Working with Jeff and Detroit On The Rocks was the best decision we made! They came through at short notice, provided amazing service, and really went above and beyond. We had a disabled guest and they helped him through the buffet and carried plates to him, brought him drinks, etc. We had a couple custom cocktails that they were able to serve (and even improve upon) with no problems. The price was SO much more reasonable than expected. I want to throw another party just so we can hire them again.

We had a great experience with Jeff and Detroit On The Rocks for my son's recent wedding. Jeff was very responsive throughout and the ladies who worked at our reception were friendly, personable and went out of their way to be helpful. Detroit On The Rocks was also the only vendor willing to quote alcohol as part of the service, with a credit for anything unused, which we appreciated as we did not want a lot of leftovers. I would not hesitate to use them again and would highly recommend them to anyone needing bar services.

From our first meeting, Jeff K. was professional and passionate about mixology. He took the time to understand our tastes and vision for the wedding, offering great suggestions and ensuring that every detail was perfect. One of the highlights of our wedding was the signature cocktails crafted by Detroit on the Rocks. Jeff and his team created two standout drinks that our guests couldn’t stop raving about: Blood Orange Margaritas: These were an absolute hit. The vibrant, tangy flavor of the blood orange, perfectly balanced with tequila and a hint of sweetness, made for a refreshing and memorable drink. The presentation was beautiful, with a garnish of dried orange in each glass. Gold Rush: Crowd pleaser among the men at the wedding with bourbon, honey, and lemon. The service provided by Jeff and his team was top-notch. They were not only skilled bartenders but also incredibly friendly and attentive. They engaged with our guests, made sure everyone had a drink in hand, and accommodated special requests with ease. Detroit on the rocks was everything we could have wanted for a bar service package and more for our wedding! Jeff was so responsive and helpful throughout the planning process. The bartenders for the event were fun and so helpful! They were amazing! I couldn’t recommend Detroit On the Rocks enough for your bar service needs! 10/10!

Detroit On The Rocks was incredible. Everything we could have ever wanted and we cannot begin to thank them enough for helping make our wedding night so great. Jeff was extremely responsive, kind, and professional throughout the process. Our wedding had a lot of moving parts and he never batted an eye and was always supportive. The night of the wedding the bartenders brought the energy, were fun, attentive, and everyone raved about the cocktails. They truly made everything easy on us and for that we are forever grateful!

Thanks so much to the crew at Detroit on the rocks. Jeff is easy to work with and gets back to you fast. He gave me good advice on my numbers and 1 bar VS. 2 bars. I am so happy I listened to his advice. One bar was perfect. (151 guest) We rarely had a line. The employees were so friendly and treated everyone well! They were funny and joked and had a good time with the guest! I saw lots of smiles as people were walking away. My guests had a wonderful time! Thanks for being a part of my vendor team!

Detroit on the Rocks was absolutely AMAZING!! We hired two bartenders who were so attentive and our we had comments from our guests that said they were one of their favorite parts of the night. The bartenders started conversations with the guests and one of the bartenders made sure to check on the bride and groom to make sure they had drinks at several parts of the night. At one point, two of the guests had broken glass on the floor, and the bartenders were very quick to tell us to not pick it up and hurt ourselves, and cleaned it up so quickly. I could not ask for a better service!

We hired Detroit on the Rocks for our wedding at the Detroit Historical Museum. They set up two bar set ups for us, one upstairs for cocktail hour, and one in the basement for the rest of our reception/dinner service. The set up of both bars and the transition from cocktail hour to reception was seamless and on time. During the entire event the staff was very friendly, made excellent drinks, and worked efficiently. Multiple guests have told us after the fact how wonderful the staff were and how they treated everyone like they were important and special. Communicating with the owner, Jeff, throughout the planning process was very easy and smooth. He replied to emails and calls in a timely manner and answered all of our questions. A day after our wedding we even received a refund for unopened alcohol. I will recommend Detroit on The Rocks to any and every bride I know! It was a truly unforgettable night thanks to all their hard work! 100/10!!

I have nothing but excellent things to say about Jeff and his amazing staff at Detroit on the Rocks. To give some background, my fiancé and I were planning our wedding from out of state in a completely different time zone. Jeff was incredibly patient and understanding of our circumstance. We went with Detroit on the Rocks because we wanted flexible/accommodating but stress free wedding. Two things I sometimes feel are mutually exclusive, but Jeff made the impossible possible. Jeff walked us through the different options. We had the option of purchasing our own alcohol with their team to serve but he also gave us the option to purchase the alcohol for us. We personally went with the latter because this meant less planning on our end. This also allowed us to return any unopened alcohol, and all open alcohol was for us to keep. Jeff provided a very detailed list of exactly what alcohol and how much he was going to purchase. This was so helpful because my fiancé and I don’t really drink, so we’re so grateful Jeff provided clear direction/guidance! He let us make changes to the list as well. We had kids at our wedding, and we reached out to Jeff to see how we can accommodate non alcoholic drinks. He allowed us to bring in our own non alcoholic drinks to accommodate the kids. It was a hit not only with the kids but with the parents as well because they appreciated the thoughtfulness. Jeff’s team even brought a nice container to put the juice boxes on ice! Jeff’s team made sure everyone was very well hydrated at the wedding. People were able to get their drinks quickly, and everything tasted great. Jeff and his team did an awesome job for our wedding. Brenda was one of the most personable people I have ever met and she was a great addition to have at our wedding to talk with guests at the bar. We had a few issues where we had run out of alcohol but the team stepped up to replenish stock and keep the drinks flowing. There was rarely a line except for when cocktail hour had first started. Was very pleased with the team's service throughout the whole wedding. Everyone loved our signature drinks: Whiskey Sour & Blueberry Mojito, which came recommended by Jeff.

