Unfortunately, I had an AWFUL experience with Alison from beginning to end.
Here are a few of many examples: 1) She claims to solve problems on your wedding day (even going so far...
as to say you won’t know problems occurred) and yet first thing the morning of my wedding, Alison interrupted my joyful getting ready experience to tell me the venue hadn't mowed the ceremony lawn and that she wouldn't get them to because "the chairs have already been set up". Thankfully, a different vendor insisted the lawn be mowed and simply moved the chairs out of the way herself. 2) As I was walking down the aisle, Alison unexpectedly walked right up behind me, picked up my train, and carried it much of the way. I still have no idea why she did this, but it ruined a very special moment I had looked forward to my whole life as well as all the accompanying photos and videos. 3) After I meticulously planned and communicated our reception layout (via diagrams, photos, phone calls, and in-person), Alison completely ignored me and did whatever she wanted instead. Despite my protests, she put the cake table in a different spot (and didn't bring our cake out until after the reception started, even though she explicitly agreed to bring it out before guests arrived), she insisted on switching the location of our bar and lounge area (creating a bad flow for the night that still really bothers me), and she failed to follow our very simple seating chart (she put the place cards for my family members in the completely wrong places, which I then had to fix myself after my family walked into the reception tent and my dad realized he would have his back towards everyone the entire night, including during his speech). I could go on and on with the countless things that Alison flat-out ruined on our wedding day.
Moreover, Alison claims to be a "full-service" wedding planner and says she'll do anything you need, which couldn't be further from the truth. She doesn’t have an organized process that she works through with her couples to make sure everything gets done at the right time leading up to their wedding day. Instead, the bride and groom have to plan out and initiate every step, then Alison will help out when and where she wants to (which often just means making vendor recommendations). This forced me to figure out, plan, and execute every single detail myself, which was incredibly stressful and time-consuming. A few examples: 1) When I emailed or called her for help, she frequently told me she was "helping my 2024 brides" (my wedding was in 2025) and didn't have time for me. It didn't matter how close my wedding got, it somehow was never "my time”. 2) She made it harder to work with other vendors by giving me misinformation and often telling me my other vendors wouldn't do something they agreed to when I asked them myself. 3) She even went so far as to make fun of me to other vendors, saying things like "she has more vendors than guests attending her wedding".
I can't imagine a more unprofessional, disappointing, and upsetting person (with terrible judgment) to work with on one of the most important days of my life.

What stood out most was how attentive and supportive she was throughout the whole journey. On the wedding day, everything ran flawlessly thanks to her careful planning and calm presence.

very first conversations, Alison took the time to truly understand what we wanted and worked with us to make our dream wedding a reality. What we loved most about working with Alison was her ability to be fully supportive while maintaining a relaxed, calm demeanor. She guided us through every decision without ever making us feel pressured, which was exactly what we needed during the planning process. I cannot express how helpful it was to have someone that can support you in this way, especially when you are a bride, like me, from a different state that has not seen the venue or met any of the vendors prior to the wedding day.
On the wedding day, there’s always that chance of feeling rushed or worried about being behind schedule—but Alison made sure that never happened. Where do I even start? Alison Kyle is the best of the best. She was the planner for our Jackson Hole destination wedding and everything was perfect and way beyond our expectations....
We love her so much and we are so grateful for everything she did to make our wedding, and all other wedding events, seamless, beautiful, perfect and magical (we had 4 wedding events total and each and every one was a fairytale... truly!). Alison is a wonderful planner, and also a wonderful person - we look forward to visiting her next time we are in Jackson Hole. Alison oversaw and handled everything at our wedding and other events so my husband and I wouldn't have to worry or stress. She did a spectacular job and was always looking out for us and taking care of us. We could tell she really cared and put her heart into everything she did. She made an effort with all our family members and made everyone feel welcomed and excited for our big day. She was on top of everything, and so organized and professional. We appreciate her warmth and kindness. For instance, during the wedding, Alison put together a platter of all appetizers/passed hors d'oeuvres for just the bride and groom to make sure we got to try everything and had a moment to sit, eat and enjoy, during such a busy time. She always had our backs and we knew we could count on her to make sure everything went smoothly and beautifully. During the wedding we didn't stress for even a second and were relaxed and on cloud 9 the whole time. Alison, thank you for helping us plan and execute the wedding of our dreams. The wedding was not only a dream come true, but also better than anything we could have ever dreamed of.
