our day so perfectly, I couldn't have been happier with how everything turned out. From the pre wedding day calls to the day of the wedding, Desirae was so easy to work with and organized. She executed out our timeline perfectly, and sometimes we ran ahead of schedule! She captured everything I wanted and more!
Thankful for her upbeat personality and for being the hype person I needed while taking photos. Desirae was part of our wedding for 10 hours, and it was a hot one! I can’t say enough great things about her and her work.

Desirae is simply amazing. We had our wedding last month and Desirae came right in and acted like one of the family (well the ones we like anyway). She was so helpful, so kind, and I honestly didn't know when she was taking most of the photo's. The shots of our scenery, my dress, my flowers, the set up, and us were impeccable. I LOVE that she caught some photo's of us being "real", they have turned out to be some of my favorites! It doesn't help that we are in our forties and fifties, and she made our pictures look like they belonged on a magazine cover. I cannot say enough about how amazing this experience was and just hope other people take a chance and book Desirae. You won't be sorry!

We hired Desirae to do engagement and wedding photos. She is the best photographer - she captures everything from the tiny details to the big moments and presents the photos beautifully! All of our pictures are stunning and Desirae makes the entire process so easy and enjoyable. Our engagement photos were the first time we had ever done professional pictures - Desirae did an amazing job walking us through the process and making it so much fun! She also went above and beyond by heping us identify places to take engagement pictures, providing input on our wedding day timeline, and providing us with excellent recommendations for other vendors she has previously worked with - several of whom we ended up hiring. She is very easy to communicate with and a wonderful presence to have alongside you throughout the wedding day! Overall, Desirae was a fantastic photographer and we cannot recommend her highly enough!

My husband and I got married a couple years ago, we had a very small wedding that we wanted to keep very laid back. Desirae did a great job of accommodating this and getting a lot great photos of us and our small wedding. Very happy to see her wanting to photograph more weddings as she is so talented. Would recommend her to anyone.
