Shannon and Brandon were our wedding photographers for our December 2022 wedding, but honestly they felt more like friends than paid vendors lol. They truly have the best personalities and know how to get a smile out of anyone. They clearly direct everyone how to look their personal best whether it comes down to how to pose or moving hair out of your face, which was my perfect for my husband and I who are typical picture people. They truly made us feel so comfortable, confident and special on our wedding day. Even our wedding guests couldn’t stop talking about how great they were! They truly felt like part of the party and you’re getting two experienced well qualified photographers! I wish I was having another wedding just so I could book them again haha!

We met Brandon and Shannon at our friends’ wedding and knew right then and there we didn’t want to work with any other photographer! We have been in awe of their artistic vision- they are so incredible at their craft and capture their subjects so naturally and effortlessly. In addition to being amazing photographers, they are also just wonderful people – they are so in love and so much fun to be around. Photography is an important investment for your wedding, and they are worth every penny. We truly cannot recommend them enough!

I don't think I can even put into words how truly amazing and talented DeWitt for Love Photography truly is! We had our engagement session and then long awaited due to covid wedding with them. Rescheduling with them because of covid was a breeze as well, while other vendors made it a hassle. So thankful for them! The pictures are beyond amazing. They made it so we did not even have to think about what we were doing or how we were posing which was great because we had no idea what we were doing haha! They also made sure the day of the wedding went smoothly and that we got all the shots we had wanted! If I had to redo the day I would hire them 1000000000 times over! Wonder people and wonder photographers, I will be forever grateful to them for capturing such treasures on our beautiful day ❤️

The absolute best!!! Shannon and Brandon were such a pleasure to work with. My husband and I did both our engagement and wedding photos with them and absolutely loved all of our photos. They are extremely professional and good at what they do, and they made the entire process feel easy going and relaxed. It’s not always easy to feel comfortable posing in front of a camera but it truly felt like we were hanging out with friends that just happened to be taking our photos on our wedding day! They are so much fun to be around and the photos are incredible. We are still in awe every time we look at our photos and we will definitely be using them again in the future! Highly recommend!

If this review doesn’t tell you how amazing Brandon and Shannon are, I don’t know what will. It has been almost 2 years since our wedding and almost 3 years since our engagement shoot. As I look back at my photos, I just can’t go any longer without shouting to the rooftops with how stunning and perfect they are. I am thankful everytime I look at them that I chose a team of photographers that’s were fun, masters at their craft and helped us make amazing memories that still spark me with joy. They go above and beyond for their clients (when I say above and beyond, I seriously mean it-they poured more into us and our wedding than any other vendor/service provider we have had) and have fun while doing it. Shannon and Brandon are a power couple that absolutely crush it when it comes to your wedding needs. We were lucky enough to get to work with them two years in a row since the pandemic caused us to have two parties. We could not believe how accommodating they were splitting their time between two Saturdays in November 2020 and 2021. Very selfless professionals that go over the top for you. You get much more than incredible wedding photos when you hire them..you get amazing friends that boost the excitement that comes with a wedding celebration. These two are hilarious and can make a photo shoot very enjoyable. Five stars all the way for the Dewitt couple. They can have our business for the rest of our life!

EXCEPTIONAL SERVICE!!!!!! Exceeded ALL my expectations, this fantastic couple put me at such ease throughout the lovely whirlwind of my big day! Their energy & passion is contagious - they are the exact people you want around you on this day hyping you up. My new husband and I felt like they were just part of our crew the whole time - completely unobtrusive yet had a detailed schedule that ensured I got every picture I could possibly dream of. The inclement weather was no challenge for this team - Shannon & Brandon were super flexible and had amazing work-arounds to get all the pics in - even with my poorly behaved & damp Australian Shepherd puppy in the mix 🐶 They brought me water bottles, fluffed my dress, and countless other things that were above & beyond. I haven’t seen other photographers bend over backwards the way this team does for the bride & groom - and I’m practically a professional bridesmaid at this stage in my life 😅 This is the easiest decision you will ever make because I will make it for you - HIRE 👏🏼THIS 👏🏼 PHOTOGRAPHER You will be so happy you did!!!

