I worked with Kate from Devon & Pinkett for my wedding this past July. Our vision for the wedding was wild and romantic garden vibes and Kate’s team executed this vision SO perfectly, better than I could’ve ever imagined. She stuck with my budget and helped me make adjustments along the way to assure that I would stay on track. Communication could have been better at times during the planning process but the final product did not suffer. They were totally on top of it the day of and remembered every detail I had asked for. They set up all of our personal items and decorations as well, and delivered everything back to my parents’ after the wedding, along with ALL of the flowers for a brunch the next day. If you are looking for a tasteful, creative, and reasonably priced florist who will just get your vision to a tee AND surpass it, Devon & Pinkett is the one for you.

Kate and her team were superb at connecting with the vision my daughter in law and her mom had for an amazing Philly wedding this past weekend. She was completely respectful of the budget and made every element count. She had a beautiful mix of high and low arrangements, beautiful color awareness and a way of making the whole vibe of a city wedding warm and lovely. She was flexible, easy to work with, warm and understanding of specific requests. Kate could not have done anything more to make our wedding as beautiful as possible. We were incredibly fortunate to have her artistry make our wedding absolutely GORGEOUS. Can't say enough about this florist...

Devon & Pinkett did a great job with our wedding flowers and we were so happy with how our flowers tied our entire look together! Kate was very patient with us, meeting multiple times over Zoom during the pandemic to make sure we got exactly what we were picturing. She made several custom items including a beautiful ceremony arch with our wedding flowers, a custom guest seating board in rose gold, and multiple cocktail hour signs to match our flowers. She also helped us coordinate bring some flowers to our brunch the next day and donating most of our flowers after our event. We had a great experience all around and would definitely recommend!!

Kate is amazing and so sweet to work with. She totally understood my vibe I was looking to do and took the time to talk with me multiple times throughout the process to make sure we were still on the same page. She was so amazing to work with despite changing our wedding plans multiple times due to Covid. I got so many compliments on the flowers she used for my wedding and couldn’t be happier that we hired to work with her. Definitely recommend Devon and Pinkett to anyone looking for a very creative florist to work with!

Katie made all of our florals look amazing and beautiful....beyond expectation. From Day 1 to the big day, she was just such a pleasure and easy to work with. We showed her our color pallet, and some flowers and ideas that we had wanted for our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception and she took our ideas to a whole new level. She made arrangements and centerpieces even more beautiful then we had envisioned. I had no worries at all the day of! Katie and her team took care of ever little detail when setting up our venue and also took care of gathering all of our decor after everything was finished! Katie is amazing to work with, and I highly recommend using her for any of your floral needs.

Devon & Pinkett did a phenomenal job with our wedding flowers and far exceeded our expectations! We submitted our ideas via photos online and they completely came to life. The most impressive was a greenery installation along the ceiling of the dance floor - we got so many compliments with how good it look. They took our rustic vibe and really ran with it (but kept it simple as we asked). Would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for an awesome florist with good style!

Planning a wedding remotely can be difficult, particularly when you struggle to articulate the vision in your head. Neither my husband nor I is extremely artistic, and our ability to describe what florals we wanted mostly consisted of saving random photos on pinterest and hoping our wedding planner and florist could make sense of why we liked each disparate image. When we picked Kate from a great group of florists recommended by our wedding planner, we did it because we felt like she was truly an artist, and that we’d be safest just trusting her to create something beautiful. In the end, there’s no question we made the right decision. The flowers were beautiful; despite my favorite flower (peonies) not being available in January, Kate created beautiful bouquets and centerpieces while staying within our budget. Her floral arrangements popped. Rather than simply blending into the background, her florals were bright, warm, and fun and set the perfect mood for our wedding. Where Kate blew us away was with our escort card display. At our one in-person meeting, she’d taken a bunch of random ideas that my husband and I threw out and sketched something that looked promising right on the spot. My husband in particular didn’t quite see where she was going with it, but we ultimately decided to just let her run with it, and the result had us speechless on our wedding day. What she created not only matched our vision, but went above and beyond, including little details we never could have imagined and tying everything together beautifully. The day itself was so hectic that we barely got to thank her, but I still remember seeing her smiling face and giving her a hug when we arrived at the venue and just feeling so grateful and lucky that we’d trusted her to do her thing.

