About this vendor
DFK Planning, a wedding planning business in Washington, DC, was founded with the belief that every event should be a memorable experience. The vision is to create unique and innovative events that exceed our clients' expectations and leave a lasting impression.
In June 2011, I started planning my first event, which was a wedding that took place in August 2012. From then on, I have planned milestone birthdays, fundraising galas, celebration galas, and weddings. As a result, my experience with different cultures is vast.
I am familiar with Jewish, Ethiopian, Nigerian, and African American wedding customs, just to name a few. I have planned and coordinated events in both common and unique venues such as community centers, country clubs, farms, hotels, art galleries, wineries, backyards, waterfronts, and restaurant buyouts. I have planned and coordinated events with $0 budget to over $100k budget.
My services are guaranteed to enhance your event.

We cannot say enough amazing things about our day-of coordinator, Aggie! We brought her on just two weeks before our wedding, and from the very first conversation she completely pu...
t us at ease. She stepped in seamlessly, took charge of all the details, and handled everything with the kind of professionalism and calm presence that every couple hopes for. On the actual wedding day, she was an absolute rock star. Everything ran perfectly, every detail was exactly how we envisioned it, and we were able to fully enjoy ourselves without a single worry. She kept us in great spirits, smoothed out any little hiccups before we even knew they existed, and did it all with a warm, positive attitude. Her organization, communication, and eye for detail are truly unmatched. Beyond that, she is just a wonderful person to be around — the type of professional who makes you feel supported and cared for during such a big, emotional day. Hiring her was hands down one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. We are so grateful for her and would recommend her to anyone looking for someone reliable, organized, and genuinely invested in making your day as perfect as possible.
Working with Aggie was amazing on/before our wedding day! She is incredibly organized, thorough and prepared. She contacted all of our vendors and was the point person on the day o...
f our wedding. She helped have a special, low-stress day and we can’t recommend her enough! She was available for all our questions, guided us, and handled everything. It was a special day, made even better by Aggie’s hard work, planning, and mitigation of every curl ball that came up. Thank you, Aggie!
