DGM Photography

This is the one item I decided to splurge on for our wedding and I'm so glad I did. Everyone loved it, from the barely walking toddlers to my 83 year old grandma. Worth every penny!

DGM Photography was great! Dave and his assistant Lucy were such a pleasure to work with. We had our engagement session with Dave and Lucy almost a year before our wedding, and it made us so excited for the wedding. Our engagement session was at Hartwood, and on the day of, it was pretty gloomy and cold. When we got the pictures back, we were so amazed at how great everything looked. The colors were fabulous; you would have never guessed it was a gloomy day. All throughout our planning process, Dave answered all of my questions with ease and timeliness. On the day of our actual wedding, Dave met with the guys in the morning and Lucy hung out with us girls while we got ready. Lucy was so great to have around. She has so many good, creative ideas for pictures of my dress and our rings, etc...She got along great with all of us while we were getting ready. Dave and Lucy both were great during pictures after the ceremony. They knew exactly what we wanted and didnt' waste any time either. I had given him a list of a few photos that I wanted to be sure to get, and he got all of it, I was very impressed! We also had the photobooth through DGM at the reception, and all of our guests LOVED it! Dave has props and everything to make it really fun. Also, when the photostrip prints out, 2 copies print out and the guests get one copy and the other goes in a scrapbook that we (bride and groom) get to keep. It was so nice to see all of the pictures that everyone took! We havent' received our wedding photos back yet (it's only been a few weeks) but I CAN'T WAIT to see our wedding photos. I know they are going to be great! A+ for Dave and Lucy!

Having DGM and a photobooth for our wedding was the best idea ever! It was so fun. The photobooth is set up movie theater style and has tons of props. The girl working the booth was really nice and everyone had so much fun. The booth isn't too big and worked well at our venue and you get the coolest guest book ever at the end of the night.

Excellent package! I received a scrap book of all the pictures that were taking throughout the night. The attendant was very friendly, especially to the kids who used it 100x

This was such a great idea and everyone is still talking about it. We used the strips as our favors and wrote a thank you message at the bottom. Everyone that goes in the booth gets a strip (which it's usually just 1 for the group). If 6 people go in, they all get a strip. We got a great album out of it too where people wrote messages to us. Please get this photobooth and Dave was wonderful to work with. He always answered the phone and answered emails within a day. I love when people get back to me promptly!

Dave is a genius photographer and his photobooth is an extraordinary asset to any wedding! He has an assistant photographer who is extremely nice and talented as well! He has several different packages available to purchase. Can be pricey for the big packages, but VERY much worth it!

Dave was great to work with. He was very helpful and such a nice person. The photo booth was a blast and we loved seeing all the photo strips in the book when we went home the next day. Things went very smoothly and I highly recommend them to anyone!

Dave and his assistant Lucy are very nice. There are a few photos that were truly gorgeous, but many were out of focus. For what we paid we are satisfied, but not blown away. Although, we have plenty of pictures to choose from for our book. With the package, we also had two engagement sessions and full day wedding coverage in all of our locations which was important to us.

I’d recommend DGM Photography for any occasion that calls for professional photography. For our wedding, we found the cost to be reasonable, and Dave was very flexible in terms of customizing a package to suit our budget. Dave also absorbed some shipping expenses since we lived in MD. Dave is VERY responsive by e-mail/phone, and he is persistent (but not pressurizing) when requesting needed info/ items to make your event go smoothly. That was SO important since I worked full time and was dealing with other vendors as well! Dave has a very proven process - an initial meeting, very thorough paperwork (you fill out) and a checklist to capture everything from event date/time, attendees, your wishes for certain scenes/events/people to be captured, taste/style, etc; and he presents clearly defined package options and pricing. My fiance and I had one meeting with Dave in Pittsburgh, put in the time up front to complete our paperwork thoroughly and all else was easily handled from MD. Dave was patient with all the e-mail exchanges. Generally speaking, Dave puts in much more time, care and resources than the quoted price reflects. He patiently went through several tweaks to our final album to satisfy me (marketing professional with photo layout experience AND as a 40-year-old first-time bride so HUGE lifetime event for me!) Besides the ceremony itself, the photography was most important to us, and we cherish our album! My co-workers said it is truly unique, with images embedded into soft backgrounds, and we chose a hard paged album (Album Epoca) with photos printed right on the pages vs. being inserted and held in place. Ultimately, Dave really captured our style and exceeded our expectations in terms of the final album, CDs (put our cake on one CD and our flowers on the other because we couldn't make room for those in our album), his five-star customer service, and his apparent personal investment in our special day! Once you choose your photos for the album, Dave starts out with a simple, basic layout and then gets feedback to feel out your style - contemporary, traditional, square photos or images superimposed and blended into a background. He nailed our style after just a few go-arounds! Dave is a very honest business man who can be trusted, and he genuinely cares! We were crushed when it stormed between our wedding and reception because outside photos at our beautiful old, Stone Mansion reception site were important to us. Dave thought to shoot photos of us getting out of the car under an umbrella, and once the weather cleared during dinner, he encouraged us to go outside for what became very beautiful and highly cherished sunset photos! Many photographers would not have done that, I believe - he truly cares about his customers and will go the extra mile! He took a close-up photo of my sister (maid of honor) kissing her 7-year-old (ring bearer) at the dinner table - face to face - and my sister was BLOWN AWAY when we framed it and gave it to her for her birthday. She since made several copies and put them in Christmas cards. It's been seven months since our wedding (and my busy schedule is why this well-deserved review is so late), and Dave surprised us with a beautiful Merry Christmas refrigerator magnet with one of our lovely sunset photos! I am now pregnant, and if pregnancy photos are something I consider doing, Dave will be my photographer - four hour drive or not!

Total reasonable service and all my guests loved the photo booth and the photographers stayed the entire night and the pictures I wanted them too.
