About this vendor
Diadem Flower Co. creates thoughtful, seasonal wedding flowers through a simpler, more transparent process. Couples build their own package from a carefully developed floral menu designed to make planning easier while maintaining the same commitment to beautiful, intentional design.
Led by florist and artist Colleen Raney, Diadem's work is rooted in strong design principles, seasonal materials, and a belief that wedding flowers should feel personal without becoming overwhelming. Each arrangement is designed in your chosen color palette using seasonally available flowers, with opportunities for customization when needed.
Sustainability remains at the heart of our work. We prioritize local and seasonal blooms whenever possible, source responsibly, and use design techniques that minimize waste. The result is a wedding flower experience that is approachable, thoughtfully designed, and grounded in the belief that beauty doesn't have to be complicated.

I would give Colleen 10 stars if I could! She was so wonderful to work with. She really got to know me and my partner, took the time to understand our vision and ideas (and sift th...
rough the many notes and Pinterest boards I shared), and helped us create the perfect floral design. Colleen was incredibly responsive, flexible, and paid very close attention to detail. She also put together multiple proposals for us with many different options and price points that fit in our budget. And the finished product was even better than I could have imagined! As an added bonus, she grows all of the flowers herself at her flower farm!
I highly recommend Diadem Flowers!
Colleen is a true artist, executing the florals for my wedding after truly hearing what I wanted. She took that inspiration and created beauty. My big day would not have been the s...
ame without her! She even stayed after the ceremony to help transfer the florals from the ceremony, over to the reception and gather arbor flowers for donation the next day, per my request. TRULY THE BEST!! Did I mention shes also a sustainable flower farmer, not shipping her flowers but instead growing all of them with love and care. SUPPORT LOCAL AND SHOP SMALL
Colleen absolutely blew our floral expectations out of the water for our wedding! I have a background in the environment so I was very focused on making this an environmentally fri...
endly event. Colleen went above and beyond, as she always does, and sourced us local wonders that she turned into beautiful arrangements.
We had multiple meetings with her where she helped us narrow in on our vision, build a color palette, and make some important decisions. The entire time she was compassionate and listened to everything we had to say. You could tell that she was TOTALLY involved in making our big day special.
One of our favorite things was that she is full service. She was there on time and wayyyy before the wedding started until the end of the event when she cleaned up all the arrangements. She and her crew even made small bouquets from our arrangements for guests to take home so nothing would go to waste.
100% recommend her for any and all events!
Colleen 100% delivered on everything I imagined for our wedding. I approached her almost a year in advance with a few ideas, and she was flexible and worked with me to develop a pe...
rfect floral vision for the ceremony, bridal bouquet, and reception flowers. I also loved that many of her flowers come directly from her own garden in Mount Vernon, including the absolutely stunning array of dahlias at our wedding. Following her on Instagram now, I am consistently impressed with her creatively and diverse floral arrangements. After looking at a few vendors, I was also appreciative of her transparent pricing so I could stay within my original budget. You won’t be disappointed!!
I got the privilege of working with Colleen for my wedding and was so happy with my decision to choose her for as my florist. Colleen is SO nice, so genuine, and honestly no joke m...
y favorite vendor I worked with for my event. She cared about me beyond just arranging flowers for my big day--she took time to learn about me genuinely as a person and how I was doing emotionally with the entire wedding planning process. Colleen also did AMAZING work--people loved the flowers and they really added to the space. I showed her some inspirations and she really ran with it. Flowers were subtle but beautiful, and didn't take away from the wedding, but added onto it (as they should!). If you are wondering if Colleen is right for you--trust me, she IS. She goes above and beyond and my day was absolutely amazing, thanks to Colleen. Hire her!!!
Flowers were lovely. Thank you!
Colleen was way more than a florist! She was in many ways a therapist and a helpful hand she went above and beyond for our wedding day! We had some hurricane force winds on an isla...
nd in Maine and she was like NO prob! Barely batted an eye at it. She was so communicative and helpful through the entire process and we cannot recommend her enough!
Working with Colleen in Fall of 2021 was a dream! She took the time to understand the type of event we were having, my likes and dislikes, and I felt SO comfortable giving her crea...
tive license to create something beautiful that fit our needs! Supporting local, small farms, and small businesses is important to me and I’m so glad I got to work with Colleen!
I can’t speak highly enough of Colleen and her crew and what she was able to transform my wedding into. We were across the country so we had to meet only virtually with her and se...
nt some Pinterest inspiration along with the colors of our bridesmaids dresses. She was honest, understanding, and quick to respond to any changes or questions. She was extremely knowledgeable about local plants and what would work with our wedding theme. When we finally got to meet her and see our outdoor rented wedding set up it was beyond what we could have even imagine. She included everything we wanted and then some. It was perfect and she came early the next day to take everything down. I honestly couldn’t recommend anyone any more highly.
Colleen is, without a doubt, the best vendor I worked with for my wedding. She is easy to work with, very generous with her time and emotional intelligence/energy, and creates beau...
tiful designs. I believe every single guest at our wedding complimented the flowers - no exaggeration. We kept things “pretty simple” with florals, but that is the very last word I would use to describe what Colleen designed for us. Because of the late frost in Maine this year, we were lucky to get flowers entirely from Colleen’s farm, which was super special. Another reason I loved working with Colleen, is that she is very eco-focused - something important to us. She works tirelessly to promote sustainable floral design and farming practices, and the results are incredible. I still think about my wedding florals daily, and you will too if you work with Colleen!
Colleen was absolutely amazing throughout the whole process. We didn’t want to spend tons of money and she was so accommodating about what we could fit in our budget. The bouquets ...

Colleen was awesome to work with. We had a video conference in the beginning to discuss what type of flowers would work best for my beach wedding. After informing her that I have a...
bsolutely zero knowledge about flower types, she took my color choices and made my wedding really pop! Communication was easy and on the wedding day she stayed until after the ceremony since I was using some bridesmaids bouquets as centerpieces and other decor at the venue to save money. Thank you so much Colleen!

med. She managed to find a way to include everything I wanted. In particular lilacs are very meaningful to me and to my family. I knew it was long shot having them in June but she worked some sort of magic and was able to make my dreams come true. Her kindness, support and humor went a long way through planning, postponing and finally getting to have our perfect wedding. She made me literally the most magical bouquet with everything I wanted. It meant so much to me to have those particular flowers with me on my wedding day. If you want an incredible person to make your floral dreams come true. This is your person.
