I'm a father of two and they've taught me many things, but the most important thing they taught me is to slow down and appreciate the moments as they're happening. This has translated into my passion for photography and I thrive on freezing in time the greater moments of our lives with my camera. I feel so lucky to be able to do what I do and help people document their story and witness so many beautiful moments of love between people. I started my photography journey in 2019 and received my BFA in Digital Photography from Arizona State University in 2022. I love what I do!

Developed Diamonds captured our wedding day perfectly through our photos and our wedding video was even better than we could have imagined. They were within our budget and the photos and video we got were amazing and of high quality. Elliot was amazing to work with for our engagement photos and wedding photos. He showed up on time and was ready to go. He was very easy to work with and came prepared with everything. He gave us a 30 minute warning before his time was up and asked if we wanted any other specific photos. He gave direction and guided us through our wedding photos. He was flexible when our wedding timeline needed to be adjusted. He did a great job with delivering our sneak peak photos within 2 days of our engagement photos and wedding photos. I am so in love with our wedding sneak peaks. I can't wait to see the rest of them. I cannot recommend him enough. I will definitely work with him again in the future!

Elliot is a very professional and friendly photographer. He makes everything so easy and takes AMAZING photos. He is very patient and laid back which helped the flow of our wedding day. He is awesome with knowing the perfect spots to get the perfect shots. He is very fast on getting sneak peaks of the photos to you and getting through large group pictures in a very timely matter. Elliot was awesome to work with! From our engagement shoot to the wedding day, the whole experience was great. He got our engagement photos back really quickly and even sent us some sneak peek photos from the wedding in less than a week. Angie was our wedding photographer and Luke was our videographer, and they both did an amazing job capturing every moment of the day.
We plan to continue using Developing Diamonds for future photography, and we would recommend them to anyone for their special day!

Elliot was absolutely amazing!! His communication was very professional and timely. He had lots of photo ideas that turned out wonderful! We even got sneak peaks between cocktail hour and dinner. He did a beautiful drone video for us as well. Everyone loved our engagement photos and wedding photos from him. His work is absolutely amazing!! We would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a photographer! We already have given his information to friends and family who loved his work! His pricing is also extremely reasonable! We were very satisfied with his work and he was very easy to work with! He is very personable and came prepared for everything! It was sprinkling during our engagement shoot so he brought beautiful clear umbrellas. There was a chance of rain for our wedding so he brought the umbrellas again and brought a fan for the heat. If you are a Type A bride and expect the same quality for details from your photographer, Elliot is the person you want to hire for your wedding! He made our engagement session so easy and carefree, it helped us with the nervousness! Our wedding day was at a beautiful outdoor venue which created some space between the bride and groom.... he was RUNNING! back and forth to prepare us both for our SEPARATE first look with our families! But not only was he the photographer, he was also our personal assistant! Helping us with our timeline, giving us a hand when both our hands were tied, and where anyone needed an extra hand, or two! Calmed me down, ensured I was ready for our first look! Throughout my whole wedding planning, all my questions were answered in a timely manner, with complete details, and NEVER sounding like he was too tired to answer, probably the same question, over and over! Elliot was truly one of my favorite vendor and also one I had my full 100% trust in and he did not fail us! A lot of our guests complimented him during and after our wedding! I would absolutely recommend him to friends and family!

We were pretty upset when we received our album of over 1500 wedding photos and only had two of my husband and I smiling at the camera at the same time. 100 kissing photos but only two of us both smiling at the camera. No bridal portraits were taken in my gown, most of my getting ready photos are of the back of my head. Family and I bridal party photos were not centered with arches or doorways. Just really upsetting and quite sloppy all around. If you want quantity over quality, you’ve found it. I sent over a list of all of the family photos we wanted done and it was never brought out which led to me, the bride, organizing who we needed for each photo. The drone footage was great but I would not have wanted it used if I knew Elliot would be busy messing with that the entire hour of our hour and a half cocktail hour and leaving the important wedding photos to his sidekick. The photos were barely edited as well. I wish I had done more research and asked for full wedding day albums, versus going off of the website with one great photo from each wedding.