Kate did the flowers and event design for my wedding and she truly made my dreams come true. In looking at the photos, the flowers made the wedding. I'm so so grateful for her and her incredible work. She is also just the sweetest person, and an absolute joy to work with.

Kate was so, so wonderful to work with, especially as two people with strong tastes but who don’t know the first thing about flowers. Day of, she created the most beautiful designs—I still can’t stop staring at the photos of our chuppah, bouquets, and candlelit table arrangements. She was flexible about meeting in person, responsive over email, and patient even when I couldn’t figure out Pinterest :) Her work speaks for itself but even better she is thoughtful, creative, and kind!

Kate was wonderful to work with and helped in coordinating all the details from invitations to place cards to favors! She understood my daughter’s vision from the very beginning and did not disappoint! The bouquets,table, hanging, fireplace flower arrangements were all beautiful!!! I would not have changed a thing! She was always very responsive to any emails or phone calls!

Five stars are not enough to give Kate and her amazing company, Devon and Pinkett. Not only were Kate’s floral designs spectacular , she took the time to really understand our vision and to add in touches that made my daughter’s wedding truly one of a kind. Kate and her team had three reception spaces as well as a ceremony site to decorate for the wedding and all were executed flawlessly . Kate was also a sympathetic ear and took over on additional details such as working with our venue on our floor plan and ordering linens, signage and favors when the planning got overwhelming. She is a true gem and an extraordinary talent. The best!

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!! Our wedding was May 5,2018 and we used Devon and Pinkett for our flowers, centerpieces, signs, etc. From start to finish Katie was absolutely AMAZING! She is a breeze to work with and truly loves what she does! I never had to worry about anything! Her passion for her work showed throughout our entire venue from the ceremony room to the the reception room! The greenery and floral arrangements were STUNNING! If you love lush greenery and gorgeous flowers, AND are looking for the most INCREDIBLE floral designer / person on the planet, you would be absolutely insane to not hire Kate. Kate was actually the last vendor that I hired, after meeting with so, so many others. The second that I stepped foot into her studio I knew that we were going to hit it off and that she was going to totally get the aesthetic that I was looking for. It was almost as if I didn’t have to tell her what I wanted, she just knew based on how I was describing the vibe that I wanted my wedding to have. Flowers were where I really splurged, they can make or break a wedding in my opinion - but Kate is also so beyond creative in working within a budget. Not only did I swoon over every single detail, the weather reports lied to us and as soon as the cocktail reception was over it started to drizzle. Our dance floor was supposed to be outside, under the stars, surrounded by some incredible votives and greenery set up by Kate - but without one single person noticing, Kate along with my amazing wedding coordinator went into the tent and had to re-organize tables to accommodate for an indoor dance floor (with a band) but NO ONE ever noticed. Every SINGLE detail was EXACTLY what I had imagined in my mind, actually it surpassed all that I could have imagined. On top of the stunning bouquets, floral arrangements, the 4-table long suspended greenery, the swags on the chairs & on the bars, and so many other details… I got to have KATE! Picking a vendor that you love, that you would be friends with regardless, that you trust with every single fiber in your body is so important, and that is exactly who she is. There is no way that I would have ever been this happy if I were to have gone with another floral designer. I couldn’t recommend anyone else but Kate, you would be insane not to hire her.