We booked Brandon and Shannon for our Feb. 2021 wedding more than a year in advance. We knew planning a wedding could be stressful and chaotic, but never did we envision we would have to do so during a global pandemic. Thankfully we had Brandon and Shannon on our side. From our initial meetup to our engagement photos to the actual big day, the Dewitts were extremely professional, communicative and just a ton of fun to work with, even when many details were up in the air due to COVID. When they are behind the lens it's very obvious they are in their element, a talent that is further amplified by their off-the-charts chemistry. Several guests commented to us how impressed they were by not only our final photos, but how well Brandon and Shannon directed "traffic" and the energy they brought to the day. While we don't recommend getting married during a pandemic, we can't recommend booking Brandon and Shannon enough for your wedding.

I don’t even know where to begin with this review!!! Stop reading this right now and just book Brandon and Shannon for your wedding photos!! Are you kidding me, they are the COOLEST people we’ve ever met. If we didn’t hire them as our photographers we would’ve invited them as guests to our wedding!! They brought so much fun and energy!!! We had so much fun taking photos, being silly and cracking jokes. We hired a videographer also and they coordinated great together. They were prompt, professional and literally the friendliest people we have ever met!! Brandon helped fix my bustle a million times because it kept coming undone and no one else knew how to do it. They shined good lighting when they saw our guests taking selfies with us!! They taught us how to do the dougie hahahaha. They even brought us tissues for our first look in case we cried. I mean I could go on and on about how they went above and beyond. Brandon and Shannon made sure we were comfortable the entire day. Everything about the experience with dewittforlove made our day that much more enjoyable. The photos are INCREDIBLE!! We can relive our wedding day through each and every photo they took. Thank you Brandon and Shannon for being more than just our wedding day photographers :)

We had Shannon and her husband join us last minute during our covid wedding on 12/11/2020 and we could not have been happier! They made the process simple and took the headache and stress out of trying to capture the "perfect" pinterest look because they naturally know the lighting/angles/poses well enough to make sure they capture those moments. We zoomed about a month beforehand to discuss our priorities and aesthetic style. Due to a violinists being late, our sunset wedding was delayed a bit and we only had so much light to work with before the sun set. Shannon got those photos in! We are blessed to have had them throughout this process! Shannon also went above and beyond to take on a therapist role (she really didn't need to) when I was insecure about how some of the photos turned out. All in all, I cannot recommend Dewitt for Love Photography enough.

I'm convinced these two are absolutely the best in the biz. Shannon & Brandon are SO fun to work with and their work is amazing. Our wedding was on 3/27/21 so we were planning and hosting it all during the covid-19 pandemic. We had to reschedule our engagement shoot and were constantly preparing for the worst-case scenario for our wedding day. Shannon & Brandon were so communicative, kind, and understanding throughout the entire process. In fact, we almost had to reschedule our engagement shoot for a second time when we were unable to access our original location at the last minute. They immediately started researching and connecting with other photographers in their network to compile a list of possible alternate locations for us so that we could still take photos that day. We had so much fun partying with them on our day - it was like they were two guests we had invited instead of our photographers! My brother-in-law and his fiance loved them so much that they hired them for their own wedding... we're super excited to get to "hang out" with Dewitt for Love again next year! Shannon & Brandon - if you're reading this, THANK YOU so much for everything!

Maryland COVID bride here, planned the initial destination wedding for November 2020. Found Shannon Dewitt online and asked her if she had done any weddings at my venue of choice, Shepard's Beach Resort. She had done weddings there because and sent me samples of her work from there. All I can say is WOW, we fell in love. She was on the more expensive side but I truly feel that her work was worth it! Shannon and her husband Brandon work together as a team. They even went as far as to meet us for lunch the last time we were in Florida. Sooo friendly and cool and could def see us all being friends if we didn't live so far away! We had to reschedule due to COVID for today, April 3rd, 2021. Shannon was understanding and allowed us to reschedule our wedding to this date. Just over a couple months ago, my husband and I found out that we were expecting our first child. The anxiety of COVID along with our doctors recommendations unfortunately meant we had to cancel our rescheduled wedding all together. Shannon was understanding of this and for that we are so thankful!! She wished us well wishes for our future baby and told us to reach out in the future any time we come back to Florida. She was super helpful and communicative throughout the whole planning process and really made me feel comfortable about the whole planning process. I wish we got to use Shannon and her services in the end, but know we will be using her in a few years for our vow renewal ceremony in Clearwater!!