Elliott did such an incredible job photographing our wedding! Elliott made the whole experience feel effortless, calm, and natural. Not only did he capture stunning photos but was incredibly personable and involved everyone - (friends, family, our puppy) in the photos so we have memories to cherish with everyone! We also really appreciated his attention to detail, from jewelry shots to venue flowers to tablescape photos. He was so efficient with time, as he ensured all the shots were captured without feeling rushed or forced. The photos are simply breathtaking and reflect our style perfectly. He has a true talent for taking creative and unique shots, which made us feel very special.
Beyond photography skills, Elliott went above and beyond in supporting us with random extra supplies (bobby pins, dress hanger, etc.) and truly helped keep the day stress-free. This level of preparedness and thoughtfulness made a world of difference during the craziness of the day. It's a hard decision choosing who to trust with capturing your special day, but we can't recommend Elliot enough to anyone. We will cherish our photos forever and are so grateful for such a wonderful experience!!!!

Hiring Elliot was, hands-down, the best decision we made while planning our elopement. We were worried he'd not want to hike with us at Starved Rock State Park after our ceremony, but he was stoked to go on the adventure with us. He got to our ceremony spot with time to spare and was able to capture us gathering our 5 witnesses and walking them to the ceremony spot. Our ceremony pictures are so emotional. Elliot has a gift for capturing the depth of emotion being felt. He got beautiful photos of us with our parents that we will treasure for the rest of our lives.
After the ceremony, we hiked for THREE HOURS!!! in and out of the canyons at Starved Rock State Park. The photos we got can only be described as fuc*ing epic. There were two canyons in particular I wanted to have photos taken and we were able to do both and so much before, after, and in between. We also got an insanely gorgeous video shot with drone footage, that we used to announce our elopement to our family and friends. We also got our sneak peaks back so fast! He was really good at directing us, especially as a couple who has never taken professional photos together before. He just made the whole process, the entire day, so much fun. We genuinely had such a great time and they are memories that we will never forget!
Elliot was on time, professional, friendly, an expert in his field, and he did an absolutely outstanding job at capturing the most magical day of our lives. I still cannot believe these are OUR wedding photos. Thank you for everything, Elliot!

We are absolutely floored with Elliot and Developing Diamonds. He has made the entire process so easy and stress free. Through scheduling (and rescheduling) our engagement session, he was beyond accommodating and understanding of the chaos that life can sometimes be. Through our engagement session, mapping out our wedding timeline, and the entire day of, he was helpful, professional, always on-time, and had a sense of calm that was so refreshing when we all know how chaotic wedding planning can be. As someone who doesn't love being in front of a camera, I was stressed about how I was going to look in the engagement photo session and after the wedding, but all I can say wow. That is not the case in these albums. He does such a great job of being efficient with photos, so much that I thought after the wedding that I didn't know if we had all the photos we wanted or if we missed a ton. Also wrong - he documented the entire day so beautifully, and in such a style that you got a sense of the feeling and emotion and excitement. It was exactly the style of photography I was looking for and he nailed it on the head. He even gave us the option of leaving an hour early because he felt like he had enough and using that time for a future family session. I cannot speak highly enough of Elliot, we treasure these pictures so much and are looking forward to working with him again.

Elliot made all of our dreams come true. His professionalism and talent does not go unnoticed. He was the first vendor we booked for our wedding before we even had a venue figured out because of how much we loved his work. He is incredibly responsive to texts and emails which is so important when planning a wedding. He was very prepared for the wedding day! Elliot was able to make sure we stayed on schedule and even moved events around when needed to get the best photos possible since our wedding was outside. He went above and beyond to make our wedding run smoothly. By the end of the night, we didn't want it to end so we even extended his services by an hour which he happily made work. We even had sneak peeks by dinner time which surprised us. We could not have asked for a better photographer for our wedding. I am recommending him to all of my friends with weddings in the future. We haven't even gotten all of our pictures back yet but I feel 100% confident in giving a 5 star review based on the experience with Elliot and the sneak peak pictures we got. Elliot was somehow everywhere all at once at our wedding and was extremely efficient with all of our family/party photos. Elliot was so extremely amazing, attentive, and completely understood what I wanted from pictures on my wedding day. My family and friends couldn't stop raving about how professional he was and how quickly he kept photos moving! As for pricing, it is very affordable (personally I think he could be charging way more) and you will get some AMAZING pictures! I got my entire wedding gallery back within 2 weeks! Absolutely incredible. He scouted out our shoot spot after a storm hit, incredible response time and turn around time but above all, just absolutely kind and you really felt like you got to know him in the time span of taking your photos. As people who have never had professional photos done and don’t like getting our photos taken at all, it was an incredible choice and we are SO glad we went with Developing Diamonds. Our family and friends loved them and couldn’t believe how well he was able to capture the moments where we were posed but it didn’t look like it. We recommend to everyone.

