We have used Travel Leaders before to book vacations so it was a no brainer to use them for our destination wedding! Janet Penyak was (and will continue to be) our travel agent! She was extremely help in suggesting locations and resorts where we would get the best service and best "bang for our buck". She was very flexible when it came to meeting to plan or make payments for our trip. Even after the trip was paid for she still continued to stay in touch and give helpful advice and "insider" tips and knowledge about the resort we stayed at! Also, a HUGE selling factor for Janet is, while at the resort we had a few hiccups and I emailed her around 8 or 9PM on a Sunday night and within 10 minutes she had replied! We used this travel agency to book our honeymoon and could not be happier with the results. Not only was the experience great but also our travel agent Janet made the process smooth and seamless. When we first started to look at places to travel for our honeymoon we had some ideas but where not really sure where to go. Janet suggested the Dominican Republic for a great honeymoon experience. After doing some research on the Dominican Republic it looked like the perfect place to travel for a honeymoon. Janet made the process of picking a resort just as easy as the place to go. She gave us several different options in resorts based on amenities and budget. We were never pressured or pushed be the more expensive options which was so nice. This being our first international flight we were a little nervous about what to expect. When we did take the trip everything was laid out perfectly for us in the book that Janet provided. Getting around a in a foreign country can be a little intimating but, not with using a travel agent. If you want a flawless honeymoon with nothing to worry about you are in great hands.

WOW!!!! Our trip to Jamaica could be easily considered the most fascinating and pleasing days I've ever spent traveling. Travel Leaders were very helpful in planning our honeymoon. We stayed for a week, so we got a complimentary night's stay at the Hyatt the night before our flight (you can choose the night before or the night when you get back with a free shuttle to and from the airport). Eileen also stayed late to meet with us to accommodate our work schedules. She suggested the best resorts to visit in Sandals and helped us stay within our budget. We are looking forward to going back to Travel Leaders Columbia SC to go on our Anniversary trip and many more after that!

We simply told here where we were thinking of going, and our budget, and she made it happen. When planning our honeymoon we were not really sure where we wanted to go. We knew somewhere tropical but we had traveled on cruises before and wanted something different. Eileen was mine and my husband's travel agent for out honeymoon. Neither of us had really been on a big vacation before and felt like we needed some assistance. She helped us book a fantastic room with an oceanfront view.This all inclusive, resort was perfect for us. It had a combination of adventure, romance, and social aspects that we wanted! It was also nice to have her call and book some excursions for us. We just told her what we wanted and she made it happen in a timely manner! We will always go back to Eileen at travel lenders for all of our big vacations! I highly recommend using travel ageants on any big trip, especially honeymoons! I wouldn't have been able to book as great a trip or as cheap as she did for us! We can't wait to go back and book again for anniversaries.

My now husband and I knew we wanted to do an all-inclusive resort for our honeymoon. I found Tara when I came across a local Sandals info event. I submitted my info for contact and Tara was the one who got in touch with me. She was absolutely wonderful! We were a little stressed about planning the honeymoon on top of everything else, but she pretty much did all of the planning for us! She sent me tons of pictures of the various Sandals resorts she had been to so that we had an idea of what each one had to offer, and she was very up front and honest about what we would get at each one. We ended up going to Sandals Grande Riviera in Ocho Rios (which was amazing). Tara made sure that the resort had all of the necessary info from us, including things needed to get the honeymoon package. She had all of the documents we needed for the trip mailed to us and constantly checked in with us through email and phone with info about excursions, a packing list, and just to see how we were doing. My husband and I got married on June 14, 2014 and left for Jamaica on the 15th. The honeymoon was in planning for a year. I found Tara based on registering that I did with the knot. She was absolutely wonderful. The honeymoon process can be overwhelming with so many choices. Tara takes all of that away she gave us some choices based on what we were looking for. She handled the booking and provided list of excursions so we could plan prior to getting there. In addition to remainders of what to print and how to pack. Once we arrived she checked on us to make sure everything was ok and to see if we needed help from afar. Even after returning she checked to make sure all went well. If you are looking for someone highly responsive, attentive to your goals AND budget, and willing to work with you long-distance via email or phone, this is it. My fiancé and I had set our sites on an Italian honeymoon. Rome then to the Amalfi coast for a few nights. Normally I would attempt to book this myself, researching flight times and reviewing hotels, trying to find something within our budget that didn't look like it was 10 miles from the nearest cafe or metro stop. But the idea of trying to navigate Italian rail websites to get the right tickets from Rome to the southern coast was just too much. I went in search of help. Destination Wedding Experts caught my eye because of all the awards and rave reviews they've received, but I was disappointed to find they were "based" in SC. I live in PA. I contacted them anyway and discovered they were willing - and adept! - at working long distance. I have been emailing with a representative, Janet, for about a month now and have been impressed by her responsiveness and professionalism. We came into the process with a pretty strong idea of what we were looking for and she got on board immediately. She found us flights that would get us there without tons of transfers and rooms within our budget. When we decided to splurge and 'upgrade' our hotel picks, she worked with us to find that little extra something - in our case, an ocean view! Each time she emailed us with a new find, she included the names of the hotels so we could search them and read reviews. She also always included the cost, keeping us up to date on what we were spending and where. When it came time to book, she itemized our expenses and confirmed each charge before billing it to be sure we were committed to it - and ready for the charge to go through (very thoughtful). In the end, Janet got us a flight into Rome, transport from the airport to our hotel (by the Spanish Steps!), train tickets to Naples where we'll take a ferry to Sorrento, a hotel in Sorrento, a day trip to Pompeii & Mt.Vesuvius, a day trip to Capri & the blue grotto, and transport from our Sorrento hotel to the Naples airport. She's in the process of researching soccer tickets for us, too! Our wedding and honeymoon are in September of this year, so i'll do my best to report back on the trip itself. In the meantime, I would strongly recommend contacting Destination Wedding Experts about your honeymoon plans.