We booked Detroit on The Rocks without having any prior knowledge on bar services for weddings or anything to expect. Jeff Kurncz is who got in touch with us after we reached out. He was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and willing to accommodate anything we asked for. He also pointed out many changes we could make to save a little money. We weren’t sure how much we’d need having an adult only wedding of 160 people. He gave us assurance that we would have enough and he was right. We had 2 separate bar locations in our venue and the guests all said the staff was great. They were friendly and were nothing but smiles all night. We had absolutely no complaints throughout the process and we’re happy we chose them for our day.

They are the best!! We just had our wedding at Ypsilanti Freighthouse with Detroit on the Rocks and man did they do a great job! We did beer, wine, liquor and coffee unlimited, within a reasonable price. And lets all be real with each other, most places were upselling the crap out of poor couples this year with weddings but not Jeff. He gave me a reasonable price without the extra "service fee" of 18% at the end, which by the way brides watch out for that from some vendors and do yourself a favor and don't go with those people. Jeff and his team made our wedding the greatest. Everyone was merry from beginning to end and Ubered or Lyfted home of course. Thanks Jeff!!

Detroit on the Rocks did a great job at our wedding. Jeffrey worked with me over the course of so many emails I lost count to ensure that I was working well within my budget and also that the signature cocktails were exactly what I had in mind. I didn’t drink much as I was little busy getting married on my wedding day, but I did make a point to have all 3 of our signature cocktails and none of them disappointed! I will definitely be reaching out to Detroit on the Rocks next time I have an event that needs bartending services!

Detroit on the Rocks were 5 star from beginning to end. Really know how to plan on bartending for a large event and staff was completely professional and gracious to all our guests. We had an outdoor, backyard wedding for 200 with two bars, wine, beer, and cocktails. Jeff went out of his way to have all ingredients for “specialty” cocktails desired. We simply could not have been in better hands.

The bartenders were great from start to finish! We were worried that there would constantly be a line at the bar and, although there was, it moved quickly! We did an open bar and didn’t seem to have any issues. According to our guests, they didn’t cheap anyone out on their drink orders which is always good. Note, our wedding was 21+, which makes things easy. Detroit on the Rocks brought all the mixers, straws, garnishes, and cute add-on’s. We supplied our own alcohol, but they can provide it if desired. Be sure to confirm what size bottles you need because they bring and attach the pour spouts. The only downside is that we purchased 200 3.5" x 3.5" circle “Please don’t take my drink I’m dancing” coasters and they didn’t fit the cups. Point is, that was the worst of it, so we can’t complain!

Jeff’s team at Detroit on The Rocks is so much fun! Our guests absolutely loved our bartenders.. they were so interactive with our guests, they had fun behind the bar and served some DANG good cocktails. We did three signature drinks & offered spirits/beer/wine — ours guests loved it! Jeff’s team assisted us with berthing to stock the bar from garnishes, ice, cups etc. We wanted to purchase our own spirits/beer/wine due to our profession so Jeff provided us with a shopping list to make that happen for us. 10/10 recommend this team as your bar staff, they had everything under control and left us worry free.

Jeff and his team were outstanding! Jeff was extremely responsive with all my questions months leading up to our wedding. On the day of, they rocked it! The signature drinks were amazing! His team was professional, friendly, and a lot of fun! We forgot to get champagne flutes for the wedding party, and they ran and got some for us too. I cannot recommend Detroit On The Rocks enough! I guess we will have to have another party so we can hire them again.

WE LOVED working with Detroit on the Rocks!!! We just celebrated our wedding this past weekend and EVERYONE told us how much they enjoyed our two bar tenders Jordan & Ebony. WE LOVED them ourselves and they felt like part of the family celebrating with us! I highly recommend this team! We did signature drinks with lots of detail and this team nailed it everytime. I appreciate the patience and professionalism they had with us as we were a post poned celebrations with lots of changes. Jeff was outstanding answering all of my question along the way ( which there was alot ) they gave us a shopping list as we purchased our own booze and it worked out great! I highly recommend this team, I have now had them for my own event and have also seen them in action as a partner vendor for clients. They will be my go to every time.

We hired Detroit on the Rocks for our wedding this past weekend and they were so great to work with! Jeff was extremely kind, quick to respond, and so helpful! He went above and beyond to personalize his service specifically for us to make sure our big day was exactly what we wanted. He created a grocery list for us when we asked if we could provide our own alcohol. He was completely open to our idea of using a huge ice luge to pour drinks down. When we ran out of certain types of alcohol on our wedding night, his staff was so kind to run out to the store to get more for us! The bartenders who worked our wedding were awesome! We even received compliments from several guests about how friendly they were. We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better bartender service for our special day. We 10/10 recommend Detroit on the Rocks!!

We could not recommend Detroit On The Rocks more! Jeff was incredibly easy to work with and extremely responsive. He provided great ideas in creating our signature drinks as well as input based on our custom bar menu and guest count. The bartenders at our wedding were so friendly and personable - so many of guests have still commented on how good the service was weeks after.

Jeff and his team are the best!! They stuck with us for over two years as we planned and then replanned our wedding. The were quick to respond, so friendly, and so accommodating with every request we had… from recommendations on how much alcohol to purchase, to going out and buying more when we were running low. My family was very impressed and other couples planning their weddings took their cards! Can not recommend then highly enough!
