roit Catering Company before but it was one of the recommended vendors at our reception venue. They are a great company to work with. Not only is the food absolutely delicious but the staff helped us have a low-stress and organized event. I received a lot of compliments on the day of my wedding but most of them were talking about how amazing the food was! The appetizers were all so good, the pork chop lollipops were one of the favorites. The dinner was delectable, a few people said the mashed potatoes were the best they’d ever had. The chefs are so sweet! I have type one diabetes and the chefs packed up a to-go box just in case my blood sugar went low. We also got tacos for our late-night eats. We ended up taking the leftovers back to the hotel and they only lasted about 30 minutes at the hotel! Crystal is the main contact and she’s very sweet and very helpful! If you’re having an event in the Detroit area you have to hire Detroit Catering Company! I can’t wait for my next event so I can hire them again!

We had to bring everything into the venue so I was anticipating some speed bumps but she made everything run so smoothly and it all went perfectly. Throughout the planning process, she responded immediately and talked through any concerns we had. The food was delicious and so many of our guests told us they loved it! I definitely recommend booking them.

She walked us through everything and made the whole process very easy! Stewart was awesome and the food was amazing! Everyone said the appetizers were amazing and everything else was also delicious! They set up was esthetically pleasing and they did a great job! They kept everything hot and the trays full! We would highly recommend DCC for your next event! ummer of 2020. Once we decided to postpone our wedding, Crystal was an amazing person to work with. She made transitioning our wedding to a new date smooth and easy. She was very flexible and was always quick to respond via email or over the phone. The day of our wedding ran effortlessly thanks to Stewart and the rest of the DCC staff. They were very accommodating and handled our cocktail hour, dinner, and even helped with our cake. Stewart came to our head table to check in, along with other staff members. I was so fortunate they were there helping our special day be memorable. From our tasting with Stewart back in 2019, to working with Crystal, to our wedding on July 30th, DCC is absolutely amazing. They have wonderful staff members, delicious food, and are just all around a wonderful company to work with!

Crystal and Stewart were ALWAYS available to help clear up any questions and concerns I had - even when it was late at night or outside business hours. Stewart set up a fantastic tasting for us and then brought us over to his donut shop (Sugarr), where the donuts were amazing! He's such a kind guy and you can tell he really loves what he does! Detroit Catering Company went above and beyond in all aspects of the planning. Unfortunately, our large wedding was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Stewart refunded our deposit with no questions asked and no pushback. When the refund check got lost by USPS, he even offered to drive another check to my house (over an hour away). I can assure you that this exemplary behavior is not common in the wedding industry right now, as most of our other vendors did not stick to the provisions of their contracts. How a business treats their clients in times of distress is a true testament to their values. It's evident that Detroit Catering Company values their clients and treats them well, even when it might be a hardship for them to do so. When we're finally able to have large events again, I hope to be able to use Detroit Catering Company, and I encourage you to book them for your wedding!!!

our guest said it was the best chicken they've ever had. Stewart made it a point for us to actually eat the food we had picked and continually check in with us to see if we needed anything or how he could help. You will not find a better catering team in Detroit!

l sprouts and a citrus vinaigrette when I told him I loved citrus. We decided to have him cater dessert too when we tried his donuts from Sugarr and he created special donuts to celebrate our wedding. He brought serving stations to match the wood accents of our venue for no extra charge and created an appealing dessert station that matched too. I would definitely use Stewart again for events!

r their services. The meals were delicious and a huge hit, however since we went with family style serving, much of the food was a bit on the colder side. The servers and staff were fantastic, and super helpful throughout the night. We were told and were hoping to have the leftovers packaged and saved for us at the end, but unfortunately that didn't end up happening. Overall wonderful vendor, though - thanks!

on many things and I could not be more thankful for the way he treated my husband and I. He was professional, kind, and honest which made choosing his company that much easier. The food is out of this world, and the donuts he did for us we got so many compliments on! He invited us out earlier in the process to do a tasting and I knew from the moment we met that he would be catering our wedding. Being genuine in this business is seemed hard to come by during our process by some vendors, but I can tell you if you want an amazing experience and food, call Stewart...you won't regret it! I had a menu on my mind and Stewart made it happen. He is so easy going and so wants to work with you for your wedding menu to be everything you want it to be. Every single time you call him, he gets back to you within the hour. HE CARES! Our wedding venue was one where you have to bring EVERYTHING in and Stewart offered almost every time I spoke to him "Is there anything you need? We can get anything for you. We can bring in anything for you." They brought in bartenders and waitstaff. I think the bartenders were the nicest and quickest bartenders I have ever met. I received so many comments from guests on how wonderful the waitstaff and bartenders were. His prices were very reasonable. They also present the food beautifully. The appetizer and buffet tables were setup so nicely. I could just go on and on about how wonderful our experience was with Detroit Catering Co.
