She was able to create an incredible cake for our wedding that was somehow both simple in its design, yet bursting with personality by incorporating our wedding colors and small Mickey Mouse shapes in gold that show off our love for Disney. Not only was it beautiful to look at, but it was delicious as well! She even created a small anniversary cake and delivered it prepackaged and ready to freeze for our 1 year anniversary.
I did only have one negative thing as far as feedback. We did have a big drop in our guest count that definitely affected the serving size. I contacted Gisela to update her on the small amount of guests but she recommended keeping the serving size the same. In the end, we wound up having way too much cake left over and we couldn’t eat it all before we left for our honeymoon so we had to throw it away 😭 Had we changed the serving size to reflect the smaller number like I wanted, we probably could’ve saved a little money and wasted way less cake. However, all in all we LOVED working with Dessert Designs by Gisela.

ding cake back in November of 2017. It was literally my dream cake! We had a beautiful semi-naked butter cream cake with sweet raspberry filling. My guests could not stop raving about how good it was. We loved it so much that my husband and I ordered a mini cake after the wedding to enjoy for ourselves. I also used Gisela for my girlfriend's bridal shower cookies. Everyone at her bridal shower at first did not want to eat any of the cookies because of how pretty they were, but then could not stop eating them because of how delicious Gisela's sugar cookies were.
