Using Destinations Diva for my destination wedding was a GAMECHANGER! There is no way that I could have navigated my planning on my own. Kim and her team were knowledgeable, available and approachable throughout the entire process. No question was too trivial! She also acted as the liaison between myself and the onsite wedding coordinator — always remaining one step ahead to quell my anxieties. Kim calmed my nerves throughout every step! Her assistant, Kendall, also spoke to my guests throughout their booking processes and was clear, concise and friendly.
If you’re interested in having a destination wedding, do yourself a favor and hire the Destinations Diva team. They are truly the best of the best! I wish I could host another destination wedding so I can work with them again! :)
I had a lot of anxiety about having a destination wedding with 60+ guests, especially concerning the transportation arrangements to and from Cancun airport and our wedding venue, Secrets Moxché in Playa del Carmen. Kim and her team were incredibly helpful throughout the entire process. All of our guests were well taken care of, and no one was calling my phone causing me anxiety. She managed to coordinate with the drivers for flight cancellations, delayed landings, and any other issues that arose.
Kim's booking website was super easy to use, making the planning process much simpler. She also sent us a surprise gift right before our wedding and encouraged me not to stress. Our guests appreciated the smooth and efficient transportation arrangements, and it was all thanks to Kim and her team's efforts.
If you're planning a destination event, I highly recommend Kim. She turned what I feared would be a logistical challenge into a well-executed part of our special day. Her expertise and dedication ensured that everyone arrived safely and on time, allowing us to focus on enjoying our wedding. Auntie Kim and the cousins (her support staff) help me plan and execute a beautiful destination wedding in Jamaica for a group of 30.. Thorough, listens, recommendations for ANY BUDGET, and when it's time to travel, it felt as if her and the crew had packed their bags and traveled with every guest. This was hands down one of the best experiences I’ve had while using a travel agent . The travel was easy , the resort was absolutely beautiful, the food was amazing and well Kim was the icing on the cake . She helped me every step of the way up until the day we left to ensure our wedding day was perfect and things were together . When there was a need she was available to assist and correct . Kim and her team were absolutely amazing! I found Kim through her Instagram account, and after our first meeting I knew my wedding planning was in good hands. She listened to all my concerns, had great guidance and put up with all of my questions. Her response times were always fast, and her expertise was greatly appreciated. Together we chose my destination wedding to be at Puerto Vallarta based off of my family and friends needs. She negotiated a group rate and stayed within all conversations between myself and the resort. She also put together a booking website, travel apps and more. I cannot recommend Kim and her team enough, whether for a destination wedding or traveling in general.

My close girlfriend utilized them for her destination wedding to Jamaica and I must say she made the right choice. Using Kim was the best decision we could have made for planning our destination wedding! She made everything so easy and was always there to help, answer questions, etc., even the day of the wedding and on our honeymoon! You will not regret using her services, it is SO worth it!!! I have already recommended to others.
I used destination divas to plan our destination wedding and Kim’s Amazing expertise helped us plan the most special day! Kim started by helping us choose a destination, we landed on Puerto Vallarta Mexico. Then she gave us her recommendations of 5 different resorts highlighting their features. Once we narrowed it down she reached out an negotiated a group rate for us. Once we choose she helped develop contracts with the resort so we could get our reservations started. She helped us coordinate and organize travel for 80+ people which is no easy task! Kim not only helped with the travel she also helped with the wedding planning process with the resort. She frequently communicated with the resort and was a liaison on my behalf when problems arose. She helped me with things to look for and ask them. We ultimately couldn’t have done this without her!
Kim was great with sharing information and making sure I knew all the requirements for international travel with Covid. We were attending a friends wedding in Cancun. The resort was beautiful and our transport was there when expected even as our flight was delayed.

Kim Short was an amazing wedding planner for our destination wedding. Planning a wedding in 2020 was not an easy task, but Kim helped us through all of the road blocks and made our wedding day amazing and stress free!!! She was always quick to respond to any questions we had. She worked with all of our not so easy guest lol and was very patient with us. Kim did everything she needed to do to make our wedding day a dream come true. I would highly recommend her to anyone who is wanting to do a destination wedding!! She will make the planning easy and stress free for everyone!
Kim helped my husband and me plan our honeymoon and she is awesome! She really knows what she’s talking about and knows all the good resorts. We went to Secrets Akumal and had an amazing time thanks to Destination Divas! Kim arranged our flights, transportation to and from the resort and everything in between.
