Diamond Entertainment is a wedding DJ company in San Diego, CA. We have all been to a wedding where the wedding entertainment was terrible. The DJ did not take requests, played boring music, and talked way too much on the microphone. The DJ may have even shown up late and had issues running the sound equipment. Diamond Entertainment was created to ensure you don’t have that experience.
Your wedding will be transformed by an experienced wedding DJ who will read your dance floor to play the music that will have your dance floor packed all night long and play the music that you request on our online wedding planner. Additional add-ons of wedding musicians, uplighting, LED foam sticks, and dance floor lighting will leave your guest with a night they won’t soon forget.

We had the pleasure of working with Chad and Nadia, the new owners of Diamond Entertainment, for our wedding reception.
Chad's Professionalism:
Chad was calm, cool, and collected throughout the event. He set everything up flawlessly and his execution was excellent. His timing for important announcements was spot-on.
Flexibility:
When we needed extra time to fix a dress issue before the speeches, Chad was willing to adjust the schedule on the fly, showing great flexibility and understanding. This in addition to the pre-event adjustments that were made for our live musician at cocktail hour when the previous scheduled musician had to cancel last minute. With only a weeks’ notice they were able to find a wonderful substitution who exceeded our expectations.
Live Music:
For cocktail hour, we requested a live musician to play guitar and sing while guests enjoyed their food and drinks. Although she had little notice, Kira, was fantastic and even incorporated some of the song requests we had made of the previous musician. With her wonderful voice and strong presence while singing, Kira was an incredible addition to the opening portion of our evening.
Music and Atmosphere:
The dance floor was packed the entire evening, a testament to Chad's ability to read the room and keep the energy high. He masterminded a night of great dancing that had everyone moving. The lights that he brought and setup at the DJ area were a wonderful addition to the festivities. They synced with the music and provided a live show that added extra excitement to the dance floor.
Special Moments:
The highlight of the night was when Chad played Taylor Swift's "Love Story" as the final song, at our request. Everyone still present was on the dance floor, singing along, making it a truly unforgettable moment.
Considering that they took over ownership of the company just months before our event, we couldn’t have imagined things going much smoother. Wow, where do we even start?! Diamond Entertainment was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding! First of all, their consultation was professional and it was easy to get along with DJ Joe who we originally spoke with. When it came time to book, we received Kyle as our wedding DJ. Diamond Entertainment's website was easy to use and they sent lots of reminders/follow-ups to see if we needed any assistance and to keep us "on-track" for planning ahead. As the wedding neared, DJ Kyle hopped on calls with us as a couple and with our Coordinator to ensure our day was everything we envisioned. He was extremely detailed and had a great attitude for making our day special. When the actual day came around, we hit a lot of bumps due to it literally thunderstorming in Southern California (how rare, but lucky us). DJ Kyle was prepared to bring the party, rain or shine, and was able to adapt to our everchanging timeline throughout the day. We ended up having an epic dance party in the rain and we couldn't thank DJ Kyle & Diamond Entertainment enough!!
DJ Joe is the man! We knew that music was going to be a very important part of our wedding and we are so happy we went with Diamond Entertainment and DJ Joe. He uses a great platform where we were able to make playlists for ceremony seating, cocktail hour, and open dancing. He stuck to the playlists, which we appreciated, and our guests loved every minute! The dance floor was poppin’ the whole time! He was super helpful with making announcements for us, and the entire day went so smoothly. I highly recommend DJ Joe and Diamond Entertainment!
I worked with DJ Kyle from Diamond Entertainment at a wedding last weekend in Escondido. He was incredible!!! Not only did he keep the energy up and all the guests dancing , he also set up another whole mic/speaker system up for the ceremony and photographer. Everything went perfectly!
No awkward feedback, no glitches with the audio and all the levels were PERFECT for the ceremony and dancing! I can't tell you what a difference this makes! Don't think about it, just make your life easy and hire them!