While attending a bridal expo with friends, I met Tara from Travel Leaders who was able to help us plan a dream honeymoon. She set up a meeting for us to attend Sandals night and learn about all of the Sandals Resorts and locations. From there, she was able to create a package for our top choices which helped to make the best decision, Sandals Grand St. Lucian. She was very helpful with planning our entire trip from making pre-travel arrangements, booking flights and rooms, and everything in between. She even helped by creating a folder full of information about the location we were traveling to, what to bring/not to bring, information on the resort, available local excursions, and charity/volunteering opportunities. She helped us to determine the pros and cons of each trip we were considering. She never pressured us. She worked with our budget and kept our trip within our budget. She was easy to reach. We used Travel Leaders of Columbia for our honeymoon travel and they were wonderful! They were very helpful in finding us a destination within our price range. I don't think we would have went any other route with the specials we got for booking our butler villa in Jamaica through the Travel Leaders versus booking straight through the resort ourselves. We even received a complimentary room the night of our wedding at an extremely nice hotel (with transportation to and from the airport!) in Charlotte, NC. I would strongly suggest using Travel Leaders for stress-free vacation planning!

My new husband and I chose the Sandals Montego Bay Resort with the help of Connie at Travel Leaders. Overall, we were very pleased with everything from the beginning (especially Connie) to the end, and even more happy with the wedding department staff, and workers at Sandals, who really made us feel at home. They did a fabulous job on my makeup and I couldn't have been happier my dream was coming true. Our photographer, was also awesome our pictures are outstanding. We met Elizabeth at a Sandals night put together by Travel Leaders and Sandals. After this presentation, she stayed late and answered additional questions for us, regarding our interest in the trip. The next day, she put together several packages for us to choose from (as far as destinations, resorts and room levels). She also gave us advice. When we made our choice, she made us completely aware of what travel insurance covers and was not vague on what the insurance did not cover. I knew with my trip what I was purchasing and I was confident in this decision. Several months later, I realized that we would need to fly from another airport and connect to our trip. Elizabeth showed how that was not even a problem and set a flight up for us for less than 100 dollars! When we got to the resort, we heard others having logistical issues, such as room accommodations or placement. We also got to see the other resort that we were considering, which was not for us. Elizabeth made a great suggestion based on our needs and I even found myself bragging to the other guests about my experience with Travel Leaders. When we got back, we were welcomed home with a nice card congratulating us and whatnot. The personal touch was appreciated. This review does not put to justice the quality of service I received with Elizabeth at Travel Leaders. In between, I called her direct line for random questions and she always responded as if that was what she was there for. I will definitely be using her services again and recommend her to all of my friends.

I met Eileen with Travel Leaders locally through a networking group and it was such a blessing. While we hired a wedding planner and top notch wedding vendors, it never occured to me to use a travel agent. I just assumed I knew how to book my own vacation and there would be unncessary additional costs for using their services. I was so wrong! Not only was the trip the same price I would have paid on my own, if not less, but the value they added was priceless! We had planned to go to one of the three Sandals in St. Lucia and Travel Leaders was able to educate us on the perks and highlights of each resort and found us the perfect fit! It wasn't the one we had planned on but they were spot on with their information about each resort. We were able to stay in a Butler suite for the same price as the original resort choice and it was more our style. When you spend that much money to go on a dream vacation, you want to do it right and they helped us do just that! We also forgot something very important and we were able to call Travel Leaders on our way and they put us at ease that we'd be able to get the forgotten stuff at the resort. Priceless! I won't take another vacation without using Travel Leaders!

We went to a Sandals resort in Ochos Rios. They were amazing there! We aren't sure on what end messed up somethings but we had to: 1. correct our last names and his birthday 2. did not received a voucher booklet 3. verify and wait for our spa credit and cattaraman cruise I will say that while at Sandals they did everything to help fix things and made sure it was done in a timely manner!
