First off, Elliot is amazing to work with! When we first reached out to him, he was very responsive! He was amazing through the whole time of working with him!
Photography was a no brainer for us, but we really wanted raw video so we could enjoy the day for the rest of our lives watching all the moments. Elliot sent over his list of services and we were able to do photo and raw video! He has a whole team, and he will send you some examples of work from different teams, so no matter the style you are looking for, you'll find it! We were super impressed by this, and grateful for the options!
Michael and Luke were there for our special day, and they were also incredible! Their energy, professionalism, and kindness made our day even more special. We genuinely made the right moves hiring them! Their style and work were amazing, and a big thank you for your positive energy and excitement on our special day. Even though it was a rainy one, that did not dim their spirits. Thank you both for powering through the sprinkles to get the best shots for our day!

Developing Diamonds Photography LLC offers different photography packages so couples can decide what suits them best. I'm a father of two and they've taught me many things, but the most important thing they taught me is to slow down and appreciate the moments as they're happening. This has translated into my passion for photography and I thrive on freezing in time the greater moments of our lives with my camera. I feel so lucky to be able to do what I do and help people document their story and witness so many beautiful moments of love between people. I started my photography journey in 2019 and received my BFA in Digital Photography from Arizona State University in 2022. I love what I do!

was a chatty group and Elliot kept us moving and got all the photos - plus some! He had fun ideas and caught a ton of candid photos throughout the night. Our engagement session was also amazing and he really captured us and our story well. He is so chill and funny and had everything. you could need on your wedding day. He could just tell when I was getting warm and would bring out a fan. He also had stain remover when the bottom of my dress got dirty before the ceremony. ng day. He was incredibly flexible and captured all of the little details without us ever having to ask. We were also so impressed with how quickly we received our sneak peeks, and having our full gallery delivered in a timely manner was amazing.
One thing that really stood out to us was his kindness. We ended up not being able to have a videographer, so he set up his phone to record our ceremony so we would still have that memory to look back on. It was such a thoughtful gesture that meant so much to us.

He is also incredibly well priced (we were on a budget and his rates much lower than many other companies we looked at), without sacrificing quality. To me, anyone can take a photo, but a good photographer is someone who nails the angles and lighting and so on to give that flawless photo feel, and Elliot crushed it. Over 50 sneak peak photos were back to us less than a week after our wedding, and they all look incredible. And ask him about his drone footage if weather allows (coolest thing ever)! He was super flexible with our schedule and caught some absolutely perfect views in such a time crunch. 12/10 will go back to him if we ever need photos taken again, and I will recommend him to anyone who asks. He was flexible when our wedding timeline needed to be adjusted. He did a great job with delivering our sneak peak photos within 2 days of our engagement photos and wedding photos. easy and carefree, it helped us with the nervousness! Our wedding day was at a beautiful outdoor venue which created some space between the bride and groom.... he was RUNNING! back and forth to prepare us both for our SEPARATE first look with our families! But not only was he the photographer, he was also our personal assistant! Helping us with our timeline, giving us a hand when both our hands were tied, and where anyone needed an extra hand, or two! Calmed me down, ensured I was ready for our first look! Throughout my whole wedding planning, all my questions were answered in a timely manner, with complete details, and NEVER sounding like he was too tired to answer, probably the same question, over and over! Elliot was truly one of my favorite vendor and also one I had my full 100% trust in and he did not fail us! A lot of our guests complimented him during and after our wedding! I would absolutely recommend him to friends and family!

two of us both smiling at the camera. No bridal portraits were taken in my gown, most of my getting ready photos are of the back of my head. Family and I bridal party photos were not centered with arches or doorways. Just really upsetting and quite sloppy all around. If you want quantity over quality, you’ve found it. I sent over a list of all of the family photos we wanted done and it was never brought out which led to me, the bride, organizing who we needed for each photo. The drone footage was great but I would not have wanted it used if I knew Elliot would be busy messing with that the entire hour of our hour and a half cocktail hour and leaving the important wedding photos to his sidekick. The photos were barely edited as well. I wish I had done more research and asked for full wedding day albums, versus going off of the website with one great photo from each wedding.

