We hired Dexter Davis for both photography and videography services. Dexter and Becky were our photographers and Anthony was the videographer and we couldn't be happier with the team as a whole. Our photos are absolutely gorgeous, the team had great communication, gave great guidance for the timeline of the day, poses and locations in downtown Albany, and was flexible when our plans changed multiple times due to COVID. Dexter even came out in a bitterly cold snowstorm in Saratoga to shoot our engagement photos and shot our COVID wedding on Lake George. Despite the challenges, weather, and even a protest in Albany on our wedding day which forced us to change our first look plans, Dexter was with us every step of the way and never once complained or told us something wasn't possible. We couldn't be happier with our experience working with Dexter and his team and we absolutely recommend him to any other couple. We would be thrilled to hire him again for any future events that need the moment captured!

Working with Dexter and his team was an absolute joy. We had our wedding last year and just received our book and photos (props to the teams patience while we went through a move and had to delay some photo choosing). Our photos are gorgeous and I loved that they were ready and willing to tweak any of the ones we needed tweaks (which were not that many). This book is beautiful and I can't really recommend them enough to locals

We met Dexter at the wedding expo in Albany. We were able to schedule a time to meet with him at his studio and see some of the amazing work he as done for other weddings. He was very professional, listened to our vision, and helped us to plan out the perfect wedding day timeline with adequate time for photos. Dexter and Milan did our engagement photos, which turned out great! For our wedding day, we had 3 photographers (Dexter, Becky, and Eddie) and a videographer (Juan) through Dexter Photography. Everyone we worked with was so kind, patient, and able to help us feel relaxed. We also really liked how experienced Dexter was working with the State Room and The Music Man. It made our wedding experience so seamless! We recommend working with Dexter for all your photo and film needs if you're in the Albany area! And we can't wait to see our wedding photos and video!!

From the start to when we hired Dexter and his team to the end, they were very professional and fun! Eddy was excellent with our engagement pictures. He made it fun and got some amazing pictures of myself and my husband. On our wedding day, Dexter and his team were on time and ready to start as soon as they arrived! They made the whole process fun and were so easy to talk to on what we wanted. Thank you Dexter for being THE BEST wedding photographer!!!

Dexter and his team did the photos, video and photo booth for our March wedding and everything was perfect! Dexter was so much fun to work with! He always made us feel comfortable in front of the camera and knew exactly where to go to get the perfect shots for our engagement and wedding photos. Throughout the entire planning process Dexter kept in constant contact with us and helped us to set up our timeline for the day. On the day of the wedding Dexter kept everyone organized for photos and made sure we stuck to our strict time schedule while still getting all the photos we wanted. Also, our guests had so much fun in the photo booth, there are so many awesome props to choose from! The photos and videos turned out even better than we could have imagined! We are so happy that we chose Dexter and his team to capture the most important day of our lives!!

Dexter and his team have 100% been awesome to work with. Dexter is super laid back but yet AWESOME at what he does- making you super comfortable to be in front of his camera. On our wedding day in the moments of the ceremony and reception you did not even know him and the 2nd photographer were there- staying out of the way while capturing every beautiful moment I am sure. The team was organized during wedding party and family photos that we had requested making getting photos down stress free and more efficient. Michelle was the second photographer and was great coming up with various ideas- her and Dexter worked great together to get multiple angles and adjust lighting to ensure the most perfect shots. Also Beach the videographer was awesome to work with- super creative in his work. Also the Photo Booth was a blast and our guests definitely enjoyed that it was great having the attendant there to assist and greet our guests- that attendant also was a great help during our first look to assist me in handling my dress and train :) I CANNOT WAIT to see my videos and photos!! Thank you so much!

Laughs, jokes, smiles! When your guests come up to you and ask who hired the entourage! Very professional, keep it light and fun no matter what. Your cheeks with hurt from smiling and laughing throughout the whole time. Dexter knew my husband and I were not super happy being in front of the camera, but made it very comfortable for both our engagement session and day of the wedding! Our pictures came out awesome and the video is out of this world! Love love love!!

