So happy with Devoted Studios! They perfectly matched the makeup inspo I showed them and I felt so beautiful. They also showed me different hair options during my trial so I found the perfect option. I had the best experience with the Devotion team for my hair and makeup for my wedding this September. I had a large group which included 7 bridesmaids, my mom, my mother-in-law, 2 aunts, and my grandmother who all got both hair and makeup done. They prepared with 2 makeup artists, and 2 hair stylists to get the job done by 1:00pm. They were efficient, quick, while still making us all feel pampered all morning. They were professional, but also personable which I appreciate. Tamara and Nicole F. did our hair and everyone’s hair turned out amazing and held up all night during the wedding. Nicole P and Taylor did our makeup and my favorite thing about Devotion is how they create a natural glam look! I mean it when I say they were quick and without losing quality! I got the honor of having my hair done by Tamara. We had trialed my hair one way and then I wanted a few minor changes done before we started the morning of my wedding and she was so flexible and delivered my vision perfectly! Taylor did my makeup and I LOVED how it turned out. I felt beautiful but still like myself which was so important since I don’t wear a ton of makeup day to day. Taylor also was so patient and kind with me when I was starting to stress and feel nervous. I was thankful for that. I highly recommend Devotion Studio for all your hair and makeup needs.

Devotion Studio nailed the prompt! Kirsten was easy to work with to get everything setup, and our four stylists (Nicole P, Nicole F, Sara & Natale) dolled everyone up in all the right ways! Hair and makeup lasted well over 12 hours and didn't feel caked on or over the top. I couldn't have asked for a better experience.

Devotion Studio did my bridal hair and makeup for my outdoor summer wedding on Sonoma Mountain. I wanted something that felt glowing and natural and not heavily made-up, and they hit the nail on the head. My hair, in particular, was one of the most beautiful parts of the day—a lush fishtail braid with maidenhair ferns and flowers woven into it. It looked like a hanging garden. And it held up through lots of dancing and twirling!

The team at Devotion Studio did an amazing job on hair and makeup for our wedding! Tamra did hair and Natale did makeup for me, my sisters, niece, mom, and mother-in-law for our micro-wedding on the Sonoma Coast. Tamra listened carefully to what each of us wanted for our hair and completely delivered. After my preview makeup appointment I decided I wanted a more “natural” look and Natale did an incredible job making my vision a reality. In addition, both Tamara and Natale were such a pleasure to chat with on the wedding morning – they brought a fun, relaxed energy that perfectly suited our small family wedding. I booked the elopement package for my summer 2024 wedding in Sonoma County. Kirsten quickly responded to my inquiry and got on a phone call with me to help me decide on services and advice on when to book. In that initial conversation, I knew that she was personable, kind, honest, and looked out for her team, all things I valued. I knew then I would go with Devotion Studio. I opted for the elopement package because I didn’t have a bridal party. Despite not having a formal bridal party, Kirsten and Addy made me feel like a total queen. I note this because I was initially anxious about our wedding in booking vendors (e.g., ‘would they think less of me because I’m not having my wedding at a vineyard/don’t have a bridal party/etc’), and those worries never crossed my mind when working with Kirsten and Addy. I had already booked a makeup preview and closer to my wedding date, I asked if there was space to have a hair preview too. Kirsten and Addy were able to make it work and I was able to have both a hair and makeup preview. My preview was two days prior to the wedding because my partner and I traveled to his hometown to get married. The day before my preview I added a ‘plan b hair option’ to my inspiration photos in case my hair wasn’t long enough to do what I wanted. When I met Addy, she said, “Let’s try plan A first. There are lots of ways to make this work.” And she did! When I saw my hair and makeup at my preview, I said “I can’t believe I look like this!” Not that I didn’t look like me, but I felt like Addy made me look the best version of me. She truly nailed the sophisticated yet whimsical and not stuffy vibe I wanted. Throughout the preview, she would check in with me to see what I liked/didn’t. Addy was a true gem to work with. She was professional and kind, and unbelievably patient wedding day (our wedding was less structured than most). My hair and make up lasted all day and past the after party! I have zero regrets booking with Devotion Studio and feel like I got everything I wanted and more. Highly recommend them for on-site beauty squad! Working with Kirsten at Devotion was great! They are organized and timely with their responses. They were flexible with a lot minute location change and their stylists made us all look amazing on my wedding day. Everyone's hair and make up lasted beautify despite it being a windy day. Devotion studio styled my bridesmaid’s hair and makeup for my wedding and they did an amazing job. Chyrel and Heather are incredible artists and stylists and a joy to work with. They were very professional and did a great job with the range of hair types and skin tones in my bridal party. They were also incredible and patient with managing my party starting late due to a member of the party breaking her leg the night before. They helped us keep a positive attitude and still finished in time. I also want to add that while I didn’t work with Kirsten directly, she was super organized and one of the easiest and most joyful vendors to coordinate with leading up to the wedding. If I ever have a need to hire hair and makeup artists again in the future I would look no further than hiring Devotion studio again and again! Thank you for everything 🙏❤️

