Dessa Event Planning helped organize our engagement party as well as our wedding. It really put me at ease to have the same planner by my side from the minute we celebrated our engagement until we got married. Abryanna took the time to really get to know us, incorporated our ideas and offered hers (which were fabulous!). Every detail was well thought out. She even showed up last minute to help with a bride emergency! Having Abryanna as our wedding planner was like having a clone of me without me having to worry about a thing. Dessa Event Planning was the sole reason my wedding went so smoothly. I originally hired Abryanna as my day of coordinator a few months prior to my wedding thinking I had most of it under control. I met with Abyanna about 4 times prior to my wedding and called her numerous times. She truly lived up to the contract plus more. She went above and beyond what we originally agreed upon and helped me with details that I hadn't even thought of. Not only was she a lifesaver on my big day but she helped with a non biased input on seating chart, timeline, and decor ideas. She remained calm and was a great goto. I had designated friends and family to help with certain tasks the day of which was great, but having Abryanna there to take care of the little things I had not even thought about was truly key to my successful big day. Planning a wedding is a huge expense, even if you are a DIY bride, but hiring Dessa Event Planning was the best decision I made, it is an INVESTMENT, not another vender fee. Dessa has very reasonable prices for the services provided and best of all they can be catered and personalized towards your exact needs. Dessa Event Planning helped plan our entire wedding from start to finish and it was AMAZING!!! The entire process was stress-free and we had no worries from the first meeting! The best part about it was she planned the entire TX wedding from IL!! We originally hired her to help finish planning my brother and sister in law's wedding last year (found her on thumbtack) and she did such a great job from the start that we asked her to help plan ours in Texas!! She came to San Antonio once in the summer and we were able to pick a venue and caterer in one weekend and she arranged all other meetings with other vendors for us and all we had to do was show up and make decisions (with her help every step of the way)! Very professional! Very understanding! Very attentive! She helped us develop a travel theme that showcased our passion in life and made our wedding truly about us! Everyone that attended the wedding complemented us on "whoever we hired to put it all together" and we know that without her this wedding would not have been such a beautiful representation of our love! I was initially unsure if I needed/wanted to hire a day-of coordinator, as I am organized and pretty Type A. My sister (and MOH) is a day-of coordinator herself, as is a close friend from college, and both of them strongly suggested I do it - they made the point that most venue coordinators only really care about their operations and place of business, and their main focus is not your details. I am SO GLAD I took their advice, and so glad I came across Abryanna. At the point I hired her, she had done just a few weddings, but from her professionalism and sunny demeanor, it was obvious she was meant for this. She provided great insight and advice throughout the process, and I appreciate her work for my new husband and I. Her biggest value truly came the wedding day, though. She kept everything running smoothly, finalized venue setup while we were all in hair/makeup, and headed up the team effort to put out a rather large fire just before the ceremony, and kept the flames at bay during the reception. That last part was invaluable to me, as it was a worry throughout the planning year that came true, even though no one believed me it would. I had expressed this concern to Abryanna, and she was prepared. I HIGHLY recommend her services as a coordinator, and if you aren't organized and "with -it," she offers full planning as well!
