Devina is a sweet, kind, and very creative florist! I hired her several months before my wedding. At that time, I wasn’t sure what I wanted. But she patiently brainstormed with me and gave me few beautiful ideas. So when I finally decided that I wanted a colorful and vibrant springy flowers - she was able to deliver that on our wedding day! My husband and I got tons of compliments from people after the wedding. Our guests love love LOVE how she arranged and designed my ceremony area. Our pictures looked incredibly beautiful. I was low-key terrified that it will be too much of colors - but the flower she chose were perfect match for our bridesmaids dresses and for our wedding theme. She definitely made our wedding extra magical and enchanted! We also had a tight budget for florals and yet Devina was able to make it work☺️ So if you need a florist, don’t hesitate to hire Devina! She is a hardworking, professional, and she responds quickly! 10/10 I would totally recommend her! ✨ PS. I absolutely love her more when I saw one of my bouquet pictures and it was shaped like a heart😍 I didn’t ask her to do that - she did that by herself - and I love it so much! It looked so beautiful! The other one star review is something I wish I had seen sooner because I went through a very similar situation with Devina. Unfortunately, where our situations differ is Devina was a friend of my moms, one she spoke highly of, of being so “nice” and a “good worker” in the other career Devina has aside from a aspiring florist. Because that is what I would call her, aspiring. She she not be one after the experience I had with her. From day one, I voiced to Devina that I was not a big fan of roses which she said she understood and we talked of a million different flower choices that I would love. Which was basically anything and everything, but roses. When I arrived on the day of my wedding, I was horrified to find not a single other flower choice chosen for ever since detail, but roses. Every arrangement, the flower arches I wanted, and extra details were roses. And dead roses at that. My arrangement that I dreamed off was anything but a nightmare because it was dead, white roses. I paid to have a company press them the day after my wedding to make a piece of art for my home and I didn’t even end up sending them because I didnt want that in my home. Prior to the wedding, I had made and discussed a vision board for Devina, made countless outlines to detail exactly what I needed for flower arrangements and details on the day of and she kept saying that we were on the same page. I had a gut feeling the entire year we planned that it was not going to be what I wanted it to so I kept checking in with her and she continued to reassure me that it was going to be exactly as I imagined and more and to “trust her.” About 6 months before our wedding, she started changing my payment plan to be sooner and sooner, blaming it on her website getting updated. And being the trusting person I am, I venmoed her these last final payments. She also kept asking for more money for some of my details as she had “big plans” for them and wanted to add more flowers and some of her own details. So I willingly gave her more money when she asked. When I got to my wedding, half of the details we discussed weren’t even there and I kid you not, about $200 worth of flowers if that (and they were dead let me remind you). I know this because I DIY’d my bridal shower flowers and had far more. Devina showed up with a single bucket on the day of with flowers and that’s it. My sweetheart table had two sprigs of babys breath on it and that’s it. My coordinator ended up running next door to the flower shop and getting a bunch more flowers to fill in Devinas poor work and spruce up all of my arrangements to make it look like she did anything. After the wedding, I expressed my thoughts to Devina about her poor work and she apologized and offered me a refund which I was pleased to hear about. Since she has offered, I have had to reach out about it and she first offered me my last payment of $310 back and then quickly changed it to $200 back (my friends and family discount that I payed far more in additions along the way when she kept asking me for more money). I’m not sure if Devina is going through something financially or personally but I beg of you, do not work with her. She should not be doing flowers for a living, let along running her own business. She was so unprofessional through the entire process and I do not want to see this happen to anyone else. I posted some texts regarding the “refund” that I will still probably never see.

Devina from Devine Floral Design was an absolute dream to work with. We booked with her more than a year out from our wedding, and she had no problems answering questions/brainstorming ideas with us even many months out. She's so incredibly sweet and so easy to work with! On the day of our wedding, my wife and I's jaw dropped to the floor when we saw how our venue was decorated. We got married at The Woodshed Venue in Vista, and she really helped enhance the beauty of our venue. We cannot recommend Devina enough for all the hard work she put into our special day!