Kirsten and Adeline from Devotion Studio were an absolute pleasure to work with! They did my hair and makeup for my wedding day, along with my mom and sister. We were all really happy with the result and their professional work! Our makeup lasted all night! Adeline did an amazing job creating a colorful and fun look for my sister that wasn't even planned, and she knocked it out of the park. Kirsten worked with me on my hair, giving me two looks: an updo for the ceremony and hair down for the reception. She was especially awesome in helping me with my unique veil request - my veil was especially heavy and long, and Kirsten handled it like a pro, even using a zip tie to secure it! They were both kind, skilled, and I would highly recommend them!

I can't say enough good things about working with Devotion Studio! We had a belated wedding celebration with our friends in October and I couldn't imagine our special day without Kirsten/Devotion Studio. Not only was she super flexible and professional when it came to scheduling and communicating, she also felt like having another friend there that day getting ready with us. We had about 20 or so ladies in a room as we were getting ready - playing games, being rowdy, etc. and Kirsten didn't miss a beat. Kirsten and her team were absolutely on my wedding day. I had a large bridal party (9 bridesmaids and MOB/MOG) and she came up with a schedule to fit exactly what we needed. Shalice is INCREDIBLY talented at make-up, especially if you want an elevated, more natural look. Everyone loved their hairstyles and were able to get something personalized that made them feel beautiful that day. The styles also lasted throughout the entire day, very impressive considering the levels of dancing. Highly recommend this team, nothing but a positive experience.

Dream Team! Hired Devotion Studio for my hair and make-up for my wedding just over a month ago for myself, my bridesmaids and mom. I have a lot of frizzy, "unmanageable" hair. In fact, I call it "the beast". Well, Kristen sure tamed the beast! I was worried about my up-do falling out, but nope! Stayed all night! I also cannot say enough about our make-up artist, Shalice. My makeup looked soooo good and again, stayed throughout the reception. I'm not big on makeup. I only wear it for special occasions, so I wanted a natural glam look and she killed it!

Kirsten was the sweetest to work with! She provided bridal and bridal party hair and we were all SO pleased with the outcome. She understood our vibe immediately and got to work. We didn't need to make any adjustments.

I only have amazing things to say about Devotion Studio. I was in a pinch and had requested bridal party hair appointments with only two weeks notice. Kirsten and Sara did everything in their power to squeeze us in, and I believe they even had bridal hair appointments before and after mine. Kirsten gave clear instructions on what to do to prepare to ensure the best possible results (i.e., clean and dry hair). We shared our inspiration photos and ideas and they quickly made magic happen. I highly recommend their services!

Kirsten and Jenny made my wedding beautiful. They are both so kind, nice, and thoughtful in the work they provide for the Bride and other beauty ladies. I met Kirsten and Jenny at my trail a few months before my wedding. I wanted an elevated version of myself in terms of make up, and Jenny knew exactly what to do. My hair has a history of never holding a curl, Kirsten provided some hair product suggestions which I immediately began using and noticed a difference. She also suggested hair extensions to help my already long hair hold a curl. The extensions were a perfect match to my natural hair color. My hair which has never held a curl in its life was curled the entire evening! Pure magic. The braid work in addition to the curls held up all evening and into the next morning. My makeup was also excellent. I felt beautiful. The lip color lasted all evening as well and I felt like the elevated beauty that I wanted. I will recommend Devotion Studio to everyone forever. The pricing is fair for both a trial and day of services. They arrive on time, add to the getting ready atmosphere, and were a great addition to the wedding morning. I also strongly recommend checking out their Instagram account. Some really inspiring transformations where every single person looks stunning.