Book with Elliot now!! I stumbled across Developing Diamonds Photography randomly on Facebook and found myself deep diving into all of the photos. I was so impressed by the romantic look and feel and knew that was exactly what I wanted for our big day! Elliot was very responsive to all of my emails and questions. When we met for our engagement pictures even my husband, who hates pictures, had an enjoyable time. Elliot is very personable and truly gets to know you as a couple. As a wedding planner/coordinator, working with Elliot was absolutely incredible. We had a large wedding party with a lot of moving parts throughout the day. He was the solo photographer on the contract and absolutely killed it! He made sure to get every shot requested from every family member! The weather was a bit tricky, and he was sure to have clear umbrellas on hand just in case - and a white-lined clear umbrella just for the bride/groom, large enough for both of them to fit underneath. Thank goodness he did, because it started to rain just as we got onto Lambeau Field for the bridal party pictures! He edited a few photos on-site and put together a little slideshow for the clients to play at the same day at Reception prior to his departure for the evening! Absolute DIAMOND of a photographer :)

Developing diamonds was incredible to work with. I would highly recommend. All of our pictures came out PHENOMENAL! All 200+ of them. They were very easy to work with from the start. Super friendly. Elliott did all of the editing but Michael was located in IL and did the actual photography. Michael was great and easy to work with. He was able to rally all 22 of the wedding party to get the pictures done in a timely fashion. Everything was completed EARLIER than alloted for so we were able to get even more pictures in and time to relax. He took great pictures of all the details of the event. He was able to find great locations for pictures in the most random places that turned out to look amazing! He looked for opportunities for “framing” to create a very aesthetically appealing, natural look. The pictures speak for themselves. His attitude was awesome and was able to direct everyone to look their best and put them in the best position. He got gateway candids of the bride and groom and guests as well! All the pictures were completed, edited to perfection, and sent back to us within 2 weeks, which is truly incredible as I’ve heard most other photographers take MONTHS to get back. I would highly recommend this duo for everyone and their events!

Elliot is an artist! Fantastically more than a photographer. He captured the most amazing moments for us to remember forever. Our wedding was September 2023, but life has been hectic! From the initial email, to the final email, Elliot has been nothing but prompt, professional and I felt very comfortable working with him! You will NOT regret using Developing Diamonds. Elliot is truly amazing for so many different reasons! 1. We had a beautiful engagement session that we had to reschedule a couple times due to weather. Elliot was *accommodating* and we found the PERFECT day to take wintery photos. 2. During that session he was *quick* (thankfully because it was cold) and came knowing *exactly* what shots he was going for. They turned out stunning! 3. Fast forward to the wedding planning. He stayed in touch and was always *quick to respond * - a bride ALWAYS appreciates that. 4. Wedding day came and Elliot was *on time* and ran around our venue like a mad man, getting all the photos I requested plus some. 5. You know those painful 1-2 hour sessions during cocktail hour? Not a thing with Elliot! He had everyone lined up and cranked out ALL of our photos in 45 mins or less, including romantic ones of us newlyweds. 6. And lastly, he had me sneak peaks (LOVED THEM) within 3 days. I’ve heard nightmares of people waiting 3-6+ months for their photos and I’m so grateful I learned about this ahead of time and took that into consideration when picking Developing Diamonds. 10000% recommend!!
