Di Bruno Bros. Catering

I've worked in the industry as an event planner for years and when I got engaged I knew I wanted DiBruno Bros. The food was delicious and so worth it! Darcy was communicative and helped customize a menu of stations and appetizers. She answered all my little questions, made sure all my extra notes were added to the BEO and communicated to the staff. She worked well with our wedding planner and the venue to coordinate logistics. Our tasting was such a great experience and a fun part of the wedding planning process. The cheese display was artistic and yummy. The appetizers were the best I've ever had and I've had a lot of hor d' ourves in my career. My guests are still going on and on about how good the food was and that's exactly what I wanted. I'm so glad I went with DiBruno's. It wasn't just a standard "wedding factory" type of experience; the food contributed to a memorable evening for us and our guests. I have also used DiBruno's for corporate events and will continue to do so.

DiBruno Bros. was an absolutely amazing caterer for our wedding in October 2021! We knew we wanted to use them because we've shopped at their stores many times, and quality of food was very important to us (we've been to too many weddings that served generic bland chicken). They had never worked with our venue before, but the process was seamless. Darcy worked with us to create a menu that was exactly what we wanted, all of our guests raved about the food, and still do. The Danny and Joe's Antipasti station was beautiful and bountiful, the passed appetizers kept coming at a fantastic pace, the stations for dinner (especially the cacio e pepe) were delicious and quick to serve our guests, and the bar service was on point. Darcy, Kito, the servers, chefs, bartenders, and the entire DiBruno staff were professional and friendly. We are absolutely thrilled with our experience with DiBruno and couldn't imagine using another caterer. Side note - they host tastings at their event venue "Banca" which is gorgeous if you're looking for an intimate venue.

We were incredibly pleased with our experience working with Di Bruno for our recent wedding at The Fillmore! Darcy made the process incredibly easy, the food options were great and the tasting was exactly the experience that we were looking for. The team was extremely attentive to our needs and received glowing reviews from so many people that attended. The food was delicious! They also worked incredibly well with our other vendors! I would 100% recommend Di Bruno to anybody that needs a top notch caterer for their wedding or event.

We used Di Bruno to cater a shower. Given the extra precautions needed with COVID we were looking for an alternative to traditional catering that could make guests feel at ease, while also ensuring they received an excellent meal. Di Bruno helped us do both with their gourmet boxed lunches and guests are still raving about the food! Stephanie helped us make selections that would delight our guests without having to reheat, but went above and beyond your typical sandwich. Guest favorites included the crab cake and the colorful grain bowl. We offered several choices and they were beautifully packaged including sides and silverware so that guests could grab easily and safely. Pickup at their Ardmore store was a breeze and made for easy setup and cleanup. Stephanie was a pleasure to work with and we can’t say enough wonderful things about the end to end experience and quality. Would highly recommended Di Bruno for your small or large gatherings!

We could not have been happier with choosing Di Bruno Bros. for our wedding on 3/20/21. They were so easy to work with, a big shout out to Stephanie for doing an amazing job with planning for our big day! They were also very flexible with changing plans to fit COVID restrictions. Antipasti platters were served to each table in addition to hors d'oeuvres. We had food stations for entrees instead of plated meals. We did the cacio e pepe station, taco station and prime rib station. They were all so good we can't pick a favorite! All of our guests raved about the food and talked about it for days. It was THAT good.

DiBruno Bros. was one of the recommended vendors at our venue and they lived up to the recommendation. Starting with the tasting, they were flexible with the menu and made changes to fit our needs and the dietary restrictions of our guests. Jackie gave recommendations for certain dishes, like the short rib, that would be best suited for our buffet style dinner. The presentation of the food was well thought out and fit the atmosphere we were looking for at the reception. We did not see cheap aluminum pans; instead they used cast iron pans, white ceramic bowls, and distressed serving plates that looked right at home in the rustic barn. The food itself was incredible, and the staff was kind, friendly, and attentive. We had a designated server that served us our dinner and made sure we had everything we needed. Everything from the hors d'oeuvres to the dinner and dessert was handled with a level of care and professionalism that we expected and we couldn't have asked for a better experience for ourselves or our guests!

We used Di Bruno Bros for our wedding and we were extremely impressed from the start to the finish. The tasting before we even decided to use them was professional and personalized. The communication on every step up to the day was organized and seamless. The day of was absolutely perfect. They delivered, set up and served without a single issue. Our day of coordinator even save us dishes to make sure we ate! I’d recommend using Di Bruno Bros for ant event not matter how big or small!

Jackie was our wedding coordinator (and basically planner) she was great! She made sure everything from food logistics to working w/ our DJ/ Photographer ran smoothly. The food was AMAZING. We had so many options and our guests still talk about the cheese spread to this day. I highly recommend Di Bruno Bros. They bring a different twist to the food vs a typical Country Club menu. You know you're getting quality food and service when choosing Di Bruno.

Di Bruno Bros. made my wedding dreams become reality. I wanted a wedding cake made out of cheese and this company curated a masterpiece! I fell in love instantly.

Di Bruno's was the perfect fit for our September Philly wedding with their mix of brilliant traditional Italian foods and funky twists on local classics. Our venue (Powel House, also amazing) had a short list of catering options and Di Bruno's was not only our favorite food but one of the more reasonably priced choices among the options we had.  We worked with Amy who helped guide us through the difficult selection process and build a menu that our guests are still raving about weeks later. The Di Bruno's team on-site at our wedding was incredible. Not only did every dish come out even better than our tastings, they happily engaged with our guests and enjoyed being a part of the party, explaining how they cook a number of the favorite dishes to our inquisitive foodie friends and family.  While everything was great, the biggest highlights were the Danny and Joe's Antipasti, the Cheesesteak Calzones, and the unbelievable Cacio E Pepe, fettuccine spun in a hollowed out wheel of parmesan cheese. We aren't huge cake people so we had fresh made pizzelles and cannoli for dessert, both were also huge hits and fun interactive desserts that our guests loved. We could not recommend Di Bruno Bros and Amy more!

You can't go wrong with Di Brunos, a Philly classic. There are so many options, from casual sandwiches to fun stations to elegant plated meals. We did a cocktail style reception that included the massive antipasto display, cacio e pepe action station, spedini (great variety), and some vegan sides - get the eggplant marsala. They made everything extremely easy by booking linens, bartenders, rentals, etc. They were also terrific working to fit our budget and even took a pretty hands on approach to helping manage the full scope of the event. Cannot recommend them enough, guests still raving about the food and you get a lot of value for what you pay. A great local family owned business, treat their customers first class.

We did appetizers and the guest said they could have just that for dinner because there was so much delicious food! They even did a vegan hit appetizer for our guests. The staff was great too and there was never a lull in service. Great to with with throughout planning!