I chose Devotion Studio for hair and make for my wedding day and couldn't have been happier!! I first reached out to Kirsten regarding getting things set up and she was so very accommodating to my needs. Originally I was only going to have one artist do hair and makeup and then after a little more planning realized that I had enough ladies involved that it would be better to have 2 artists. She was able to make this happen and it was never a big issue that I needed to make some changes. I scheduled a preview appointment for my bridal hair and makeup where I was able to meet with the artists for my big day! Shalice was my makeup artist and Adeline was my hair stylist. I arrived to my preview appointment only having a vague idea of what I actually wanted and a few inspiration photos to share with them. Both ladies were so extremely easy to work with and there was never any time rush, it was very clear that it was all about making sure I was happy with the results and they would take the time needed to make that happen! I showed a few inspiration photos to Adeline about how I wanted my hair and she gave a few little suggestions on what she could do. I told her that sounded great and to just do what she thought would look best with those few things that I was looking for. After my hair was completed I had a few minor changes that I wanted to make, but was absolutely loving the overall style and it felt so very secure and in place. I continued to wear my hair the rest of the day and it never once felt like it was going to move or be out of place. I thought of a few more minor adjustments I wanted to make to how it looked for the wedding day and was able to text Adeline with those requests no problem! When it came to my makeup, I wasn't totally feeling like myself at the completion of it, but I just kind of assumed it was mostly because I wasn't used to seeing myself with that much makeup on. As the day went I just couldn't stay loving it, something about it was just a little off from what I envisioned for my big day. I texted Shalice and let her know the parts that I just didn't feel were right for me, sent a few more inspiration photos of what I felt would make it better for me and we quickly were able adjust the plans for the big day. She truly wanted to make sure that I would be happy and absolutely love my makeup for my wedding day. It was no problem at all that I decided on changes well after leaving the salon. I kept in contact with Kirsten regarding exactly how many people I needed services for, the location I was going to be getting ready at and what time we needed to start everything the morning of. Along with letting me know exactly how she wanted the payments broken up for the day of. On my big day Shalice and Adeline arrived to the hotel room bright and early ready to go! Each of my girls came ready with some inspiration pics to share and were so very happy with the results!! Shalice even gave each girl a little goodie bag with a lip color touchup, a tray for their false lashes and some of applicators that were used on them. When it came time for me to have my hair and makeup done every little change that I had requested came out absolutely perfect!! I could not have been happier and this time I actually felt like myself which was the part that just wasn't quite there after my preview appointment. These ladies helped make feel my absolute best on such an important day in my life!! Thank you again so much!!!

I hired Devotion Studio for my wedding hair and makeup plus my bridesmaids. From start to finish, they were top notch! Addie took the time to understand what I wanted and practice at the trial, which I highly recommend. Then on the wedding day, she was ready and remembered all my feedback. My hair was perfect! My makeup was awesome too! I'd just recommend bringing your own foundation to match your complexion and lipstick so you can reapply. All my bridesmaids looked amazing too. Not only was I very happy with the result of both my hair and makeup, but each of the stylists were so friendly and chill making for a very relaxing day of experience, which was vey important to me. Me and my (now)husband went from Germany to California to get married. I found Kirsten and her service by accident and it was the luckiest accident ever! She is such a gorgeous person and did an amazing job!! She was absolutely focused on my wishes and that I feel comfortable and that's what she did: She made me look AND feel beautiful and I'm so thankful for that!!! Every bride will know this high tension at that day and I was so extremely nervous (and far away from my friends and family) and she calmed me down with her friendly and patient attitude. I couldn’t have been happier, and the process was seamless from start to finish. Kirsten was always timely in responding, and was very accommodating with scheduling to make sure that my mom and I could book a trial together, going above and beyond when my mom wanted to book a second trial after deciding that she wasn’t happy with the initial hair style she chose. One of the things that stuck out most to me was how both Kirsten and Chyrel were able to hear my feedback after the trial and turn it into exactly what I wanted on my big day. I’m not a big hair and make-up person, so of course one of my big fears was not feeling like myself on the day-of. While the trial was on track, I had the feeling like it was too much, and they were completely open to hearing what I had to say, and then nailing it on my wedding day! Prices are reasonable, and my hair and makeup lasted through the whole evening. On top of that, you couldn’t pick two more kind and genuine people to laugh with and help make you feel calm and beautiful on your wedding day. I booked Devotion Studio to do hair and make-up for my Mom, three bridesmaids, and myself the morning of my wedding. I had looked at several other options in the Mendocino area and was impressed by their online photos and reasonable prices. Kirsten was incredibly quick, professional, and kind in her communication and it sold me. I was especially nervous because I live in Denver, CO and knew I wouldn’t be able to travel out ahead of time for any kind of trial run. I sent her multiple, conflicting photos and ideas from Pinterest (probably a stylist’s nightmare haha) and she sent me matching photos of other clients who had similar hair and make-up styles done in her studio in the past. The ceremony was in Gualala, CA which was a 2-hour drive from their studio location in Sebastopol. However, she was willing to make the trek and was super flexible when I made a couple changes after sending in the initial contract, such as adding an extra person (my Mom) to the list of people to style and asking for a second stylist to cut time down. She and Chyrel came early on the day of the ceremony and were so nice, down-to-earth, and calm. I should add that I’m pretty Type A so I was feeling fairly stressed about some last minute details when they arrived and running around like a chicken without a head. Their peaceful energy helped me a lot and they were more than happy to go with the flow to help however possible. I was also feeling particularly indecisive about my hairstyle since I had planned on wearing it down but things were getting a bit windy. They patiently looked at my photo options and asked which of the online pictures I liked best. Once I chose one, they NAILED the hair by literally making me look exactly like the style I had chosen. I loved it and it held the entire evening despite wind and dancing (they came at 10:30-ish in the morning and I was up until about 2am). As far as make-up, I am a bit self-conscious of a scar on my face and they covered it up well while still making the make-up look more natural like I wanted. I never wear make-up so I’m pretty sure I rubbed my face a few times by accident and teared up at points and it still looked great. My bridal party was also very happy with their experience and styles! I can’t say enough about how easy and wonderful they made the experience. I would highly recommend them to others looking to book hair or make-up for any special occasion.