incredibly personable and involved everyone - (friends, family, our puppy) in the photos so we have memories to cherish with everyone! We also really appreciated his attention to detail, from jewelry shots to venue flowers to tablescape photos. He was so efficient with time, as he ensured all the shots were captured without feeling rushed or forced. The photos are simply breathtaking and reflect our style perfectly. He has a true talent for taking creative and unique shots, which made us feel very special.
Beyond photography skills, Elliott went above and beyond in supporting us with random extra supplies (bobby pins, dress hanger, etc.) and truly helped keep the day stress-free. This level of preparedness and thoughtfulness made a world of difference during the craziness of the day. It's a hard decision choosing who to trust with capturing your special day, but we can't recommend Elliot enough to anyone. We will cherish our photos forever and are so grateful for such a wonderful experience!!!!

but he was stoked to go on the adventure with us. He got to our ceremony spot with time to spare and was able to capture us gathering our 5 witnesses and walking them to the ceremony spot. Our ceremony pictures are so emotional. Elliot has a gift for capturing the depth of emotion being felt. He got beautiful photos of us with our parents that we will treasure for the rest of our lives.
After the ceremony, we hiked for THREE HOURS!!! in and out of the canyons at Starved Rock State Park. The photos we got can only be described as fuc*ing epic. There were two canyons in particular I wanted to have photos taken and we were able to do both and so much before, after, and in between. We also got an insanely gorgeous video shot with drone footage, that we used to announce our elopement to our family and friends. We also got our sneak peaks back so fast! He was really good at directing us, especially as a couple who has never taken professional photos together before. He just made the whole process, the entire day, so much fun. We genuinely had such a great time and they are memories that we will never forget!
Elliot was on time, professional, friendly, an expert in his field, and he did an absolutely outstanding job at capturing the most magical day of our lives. I still cannot believe these are OUR wedding photos. Thank you for everything, Elliot!

he was beyond accommodating and understanding of the chaos that life can sometimes be. Through our engagement session, mapping out our wedding timeline, and the entire day of, he was helpful, professional, always on-time, and had a sense of calm that was so refreshing when we all know how chaotic wedding planning can be. As someone who doesn't love being in front of a camera, I was stressed about how I was going to look in the engagement photo session and after the wedding, but all I can say wow. That is not the case in these albums. He does such a great job of being efficient with photos, so much that I thought after the wedding that I didn't know if we had all the photos we wanted or if we missed a ton. Also wrong - he documented the entire day so beautifully, and in such a style that you got a sense of the feeling and emotion and excitement. It was exactly the style of photography I was looking for and he nailed it on the head. He even gave us the option of leaving an hour early because he felt like he had enough and using that time for a future family session. I cannot speak highly enough of Elliot, we treasure these pictures so much and are looking forward to working with him again.

out because of how much we loved his work. He is incredibly responsive to texts and emails which is so important when planning a wedding. He was very prepared for the wedding day! Elliot was able to make sure we stayed on schedule and even moved events around when needed to get the best photos possible since our wedding was outside. He went above and beyond to make our wedding run smoothly. By the end of the night, we didn't want it to end so we even extended his services by an hour which he happily made work. We even had sneak peeks by dinner time which surprised us. We could not have asked for a better photographer for our wedding. I am recommending him to all of my friends with weddings in the future. I can't imagine my wedding any other way. Thank you Elliot!

ot was somehow everywhere all at once at our wedding and was extremely efficient with all of our family/party photos. We loved that he had a drone to take a little video while we did outdoor pictures too. Great quality and vibe, especially for the very fair pricing for 8hrs of pictures. We look forward to working with him again in the future!

al he was and how quickly he kept photos moving! As for pricing, it is very affordable (personally I think he could be charging way more) and you will get some AMAZING pictures! I got my entire wedding gallery back within 2 weeks! I truly, truly cannot recommend Elliot enough. He went above and beyond for my wedding and I just am so very impressed with him and his work and communication and just overall everything!!!

As people who have never had professional photos done and don’t like getting our photos taken at all, it was an incredible choice and we are SO glad we went with Developing Diamonds. Our family and friends loved them and couldn’t believe how well he was able to capture the moments where we were posed but it didn’t look like it. We recommend to everyone.