If there were more than 5 stars, Shannon and Brandon would get it. There aren't enough words to say how thankful we are to have had them on our team. They are beyond personable, professional, extremely talented, and just all around stellar people. I met these gems at a work event where Brandon had introduced himself. We got to talking about how I was recently engaged and he told me they had donated a photo shoot as an auction item. After winning the photoshoot, Brandon introduced me to Shannon and we hit it off immediately. From there, I invited them to dinner because I wanted my then fiance to meet them before we made a final decision on booking. Low and behold, at the beginning of dinner Brandon and him end up knowing each other from their days as IM basketball stars. From that dinner on, we knew it was meant to be. These two create such magic behind the camera and if their shots are anything like what they produced for us for our engagement photos, I cannot imagine what our wedding pictures are going to look like. Shout out to the vendors who become friends.

I cannot recommend Shannon and her husband enough. My fiancé and I did engagement photos in St. Pete. She were very responsive from the get-go, was super flexible when we had to change dates and times at the last minute, and her and her husband were so fun to work with. They are professional but at the same time, are laid back, down to earth, and easy to work with - my fiancé is not a fan of posed photos and he actually enjoyed our photo shoot! It did not seem awkward or posed at all, which both my fiancé and I loved. We wanted our dog in some of our photos and they were amazing on working with her and knowing how to get good photos with a pup!! The photos themselves? GORGEOUS. I am low key obsessed with every single photo they took. The angles, the lighting, everything is beautiful. She finished our album in a timely fashion as promised. She even helped me resize photos so I could put them on our wedding website. TLDR - Professional, responsive, flexible, down to earth photographer with amazing photography skills. I am SO happy I somehow stumbled upon Dewitt For Love Photography on a random Facebook page. Shannon was extremely responsive immediately and worked with me from the beginning to get our setting, timing, and style right for our engagement photo session. My Fiancé and I haven't had any pictures done in our years of being together, so we were very new and a little nervous to begin the session but Shannon warmed us up and helped us relax right away. The photos came back weeks earlier than we expected and were BEYOND what we had hoped for. I can't thank Shannon enough for taking everything I planned/wanted and putting it into photos! I cannot say enough great things about Shannon and Brandon. They truly are the nicest and most talented couple. After what had been a very hectic, unpredictable, and stressful last few months (and even after ultimately having to postpone our wedding 6 months) they were extremely accommodating, professional, and understanding through it all. When we were finally able to have our big day, they were just as excited to be shooting us as we were to finally be celebrating. They were a very important part of our day, and made not only my husband and I super comfortable, but also the bridal party, family members, and wedding guests as well. Everyone noticed just how hard working and great they are at what they do, and we recieved a ton of compliments on them as well. They not only take absolutely AMAZING photographs, but they essentially helped the entire day and night flow wonderfully. I reached out to Dewitt for Love before I even had my venue and I booked my wedding date around their availability. That is how much I LOVE their work. Meeting them was just icing on the cake. You know when you meet people and you can instantly tell they are good people? Yeah, that's Shannon and Brandon. They have the most genuine upbeat personalities and they will be obsessed with your wedding just as much as you are. Their style is very vogue like, so be prepared to feel like a model when they're behind the lens. And the candids? OH MY GOD. I need a photographer who is my best friend- if I'm smiling awkward, if I have a fly away or if I simply just have to move...they are just that. So detail orientated, so organized and SO awesome. I don't even know where to begin on how amazing Shannon and Brandon are! They are SO talented as photographers but what makes them extra special is their personalities and how natural they make you feel! Even when you are feeling nervous they help ease you. Shannon & Brandon are truly some of the most talented and AMAZING human beings. I did not even feel like they were a vendor - I honestly felt like they were guests at my wedding taking photos. So many of my friends and family told me how awesome the photographers were who didn't even know them! When Shannon and I first met, we had a glass of wine and chatted for 4 hours!!!!! (Not sure she's advertising that since there's probably not enough wine and time for everyone LOL) but the point is she really takes the time to get to know her brides and listen to what they're looking for from their photos. I told her detail shots were super important to me, and she got some really amazing and creative photos of all the details, especially the florals and our reception!! The day goes by so fast, so it's hard to take the time to appreciate all the work you've put into the planning. She made sure to capture all of those moments for me. Our wedding was at Armature Works while a few other weddings were going ON TOP OF Kentucky Derby events (I know, right?!). The venue was insanely packed, and it was a super hot day. She and Brandon handled the challenge with grace, and we could not be happier with our photos! Obviously, Shannon & Bandon's work speaks for itself, but they are so much more than just a vendor!! BOOK IMMEDIATELY!