I hired Kirsten to do mine & my bridesmaids hair for my wedding and I am so happy I did! She was responsive, talented, and overall wonderful to work with. After my trial, I wasn't so sure that the style I chose was best for me, so I sent Kirsten some images of what I wanted instead, and she executed it perfectly on my wedding day. On top of that, it was rainy and misty, and she managed to make my hair hold all day long. I loved working with Kirsten, chatting with her, and getting to know her. She is reasonably priced too and was SO incredibly easy to work with! Couldn't be happier with the outcome.

These amazing ladies woke up SOOOO early to do my make-up and hair for my brunch wedding. They were super responsive, the trial run was a blast, and they listened to my vision and made my dream look happen!! 100% recommend!

I had a wonderful experience with Devotion Studio. Like several others, I had my wedding in early November at The Grove in Occidental and found Kirsten & Cheryl when searching for stylists near our venue. Overall their services were excellent and I felt they both did an outstanding job going above & beyond. What I appreciate most about Kirsten is her ability to read people and go beyond to make sure you're happy. I drove up to visit her for my hair trial and gave her a wealth of photos of different hairstyles in the same vintage vein that I was looking for. Kirsten looked at each one and tried to find what I liked best from each of these photos and combine it together into one package. Well as it turns out, too much is too much. She asked how I felt about it and told her I liked it because I'm the type of person that doesn't want others to feel bad when I know they tried. My whole drive home though I wasn't happy and I ended up taking it all down as soon as I got home. A few days later Kirsten called me up to say that she wasn't happy with the hair either and she got the same vibe from me even though I told her I liked it. I fessed up and we had a good heart to heart about expectations and ideas. Between that day and the wedding we exchanged photos over text messages and created a style that we both thought would work well and Kirsten tried it out on Cheryl several times; sending me the videos to see if I thought it looked good. I so appreciated that she did this; and that she was the one to offer it. In the end I couldn't have been happier. Cheryl I love for being a go with the flow type of person and always having a smile on her face. Prior to my wedding day I asked my bridal party and family if any of them wanted hair and makeup done and only my MIL said yes. The morning of, as the girls watched Cheryl finished up quickly and we had plenty of time to spare...and sure enough each of them ended up changing their minds on the spot and asking for makeup then. I was a bit miffed that my party was putting Cheryl & Kirsten in a pinch like that, but they both were extremely accommodating and took it with stride. Everyone looked great, and both ladies made sure the entire wedding party felt special.

I found Devotion Studio via recommendation from our wedding venue, Vine Hill House, and I could not be more pleased with how my hair + make-up turned out on the big day! All of us were really happy and felt beautiful. Kirsten was super easy to work with and quick to respond to emails. When I was accidentally overcharged for the remaining balance (we both forgot to deduct the $100 deposit from the outstanding balance), I let her know and she quickly refunded me the money via venmo and made it right. Hair and make-up was completed on time and both Kirsten and Chyrel were great to work with! Would definitely recommend!