We knew of Dexter from a sibling’s wedding and had seen first-hand his professionalism and beautiful photos he captured. We were in luck when we first contacted Dexter as his only available Saturday left in his busy wedding season was our wedding day, and we hired him during that first phone call. Dexter shot our engagement photos as well as our wedding day. He did a great job of capturing our special moments with incredible backgrounds, angles, lighting, and poses. His relaxed demeanor made us feel at ease instantly. Dexter is very professional and walked us through every detail from planning the engagement photo locations to planning out the photos and events of the wedding day. Working with Dexter and his team was an absolute joy for my husband and me. The quality of our photos is absolutely breathtaking. Dexter worked with us to make a package that fit our budget and his staff was also willing to travel hours farther than their usual clientel to shoot our wedding. My Husband and I are not usually very comfortable in front of a camera but Kevin (Dexter's associate photog) made us feel so comfortable during both our engagement shoot and during our wedding. Ask my family, I rarely ever smile for photos, but Kevin kept us relaxed and laughing the whole time. You can really see our joy throughout all our photos. When I jokingly asked if we could walk out into the middle of the creek in the freezing cold water to get some cool shots, where other photogs might have said no in fear of getting their equipment wet, Kevin took off his shoes and jumped in the water with my husband and me. Dave did an amazing job as not only our second shooter for the ceremony but also in setting up and working Dexter's photobooth during our reception. Friends and family still talk about how much fun it was. I lost count of how many guests, within 24 hours of the wedding, had used one of their photobooth strips as their new facebook profile picture and posted about how much fun they had had. Due to an issue with our venues equipment our ceremony site had to be changed last minute. When I informed Dexter's team about the last minute change of plans they made it so smooth and stress free for us. We could not have asked for anything more.

Dexter and his team were fantastic throughout the whole wedding planning process. They were flexible and professional and listened to all of our ideas for photos during our engagement shoot and wedding day. Dexter and his team really love what they do and it shows through their dedication and photos. I hope to work with Dexter in the future for any photography needs.

We can't say enough about Dexter and the service he gave us. We were living out of town and having our wedding in the Adirondacks. Dexter was able to work with us to devise a plan and took the risk of driving all the way into mountains in the middle of no where to shoot our wedding (despite having no cell phone reception!). He was right on time and stay late, making sure to capture every moment of our big day, far exceeding our expectations. He was professional, but also kept the atmosphere light and fun, which no doubt can be seen in our final product. It took a little over 2 months to get our final pictures, but it was well worth the wait! You can tell he takes pride in what he does, and does it well.

Dexter was the first and only photographer that we met with when we were trying to find a photographer to shoot our wedding. He is very laid back and personable while still being extremely professional. He shot our engagement photos a little over a year ago and the quality was so amazing that I knew we had made the right choice in choosing Dexter. We just recently received our wedding photos. It was around a month and a half waiting period. Our wedding photos were WELL worth the wait! Dexter and his associate photographer captured EVERY moment from the wedding perfectly! I couldn't help but tear up as we were looking through all of the photos. I HIGHLY recommend Dexter and his crew!

We chose Dexter and his team for our wedding day for a few reasons. We loved all of his work we had seen, and he was able to do both photos and a video for us. Dexter and his team were so professional throughout our entire experience, and really let us design what we wanted our photos to look like (where they were taken, poses we did, etc.). All of our photos turned out so great! We could not have gone with a better photographer for our wedding day. 100% satisfied!