We were traveling in from out of state and about 2 weeks out decided we wanted to take pics there. AMAZING!! Shannon and Brandon are so fun and professional to work with. We loved every second of our engagement shoot. The photos were absolutely stunning! I interviewed a few photographers, but from the second I met Shannon, I knew we needed to hire them. She made me feel so comfortable and like I could trust with my wedding. My god where to begin. We could not have asked for a better photographer team to capture our wedding! From the get-go Shannon and Brandon made us feel comfortable and so excited for our big day. Shannon even did a boudoir photo session with me as a surprise gift to my husband. Mind you, this was the first time we were meeting in person; even though I was basically half naked in front of her she made me feel so comfortable and the process went so smoothly because of how she broke the ice. Wow what can I say that everyone else hasn’t already said? Yes I am also crying as I’m looking through my sneak peaks. This girl is amazing but I knew that as soon as I spoke with her. Shannon and her husband are such great people and make you immediately feel comfortable. My husband and I were nervous about hiring a photographer because we felt that we may appear awkward in photos but how can you feel awkward when these two are constantly making you laugh ? Lol . They captured the most special moments! I’ll be seeing them again someday, and will recommend them to everyone! <3 you guys !

Shannon & Brandon were above and beyond what I ever expected from any wedding photographer. The quality of the photos they take is unlike anything I have ever seen. Not only are the Dewitts professional and INCREDIBLE at photography, they are also such a joy to be around. I cannot recommend Dewitt for Love Photography enough! My husband and I planned our wedding in about a month and a half. Shannon was one of the first vendors I met with. When she heard our vision and short timeline she immediately gave a list of vendors that she had worked with and recommended for the vibe we were going for. She went above and beyond right from that first meeting and continued to do so throughout the entire process. Shannon is extremely knowledgeable about all things wedding and photography related. She created a timeline to help the day run smoothly and ensured that we got all of the pictures that we wanted before wrapping up. She really helped to make us feel our best selves in front of the camera. My husband and I felt that we were just hanging out with another one of our best friends the day of the wedding! I don’t even know where to start with how amazing Shannon and her husband Brandon are! Shannon, there are not enough words to put together, can i just simply state she’s amazing?! When hiring a wedding photographer I knew I wanted someone who I connected with. Let’s face it, nobody wants awkward photos. I was a busy working girl and hard to get ahold of. But THIS WOMAN was persistent but not invasive about getting together for just one phone call to hear my vision. After that phone call it was a done deal. Dewitt for Love Photography. She (they’re). Is. Ah-MAZING. I happened upon a message from Shannon via Thumbtack, and we set a date/time to have our ‘meet and greet’ phone call to see if we’d be a match. During our first conversation, I immediately sensed how truly excited she was to be in her profession. She wanted to hear about our story and our ideas, and it seemed like she and I were a match made in heaven. After this call I knew I didn’t have to look any further, and we got down to the nitty-gritty to engage D4L to capture our matrimonial bliss. Fast forward to our downtown St. Pete mural engagement session – Shannon had a detailed game plan for the evening, putting my type-A mind at ease. Even though we had never met before, it never felt like we were strangers walking from place to place to take photos on what was probably the hottest July evening… ever. Shannon was easy to talk to, gave amazing direction, and was hilarious – if you are uncomfortable in front of a camera (or think you’re not), she is the absolute BEST person to make sure you feel beautiful and guide you along to stay on task and have fun. The experience was the sundae of your dreams, but receiving our edited engagement photos was the cherry on top. They are stunning. The coloration, the perspective, the angles – everything. Now we skip to our rehearsal (2/2/18) and wedding (2/3/18) coverage. Shannon was on the ball and informed me her tall husband, Brandon, would be joining her as a second-shooter, a bonus since he could get the right angles of my own tall husband, Cameron. We had a great pre-wedding call to discuss details, but, at this point, I trusted Shannon and knew she would do her thang… work magic. Our wedding day was more of the same calculated planning of Shannon and, now entering, Brandon. As anxious as I was, she talked me through everything and calmed me, as I was floating outside of my body and couldn’t speak words most of the day! Shannon and Brandon are a dynamic duo… undoubtedly – they interact with each other amazingly and made everyone feel at ease… they are friends you have that also happen to be amazing photographers at your major life events. Our ceremony and reception went by in a flash (… pun intended), but the sneak peek photos we received highlighted some of the amazing moments and feelings from the day that we may not have been able to put into words from memory alone. The pictures are edited beautifully and show who Cameron and I are – whether looking at each other lovingly or me rolling my eyes at him while he makes a choice joke… but they’re all there… the full gamut of emotion caught in a single frame. The end products are these amazing pieces of art, and Dewitt for Love has given us this gallery to look back on forever. Of all the wedding planning decisions to be made, this was the easiest… and by far the best. Not only is the final product greater than I could have imagined, but the experience was the highest quality I could want for Cameron and myself… and anyone else I can refer their way. We are forever grateful for Shannon and Brandon, and we cannot wait to have them capture other future moments coming our way.

