r my wedding in Anna Marie island in July . It went from a ‘ I’m flexible with payment plans , we trust each other’ to I the bride am in breach of a contract that was never signed according to our payment plan we had in place, because of the lack of care towards us as a whole . I asked numerous times to get the mock up for our reception that was OFFERED as part of the service , excuse after excuse every week on why the mock up couldn’t be done . I’ve been more than comprehensive but today was enough for me, I got messaged about color napkins and I clearly stated I will not be paying the remainder of July 1st balance unless I am shown a mock up , I was getting the sense it was a con artist or an unprofessional person running this company being that they changed their words up until today. Therefore I stated I would be sending my remaining payment today after they show me the mock up I was promised . I am attaching screenshots of how this business has treated me & to how unprofessional Patricia has been in regards to refunding me . She offered to refund me if I was uncomfortable waiting for her a couple days ago but today she stated she never said she’d refund me which clearly you can see in the screenshots ! DELUSIONAL . Then switched it to saying she’d refund me 100 , have still not received anything . Please BEWARE OF WHO YOU DO BUSINESS WITH . If this was a birthday party I wouldn’t be as hurt but this is my WEDDING / I’ve waited so long for this and now we are left with no mock up , no money we paid her & no time to find someone else to do our wedding decor . You REAP WHAT YOU SOW , have the day you deserve to have . Telling a customer you assume I don’t do work for free & to not expect free work is insane considering you have 250$ of our money and you couldn’t even take the time to slap some decorations on a table and take pictures .
We worked with Dev-It events for our wedding in Tampa, May 2023, for catering and decor. The team made us feel comfortable and confident in all that they were vested with and worke...
d diligently in the days leading up to, and day of the event. Patricia and John really do care about the success of your event and will do the best they can for you. We appreciated all the suggestions, bits of advice, and flexibility offered by Dev-It, Patricia, and her team. Patricia, John and the whole Dev-It team are amazing and I would highly recommend them.
Our wedding was June 3, 2023 and we hired this company for coordination with the use of their decorations. Our experience with Patricia was not what we hoped for at all. She was no...
t organized, did not communicate well at all with my vendors and she decorated to the minimum. I understood well that we would use the decorations she had available, but at the day of, the ceremony aisles were not decorated at all, only the arch was. The reception area was not as we invisioned. I had sent her inspiration pictures and asked if she was able to do similiar with fake florals and with the use of her candle holders. We discussed the card box and she forgot that too. She wrote all down in a notebook and then kept asking questions over and over via text. Our mock up session never really happened, she simply sent me texts with photos. As you know, photos do not show true colors. And this happened the week of the wedding. She was supposed to get the floor plan to the venue, but didn't until the day before the walk through with only a two hours for the venue to get it ready before they closed for the day. We had discussed her covering the benches outside, but that didn't happen either. None of the vendors knew what the other was suppose to do. The coordination just really didn't happen. So sad, we waited 24 years for our day and expected more help from Dev-it Wedding and Events, especially with all the great reviews. I guess it all depends on how much services you hire them for and how much attention you will get. I expect a quick snap back on this comment, because attitude is given pretty quick. I tried to stay positive and did not lose my cool. We enjoyed our day and kept it moving.

She and her team give 100% to her brides and their families and friends. The welcome party was so beautiful and so much fun ( it completely surpassed my expectations). My family and friends are still talking about it and the wedding. Look no further for a caring and creative team who will work completely within your budget and still blow your mind with the results!

She offers desserts; decor and florals so that you are dealing with one person rather than 3 different vendors. Her prices are very fair. She actually gave us a credit because the flowers cost less than anticipated…who does that? Tabitha was wonderful…stood by the bride 24/7.

Of all the investments that we made towards our wedding (and perhaps ever), Patricia was the best. We feel that this is the beginning of a lifelong friendship with her. Not only di...
d she take the time to build rapport with us, but she was honest, dependable, consistently hard-working, and genuinely enthusiastic about playing a role in our wedding. My husband and I both had very demanding schedules, and she accommodated us effortlessly. She took a very active role from the beginning of our planning, notifying us what we needed to do and when. She reached out to vendors on our behalf, even defending us at one point when we were wrongly charged extra for something that was never mentioned in the contract. We also started our wedding planning very late (a few months before our wedding), and Patricia helped us worked through all the glitches and the stress that came with this. This business means more to her than meets the eye.
She treated us as if we were part of her family, and it was evident that our wedding was very important to her. She worked with us and our budget, making sure everything was as beautiful and elegant as possible while acknowledging if a given item or decoration didn’t provide value matching the cost. If I had to do my wedding all over again, the only thing I would change is hiring her sooner than I did. I was able to be open up with her, share my ideas and thoughts without any worry that she would react negatively or defensively. She was very selfless in her pursuit of a wonderful wedding for us, and we will forever be grateful. She also has great taste in decoration and pursued the romantic, elegant, timeless style that we were looking for. I don’t think we could have pulled off this beautiful day without her.
If you are planning your wedding, do NOT hesitate to hire Patricia. Truly. I promise you will be happy you did.

em, Patricia started working with us to set up meetings with vendors and work out a general idea of what needed to be done. She handled everything before the wedding and the day-of with ease. Patricia chose the perfect decorations for our wedding and she worked tirelessly with us on every decision. They also provided our meals for guests, our cocktail hour food, the bar, and our wedding cake plus desserts! Patricia seamlessly navigated us through the day and let us focus on ourselves and our guests. The day was absolutely perfect and it was a real pleasure working with their company.
