Courtney and Jeff are AMAZING! They are so passionate and hardworking. I don't have enough space to talk about how much we loved working with them. We met initially in their gorgeous studio almost a year before our wedding. Courtney created a beautiful look book for us that we were able to use while we were planning the rest of the wedding. Also, I have to mention, we met a few months later and completely changed our vision for the day. Courtney was so patient with us through our mind changes and ultimately gave us our dream floral design. She was just as excited as us through the whole process. The day-of was absolutely stunning. I cannot say enough about how great it was working with Detroit Design Co. They did the most incredible job on our floral for our wedding. Courtney is incredible! The flowers and aesthetic she created for us was beyond my greatest expectations!! They were so perfect and I kept walking around staring at them in awe. My bouquet was gorgeous, the boutonnieres were exactly what I wanted and she really made the day a dream come true!

Our wedding was a very small and simple outdoor ceremony. We did not originally plan on having any flowers, but ended up contacting Detroit Design Co. a couple of weeks before the wedding to request a bouquet for myself and two bridesmaids as well as boutonnieres for the groom and best man. Not only did Courtney happily accept the job on short notice, she also obliged our last minute request of adding corsages and boutonnieres for the moms and dads. I am so glad we decided to reach out, the flowers added a whole other level of elegance and beauty to our otherwise simple ceremony. When the flowers showed up the morning of the wedding, everything looked gorgeous and I absolutely fell in love with my bouquet. Courtney was able to grasp my style and turn it into a floral work of art. Now that the wedding is over, I am having my bouquet turned into an actual work of art, as I have sent the bouquet off to be dried out and framed. Courtney and Jeff were absolutely amazing! I wish I could give more than five stars. Our wedding guests are still raving about how gorgeous all of our flowers were. I am not a very creative person, so I was worried I would have a difficult time getting a wedding florist to understand and recreate my vision. Courtney and Jeff completely read my mind after our first meeting. They sent me a proposal with the most amazing look book and it was like they had pulled images directly out of my brain. They are so detail oriented and dealt with me sending them emails with paragraphs of small changes as we got closer to the wedding. They never missed a beat and every little detail was absolutely perfect on our wedding day. I cannot say enough amazing things about them and I am so thrilled they were a part of our wedding day!

Courtney was great and I could tell she had a good idea of what we wanted for flowers from the start. We also ended up renting some table decor for the reception, black lanterns, tealight candle holders, wood, and greenery, as well as a ceremony arch with simple white drapes. Everything turned out beautifully. I wanted a bouquet with sunflowers and orange flowers and I was very happy with how it turned out, as well as the flowers for my husband and the rest of the bridal party. We can't recommend Detroit Design Co. enough. Courtney and Jeff did the most beautiful job on our wedding flowers. Our guests raved about them. Even the venue coordinator mentioned how beautiful and different (which is what we wanted!) they were. Our wedding was somewhat non-traditional, mostly in that it was very purple, right down to my dress. We wanted lots of deep, rich purples and some greenery, and Courtney and Jeff really hit it out of the park with stunning flowers and succulents. Friends and family literally posted photos on social media of JUST the flowers, so they were a big hit. They even made a flower collar for our dog, who was the "flower girl," and she actually wore it all day! We couldn't believe it. She looked so good and we are so grateful for everything Courtney and Jeff did for us. We're so happy with how everything worked out and we highly recommend Detroit Design Co!

Courtney is AMAZING. I will never use another florist again for any future event. From the very beginning, Courtney was fantastic. My mother and I have very different styles, and Courtney melded my Mom's more traditional style with my offbeat style. She also included flowers from my father's garden in my bridal bouquet - going so far as to come out to my parents' house to cut the flowers. She's incredible and the final design was GORGEOUS. She worked within our budget and designed something modern and creative.

The trust and ease that I felt with Courtney turned out to be a huge advantage when Hurricane Irma closed down the Miami airport where the flowers were importing through. Instead of feeling a panic of not knowing what floral we would have at the wedding, Courtney put my mind to ease with the plans she put in place to solve the issue of potentially not getting in the flowers we had chosen. Fortunately, Courtney was able to get the flowers we wanted imported in time for the wedding, but she spent the entire night before the wedding awake arranging the floral. I can't imagine that many other florists would go the extra mile as Detroit Design Co. did in the face of a challenge like they had. Courtney was the ideal florist to work with. She helped us stay within our budget while still providing beautiful arrangements. We received so many compliments! Since we did not live in the area, she was willing to arrange everything with us over skype and email. Our day-of coordinator loved working with her as well.

Absolutely amazing! Courtney and Jeff designed beautiful, visually interesting centerpieces and bouquets for my fall wedding. The floral arrangements perfectly incorporated our wedding colors, and the wreaths of greenery on the tables brought the touch of rustic elegance I was looking for. They were also able to incorporate some personal touches and DIY items provided by my mom and me. Courtney, Jeff, and their team were also highly flexible when the reception hall changed the setup time at the last minute. They were able to get the ceremony site and reception hall beautifully decorated on short time. Highly recommended!