Kate is so talented! Devon & Pinkett was recommended to us by our wedding planner and we couldn’t have been happier. We only met with Kate once at our venue, but she instantly nailed our vision. Kate really excels at: 1) Working with venue features: she created a beautiful archway piece to highlight the architecture and a lovely hanging arrangement that transitioned from ceremony to reception 2) Props and styling: we had a smaller floral budget, so she utilized props and candles to maximize our sexy vibe 3) Contemporary aesthetic: Kate creates beautiful arrangements that are modern and fresh, but still feel timeliness

Kate is floral genius. Our wedding planner suggested that we have Kate do our wedding flowers, and I am so glad that she did! Just take a look at Devon & Pinkett's Instagram, and you will see why. I don't know much about flowers, so we didn't give her too many specifications with what we wanted. However, she was very open to collaboration and anything specific if we did want that. We basically knew we wanted a warm color palette of peach, orange, ivory, and burgundy, as well as a lot of greenery. We totally trusted Kate to create something gorgeous, and she absolutely did. I am still swooning over all of the pictures of the bouquets and centerpieces! And on a personal note, Kate is incredibly professional and kind. She was an absolute pleasure to work with, and her gorgeous floral creations were an instrumental part of what made our wedding so beautiful and perfect!

Kate was so great throughout the planning/execution of our wedding. The flowers and decorations were absolutely perfect. And perhaps even more importantly, Kate was just so great to work with. She was receptive to our ideas and was excited to bring everything to life. She is definitely an incredibly talented and honestly just a great person! Hire Kate Farley Design! If you are looking for a unique take on florals and decor, she is your girl. From our very first meeting, Kate blew me away. She is kind, professional and has an eye for detail. I shared with her my vision which was a modern take on a classic, Downtown Philadelphia wedding. This was not an easy task as I wished to incorporate jumbo balloons and candles in addition to your traditional floral centerpieces. Kate was able to deliver on this while also providing table numbers and easels for signage. She is truly a genius and the best at what she does and I received a million compliments as a result of her unbelievable work. Thank you Kate and team! You made my day so incredibly special!

We are so happy to have found Kate for our wedding. Not only is she super sweet, but she is truly amazing at her job. She was great with communication leading up the wedding, and was able to work with last minute changes (i.e. adding on a boutenniere the morning of the wedding!) without hesitation. I had full faith in her and knew she'd be amazing, but she totally outdid my already high expectations! The bouquets were stunning and the table centerpieces looked like they were straight out of a photoshoot - she knew exactly what I wanted. Kate did the bouquets for our wedding and they were absolutely stunning. She really went above and beyond! Kate was friendly, attentive, and collaborative. We talked about things I did and didn't like and she just got it. She easily worked within our budget range and had creative ideas to maximize our spend. She also sources her flowers and materials thoughtfully and sustainably. Kate's style is more boho and organic than traditional or classic. She used a variety of flowers to make different arrangements/bouquets for everyone (per my request) and nailed it. Every one was unique but they still all worked well together. The colors were gorgeous and every single flower was at its peak. My bouquet was the prettiest I've ever seen.

After seeing Kate's work on Style Me Pretty, I called her, expecting her work to be totally out of my budget. (It was just that amazing.) In our first conversation, Kate asked my budget and said she'd make it work. I was thrilled. But I had no idea how thrilled I was going to become! My color palette changed a bit halfway through the planning stages. I realized that while I wanted lavender in my designs, I was hoping for something brighter to augment the lavender (instead of ivories and blushes), leaning more toward bright fuchsias, purples, corals, blues and light pinks. Kate totally nailed it and seemed to have fun with my new palette. I gave her pretty free reign...looking at her portfolio I knew I was going to love anything and everything she created...so I had complete trust. She designed my bouquet, two bridesmaids, three corsages, five bouts, 15 centerpieces, a chuppah, two garlands and 10 hanging flower arrangements lining the ceremony aisle. (And it all was within budget!) The results: OMG. Totally obsessed. My bouquet was to die for. Gigantic, romantic, flowing, tons of texture...everything I had hoped for and more. Kate also designed a chuppah for our ceremony with a garland that I wish I could have stood under forever--playing off my bouquet, bridesmaids' bouquets and the reception centerpieces. Kate designed three different centerpiece styles for the reception, though each of the 15 pieces were unique. Kate will pick up the flowers after the event, or you can arrange to take everything home (get to love it all a little longer) and return the compotes at a later date. Kate is so flexible, so professional and her work is unbelievable. Check out her Instagram to see what I mean. She completely made my wedding better and more gorgeous than I could have dreamed.
