Attention to detail and so, SO very fun to work with! Matt Rappaport and his staff were very attentive to our needs, and accessible through the whole planning process. I did not have to reach out to Matt with questions - as he planned meetings and calls with me to make sure we were comfortable with our band, our event timeline, our playlist, our set-up, our everything. Our guests had a fantastic time!

Having Collision Six as our wedding band was one of the VERY best decision we made. The energy from the moment we entered the reception to the last song was truly outstanding. They kept our guests on the dance floor ALL night, made the whole event feel truly personalized to us and blew us all away with their talent! We continue to get so many compliments such as, "best band we've ever heard at a wedding" to "they absolutely killed it!" Definitely the best Detroit Event Company out there!! Not only were they the VERY best performers, they were the most organized vendor we had! They made the whole process so easy. From speaking with us about the vibe of our wedding to reviewing our detailed song preferences to ensuring they could pronounce everyone in the wedding parties name properly, they addressed all details without even being asked and made us feel confident that they would make our wedding an absolute blast. Matt was also an outstandingly professional MC which was just icing on the cake. After the wedding they also posted photos and videos of the event which was awesome to reflect on the day after! I don't typically write reviews but with a band this good, it's worth sharing! Can't say Thank You enough, Collision Six!!

Collision Six and the Detroit Event Company was such an amazing band for our wedding! They were actually much more than a band, and helped us with a lot of the wedding planning and flow of our whole reception. They made it so stress free and enjoyable! It was so helpful to have such organized meetings scheduled with them before, and also a week of wedding phone call to go over any last minute detail. The whole process couldn't have been better! Not only were they organized, helpful, and easy to talk with, but they are also an AMAZING band! Our dance floor was packed the whole night and so many people commented on how great they were. Definitely one of the best parts of our wedding reception!

Collision Six is the best wedding band EVER and Detroit Event Company went above and beyond to make our entire wedding weekend a dream! From the moment we started planning with DEC, they were incredible. We decided very last minute that we wanted to have live music at our rehearsal dinner and they had an incredible guitarist, Jeremy St. John, ready to perform to give the evening the perfect finishing touch! At our reception, Collision Six started and BAM, the dance floor was packed and it stayed that way until the lights turned on! They brought such an incredible energy to the room and made it feel like a truly special and unique show that was created just for our special day. But before we even got to our wedding day, Matt and Sarah met with us to make sure that they understood our vision, talked us through everything to make sure we were comfortable, and left us with some of the best advice that I will be forever thankful for. This incredible team of musicians helped us to create a party above my wildest expectations that we will remember forever, and they have created some MAJOR fans for life!! My husband and I love Collision Six and Detroit Event Company and we cannot thank them enough for going above and beyond to make our wedding absolute perfection!

My husband and I first heard Collision Six at my brother’s wedding in 2015. They were amazing and the atmosphere they created was spectacular; we knew we wanted them at our wedding, no matter what the cost. When we finally set a date, Collision Six was the first contact I made. We chose to get married on a Wednesday and the band was more than willing to make a trip to Toledo on a weekday. Matt was beyond helpful. When we didn’t know what to do for our reception entrance, he helped us come up with an idea. When I wasn’t sure if we would get a photographer because of financial reasons, he went out of his way to talk to a photographer he knew that would be willing to take pictures for a lower rate. He also had great suggestions, my favorite suggestion being that the band play my brother and sister-in-law’s song from their first dance at their wedding (which was a song the band learned specifically for their wedding and hadn’t played since). My sister-in-laws reaction was priceless when Matt did a shout out to them and they heard their song. Matt’s communication throughout the entire planning and on the wedding day was more than I could ask for. For every little mishap, Matt and Sarah were there to help – whether it be getting me contact solution because my contact fell out or holding off speech introductions because the maid of honor needed an extra minute. Collision Six is so much more than just a band; they truly want your day to be special and are willing to help in any way to make that happen

My husband and I had a wonderful experience with working with Matt Rappaport. After Matt heard what our criteria was for our wedding and budget, he connected us to Derrick Castenholz of DJDC Productions and the coordination with everything was very smooth. Highly recommend working with Matt if you are in need of entertainment for a wedding or party!

It goes without saying that hiring well-organized, flexible vendors is key to making any event a success. This was my expectation when beginning to work with Detroit Event Company, but they blew all expectations out of the water. Matt and Chris with Detroit Event Company were amazing. Out of all the vendors we used for our wedding, they were the most organized and professional. They made sure they were on top of every detail and they made the day run really smoothly. We had so much fun, and we were at ease knowing they were running the show. We highly recommend them!

Ever since my husband and I found out that we were pregnant, we knew that we wanted to have an untraditional baby shower. I contacted Matt from the Detroit Event Company to touch base on the perfect entertainment piece for our shower. I knew Matt from working with him several years ago as the band leader at the "still talked about to this day" wedding band. But for real, we had to extended our wedding an hour because we had 100 people still dancing at 12:30AM and needed to go closer to 2AM. Matt connected us with the perfect acoustic guitarist for our "baby is brewing shower" and validated our choice of photo booth for our event. Matt and his team are professional, but more importantly personable. I know when I am talking to Matt that I have his full attention and that I can really get the quality of service that I expect. I would highly suggest working with the Detroit Event Company, you won't regret it!

Detroit Event Company handled our booking of Cosmic Groove - one of the fabulous bands they have in their roster. Matt was professional and poised, and the band set up promptly with their own equipment. I barely had to do a thing! The crowd enjoyed the performance immensely & I have every intention of booking again in the future should I ever have another need for a live band. Matt is a fantastic resource to have!

Working with Matt from Detroit Event Company for our event entertainment could not have been easier. The process was seamless from our initial contact through the follow-up after the event. He responded to all our questions promptly and thoroughly with enthusiasm and genuine interest to make sure we had the best music for our needs. He gave us several music acts to choose from, all of which were great options. We felt very confident with our final selection, Cosmic Groove Trio. Previously, with other suppliers, we never had an opportunity to discuss specifics relative to entertainment. With Detroit Event Company, we really appreciated being able to meet with Matt face-to-face to go over all the details a few weeks before the event including things we never would have thought of. We even had a chance to discuss the particulars directly with the band contact a few days ahead of time. The night of the event, we were able to focus on hosting our guests without having to worry about any glitches with the entertainment. The attention to detail ahead of time made a huge difference!