When I was not happy with the caliber of photographers available in Plattsburgh, I branched out my search, and I'm so glad that I did! We wanted 2 photographers for the entire day (11 hours) and we were able to negotiate this easily. Our 2 photographers (one associate and one assistant) were fabulous. They had great personalities, we're very appropriate while photographing in the Catholic Church where our ceremony was held, and handled our rowdy bridal party and wedding guests perfectly. We haven't received our pictures yet, but Dexter posted one teaser to Facebook a few days after our wedding and, the photographers showed us a few pictures as they were taking them, and they were stunning! I would highly recommend this photographer to anyone without reservation, especially anyone in the Plattsburgh area who wants more options.

We planned our wedding two years in advance. Knowing that photography was very important to us, Josh and I tried to find a photographer ASAP. When we found Dexter's work, we knew it would be perfect for our wedding day. He is professional, but also friendly and charismatic...enough to make two far from photogenic people look great on camera. Dexter and his team were fantastic...from our engagement session, all the way to our wedding day. We were looking for a team to capture the emotion of the day and all of those honest moments that cannot be recreated. We got just that! Thank you to Dexter and his team!!

We absolutely loved working with Dexter and Sarah on our wedding day! We had done our engagement photos with Dexter and loved the quality of work and his laid back style. It was the same on our wedding day. Both photographers paid close attention to details and were helpful with everything we needed. They really were wonderful to work with! Besides photography, we also went with a videography package. The videographer, Jim, was extremely nice and captured all the little moments while staying out of the way. We really can't wait to see the finished product.

Dexter is an amazing photographer. When we were looking for a photographer for our wedding, we stubbled upon his website. The quality of the photographs truly impressed us, so we set up an appointment to meet. Dexter made us feel very comfortable and special during our engagement session and during the wedding. Every time we show a friend a picture from our wedding day, they say "It looks likes its taken out of a wedding/fashion magazine." The price is the average price for his services, but we believe it is totally worth it. The pictures will last forever and remind us of a wonderful day.

i was so nervous for our wedding photos. i'm not really a huge fan of having my picture taken. but dexter and his partner made our wedding photos look amazing! they were there from the start well into the reception. The hard part is actually trying to choose which photos to use in our album because they're all sooo good! :) very happy with everything! highly recommend!

We had Dexter Davis, his associate photographer Sarah D'Alberto as well as a videographer at our wedding. Everyone was just so wonderful, professional and did an absolutely amazing job! Our wedding was early in the day which meant a very early start, but there were no complaints and they were so friendly and patient which meant a lot to me since I already had so much going on. The photos came out wonderful as well as our video and the way they packaged them up and presented them to us was so much more that what we expected. I would recommend Dexter Davis Photography to anyone who wanted superior service and results.

We were about 6 months from our wedding and still hadn't found a photographer. We were trying to plan a wedding on a budget and all the quotes for two shooters, full day coverage were way out of our price range. Then we found Dexter. He was great! He was so helpful, willing to meet with us whenever we wanted and very well organized. The day of our wedding wasn't exactly smooth, we had a few hiccups, added a few shots and of course a mother of the bride who wanted more pictures than she knew what to do with :). Dexter and Sarah were awesome, they rolled with the punches, didn't once let on that they were stressed and got some truly beautiful pictures. We had compliments on not just the pictures but the photographer as well. All of our wedding party loved how comfortable they felt with them. I would recommend Dexter and his team 100%. They are great photographers and an affordable price! Don't hesitate! He is awesomeq

We got married July 7, 2012, Dexter did a GREAT job with our wedding photos, he also did our engagement photos. He is professional, personable and fun. We had a large wedding party, 20 including the bride and groom, not to mention we are a crazy bunch. Dexter had another photographer (Kevin he was great too), having 2 photographers we got a lot more shots taken. I would recommend him to everyone!

We haven't seen all of our photos yet, but from the few I saw I know they are going to be amazing. Even though it was dreary and raining on my wedding day, you can't tell at all, and he really got some beautiful shots that show the emotion of the day.. not just your typical posed photos (although he'll do those too). He was great to work with and very professional. I highly recommend Dexter!
