ight long (on a hot, humid summer day). She listened to everyone’s concerns and wishes and made them feel beautiful and comfortable in their own skin. Not to mention she is an amazing person and brings such positive energy to the wedding morning. She is easy to talk to and fast communicator before the wedding. I recommend her to all brides!!!
Justine is not only a joy to work with (so easy to talk to, positive and lighthearted) but she is also a true professional. This girl KNOWS what she’s doing!!! I ended up going mor...
e glam for my wedding day than I did at the trial and she absolutely nailed it. She addressed all of my concerns with covering up redness/acne scars while still keeping my skin natural. Not to mention the makeup lasted all night long!! I cannot recommend her enough for your wedding day!!! THANK YOU JUSTINE😊
I booked Justine for myself & 7 other ladies for my wedding in Philadelphia on 03/24/24. From the moment I booked her services to the final touch-up before walking down the aisle, ...
she exceeded every expectation and left me feeling absolutely beautiful! Justine not only possesses an extraordinary talent for makeup but also brings a level of professionalism and warmth that instantly puts you at ease. During the trial session, she took the time to listen to my preferences and concerns, and her expert advice and suggestions were invaluable in creating the perfect wedding look for me. She even went as far as to accommodate a few tweaks to my trial look on the day of. Justine worked her magic flawlessly & enhanced each of our features while ensuring that we still felt like ourselves. The result of Justine's work was a stunning bridal look that lasted throughout the entire day and looked flawless in every photograph! I received countless compliments on my makeup and had no problem touching up throughout the evening as Justine had provided each girl with a touch up kit. I cannot recommend her highly enough to any bride-to-be in search of a makeup artist who is not only exceptionally skilled but also genuinely passionate about her craft! Thank you again for making me feel so beautiful on one of the most important days of my life!
Justine did makeup on my wedding day on 12/2/23 and she KILLED IT! Her energy kept the morning going and my nerves down which is exactly what I needed. Justine did 9 of us so quick...
ly I was in shock. Justine was professional yet relatable from the time that I booked over a year in advance up until wedding day. She was responsive and meshed well with everyone on the day of you would've thought that she knew everyone for years! Some of my bridesmaids were asking Justine questions about her products and techniques and I loved that Justine didn't gatekeep. Each person had different requests and makeup styles and she catered to each person with ease. I will never stop using Justine for events, photoshoots, etc. because she is the BEST of the best.
I couldn’t have asked for a better makeup experience for my wedding day! I was a bridesmaid in a couple of weddings Justine was hired for by my best friends & I knew I had to book ...
her for my own wedding day. Her personality just makes everyone feel so at ease during an otherwise stressful & exciting day. She had to do 12 ladies in my bridal party all by herself & went SO quick! Everyone’s makeup stayed for 12+ hours & looked fresh even at the end of the night. She uses such quality makeup & made little touch-up bags for each girl in my party! I’d recommend Dettloff Makeup over & over again!!

w talented she is, she is also extremely responsiveness, kind, and funny. She fit in so well with my girls and I on my wedding morning and made us feel so at ease. My bridesmaids were in love with their looks, and one of them is even hoping to use her services for her own wedding next July. 10/10 recommend - thank you, Justine!! :)
I don’t even know where to begin this glowing review. Justine is simply the best. From the ease of booking, rescheduling with covid, to the day of the wedding-- everything was PERF...
ECT. She knows exactly what she's doing with a ton of wedding experience. She kept me on my game, asking about timeline and details when appropriate. Justine was always available to answer questions or provide recommendations. She even did a pre wedding trial for my MIL and worked which her skin sensitivities. As for the wedding day, every single person who received services expressed how much they loved Justine. Everyone loved her makeup artistry, but just as important her personality. She made the morning so fun, she fit right in with the bridal party! We were laughing, crying, but mostly crying from laughing. She has a heart of pure gold, I could not imagine my day without her. My makeup was perfect the entire night! After waiting 3 years, I danced my heart out and all my makeup was sweat proof! We even took nighttime photos at 10pm and it still looked fresh. If you are thinking about booking, DO IT NOW before someone else takes your date.
Justine is the absolute best! Unbelievably talented and so much fun to get ready with on your big day. I don't wear much makeup on a daily basis and wanted a look that was natural ...
looking but also transforming..and she nailed it. Actually, twice, as she did my makeup as a bridesmaids once before and it was perfect. The look also lasted without a single smudge until I washed my face over 24 hours later. If you're lucky enough to nab her, do it! It'll be one of the best decisions you make.

As a mom that rarely happens. She has a heart of gold and her talent is something I didn’t even know existed! My entire bridal party raved about her. I am so thankful I had her for my special day. I will always look back and remember how beautiful I felt all thanks to her!

rial. Justine more than willing to accommodate changes with Covid and was willing to help with anything and everything. I will definitely be reaching out to Justine for all my future makeup needs! She absolutely killed my wedding look and I could have been more thrilled to have her as my makeup artist. wedding day. I did not have any specific photos of what I wanted to look like and let Justine do her thing for all three occasions and she absolutely killed it!!!
Justine also did all my bridesmaids make up, my Mom and MIL and they all could not stop raving about how bomb she is and how beautiful they all looked. Everyone could not stop telling me how beautiful I looked on our big day and how I looked absolutely flawless. If if wasn’t for Justine I wouldn’t have felt and looked as good as I did on our wedding day!
Justine has such a sweet and very outgoing personality, which is what every vendor should have. She makes everyone feel so comfortable and like her best friend.
You NEED to book Justine!!!!! You can’t go wrong. If you don’t book her, then you are doing it wrong.

. On the wedding day, she felt like part of the girls hanging out, having a great time with us and even letting us use her phone to play Heads Up! Everyone's makeup was stunning and i got so many compliments throughout the night! She was so good that my mom (who had gotten her makeup done elsewhere) asked her to fix hers which she happily did! I felt absolutely beautiful on my wedding day and can't thank Justine enough! She'll always be my first call for makeup needs from now on!

her chair. She applied my make up 3 separate times : my trial, bridal shower, and day of and each look was flawless! Will absolutely hire her again for any of my make up needs.
I cannot say enough good things about Justine. She was on time, traveled from Baltimore to Ijamsville at 6AM, finished 11 people in the short time frame we had, and the makeup was ...
amazing. She did such a good job at matching each bridesmaids makeup, if a bridesmaid asked for something like a deeper lip shade than the other girls she would check with me first, she managed difficult skin flawlessly, and guests gushed over my makeup all day long. I truly cannot recommend Justine enough. She was the contour queen of my dreams!
Justine was fantastic! She did my trial, bachelorette party, and wedding, and every look was amazing! She pulled off makeup for my mom, 2 grandmothers, 5 bridesmaids and me for my ...
wedding, and everyone loved her and their makeup! I would hire her again in a heart beat! She’s super personable and funny. My makeup held up through rain, 90+ degree heat, and lasted from about 1pm till I took it off at 1am! She also did great with my grandmothers(76 and 80 years old), they could not stop talking about their makeup all night (and a week later!) 11 out of 10 for sure!! Thanks so much Justine!

whole "natural/bohemian beauty" thing is in right now and I was hoping to be more glamorous - and Justine was able to do everything perfectly. My bridesmaids also didn't have any direct requests for how they wanted to look yet she easily made them all look absolutely gorgeous. Best of all, our makeup stayed in place for the entire day, which was a muggy, humid August day. No runny mascara, falsies stayed in place, etc. Oh, and she was really fun to work with during the entire morning!
Justine did a beautiful job on myself and my 16 year old daughter for my wedding. I highly recommend her! She was great to work with and I look forward to working with her for futu...