I cannot speak highly enough of Dewitt for Love photography, who we used for both our engagement photos and wedding in 2017. Shannon is one of those people that you just know they’re going to be a star because they have a natural gift. But saying Shannon has a gift for photography is kind of a cop out; I have never seen someone work so hard to perfect their craft. Shannon tirelessly works to make you happy with the photos she takes. It’s immediately apparent from the first conversation that you know she is going to do a good job. Shannon took absolute control of the wedding photography from the beginning of the day, making sure everything down to our wedding invitations were captured in an incredibly creative way. The most complimented service at our wedding was Dewitt for Love Photography, and it was a LANDSLIDE. In fact, we are planning to submit a few of our photos to bridal magazines and are almost positive they will make it. Like I said, I cannot recommend this company highly enough. 5 stars?! I need 10 or better yet 100! Shannon captured the best images of my puppy and I. I laughed so hard, my pictures still came out amazing! She also managed to have his attention the entire time. The final products were amazing I still am having a hard time deciding which picture will go on our Christmas cards. Shannon also explained the different type of lighting she was trying to capture in park photoshoot. Let me tell you. She has a good eye for detail!

She was absolutely brilliant from start to finish. Professional, efficient, friendly and, most importantly, took the most amazing photographs of our wedding. I cannot say enough amazing things about Shannon! I met Shannon at a wedding expo and entered to win her free engagement session. To my surprise, I won! From then on my experience has been amazing with Shannon. You would think winning a free session it wouldn't be completely free.. well it was! When Shannon says "free engagement session" she means it. No hidden fees. Shannon always kept in contact with me and made sure she truly got to know my husband and I personalities. My husband and I don’t have enough space here for all the positive adjectives we have for Dewitt for Love Photography and the duo that makes their work magical. We met Shannon when we were trying to find a photographer for our engagement photos in the St. Pete/Sarasota area. She was engaging, responsive and filled with genuine love for her clients. It didn’t just exist in our email exchanges, it was evident in the work you see on the D4L website, in the clients the team highlights on their social media... everywhere. Our photoshoot at Longboat Key was simply incredible, so we reached out to to D4L to capture our wedding. We exchanged ideas, timelines and dialogues over the course of a year, and when they arrived at the Wedding House? It was like having part of our family there. Shannon was grabbing people, Brandon was grabbing the Groom - they were a pivotal part of our special day. But beyond being just wonderful people? Their work is untouchable. Shannon sprinted from the beach to the 3rd story of the wedding house while Brandon gathered our guests for the most magical group photo we’ve ever seen. Seriously, Hallmark card worthy. Then she hustled back down to run through our shot lists to maintain authentic looks as the sun set in the background. They got gorgeous, artistic shots of every beautiful detail. Truthfully, my husband and I were so busy (and nervous) and focused on everyone else, that we didn’t have a lot of time to take in all the beautiful details of the day. Shannon and Brandon caught every one of them - and they were so gorgeous, it honestly looked staged. In between all of that, they had fun with our family and friends and frankly? We all hated to see them go at the end of the night. The real gift of their work came a couple of weeks later when we received our Sneak Peek shots (a collection of about 100 images that they share ahead of all their cleaned shots a couple months after the event), giving us a glimpse of our remarkable day. We smiled, we cried and we savored in all the details of our special day that we would’ve missed had we not had this talented duo on our team. Daniel and I are both military and have worked with photojournalists and combat camera assets for... decades (each). This means we are extremely detail-oriented, demanding, and... picky. We did our research, and fell in love with Shannon’s work instantly. Over the course of a few weeks (and a crazy hurricane) we shared ideas and images and stories. She took it all in and found the backdrop that was the perfect fit for who we are as individuals and as a couple/family. We were so excited to see her finished products, and when we got her completed images? It took our breath away. Shannon was fantastic! We won an engagement session after attending a bridal expo, and we could not have been more thrilled! She was so creative and easy to work with! Our photos were edited and sent to us in 24 hours! We had planned on asking her to shoot our wedding as well, but unfortunately, she was already booked on our day. There aren't enough words to describe just how great Shannon is! She shot our engagement pictures for us and her and I were constantly texting back and fourth for months going over ideas we liked.