I cannot say enough about how amazing this company was both before and during our wedding. Joe was amazing with communication before we even had a contract signed and he was great checking in on us throughout the planning process. We had DJ Kyle as our DJ and HE WAS AMAZING!!!! A week later I am still getting messages about how great the music was, he kept the dance floor full the entire night, he was extrememly attentive to my husband and I throughout the night and hit every vibe we wanted. He even helped customize the exact shade of uplighting I wanted! If you are looking for a DJ company who knows what they're doing check these guys out. I would recc to anyone, they were amazing.

Joe gave us a super user-friendly website to use to help him understand the type of music we wanted at our wedding, and even gave us the opportunity to make our own playlists and make special song requests through the online portal. It was an extremely customizable experience, which my husband and I really appreciated.
Joe worked with our onsite event staff to get his gear set up and communicated effectively with everyone right up until the last minute. He frequently checked in with me throughout the reception to make sure everything was good and that the timeline was adhered to. He stuck to the plan while also making sure everyone was having a great time - all characteristics of an excellent wedding DJ! Thank you DJ Joe for really bringing the party - our friends and family are still talking about how they never left the dance floor!
Joe was awesome from start to finish. Communicative, and timely, always making it feel like he cared about helping make the day great. When the entire timeline/location for sound was changed mid-reception, he rolled right with it and somehow got everything where it was needed. He kept the dancing going and put so much of our style mixed in with guest requests!
Steve was great! He really worked with us and our wedding day coordinator as the schedule was a little challenged to stay on point! The music was great and the whole event was better than we could’ve hoped for!

DJ Lilly was the best! We had her come and DJ for our wedding and she was perfect. I didn't have it together at all and I gave her some ideas of songs I liked and didn't and she ran with it and did an amazing night. Everyone was dancing and having so much fun. I was so sad when it was over. Would 100% use again!
Diamond Entertainment came through for us for all of the music needs at our wedding! When looking for music, we were really keen on having live music during our cocktail hour - this can easily be added onto any package here which was so convenient for coordination purposes. Their pricing was also amazingly reasonable - we were so happy we were able to get exactly what we wanted within our budget. Our DJ (Kyle) and musician (Joe) were both on time, organized, and made it so easy for us to plan exactly what we wanted. We did not have a ton of specific directives when it came to music, but both Kyle and Joe understood the vibe of our event and delivered great music that our guests loved. We are so happy we had them at our wedding and would highly recommend Diamond Entertainment to anyone looking for DJs/live music for their special event.
DJ Joe was amazing!! We hired him for live music at cocktail hour and DJ services for ceremony and reception and he did a great job! Prior to the wedding, Joe was great at communicating and made us feel comfortable with the planning process. We loved getting to add music to the planning platform being it was so simple! My husband and I have a particular music taste and he was able to include everything we wanted. Dancing was super important to me and man did we boogey thanks to DJ Joe!!

We hired DJ Joe for our wedding, and he was so easy to work with, and prompt to respond to any inquiries or requests we had with a smile. Diamond Entertainment has an online system for music choices that's easy to use, and you can even link Youtube or Spotify for foreign language songs or anything they don't have upfront. Joe was an excellent DJ, not only for the dancing half of the night (the dance floor was lit until the very last minute), but also the logistics of the ceremony, reception, etc.

We booked DJ Joe for 5 hours at our venue. He was very helpful with wedding planning resources well ahead of the date, and his online platform was super easy to use to add songs to our playlist. It even broke down the song selections into categories which made it really easy to assign a 'first dance' distinct from the 'cake cutting' etc. He was very friendly during the wedding and was everything we could've asked for of our DJ. We'd definitely recommend him to our friends and family!
We hired Diamond Entertainment for our wedding at Stone Liberty Station after they were recommended by the venue. Our DJ was DJ Kyle. He was great! He was communicative throughout the whole process, played all the songs we wanted (including one that the groom's brother made), and was great to chat with! I highly recommend DJ Kyle! He made the wedding so much fun!
DJ Alex absolutely killed it! The dance floor was jam packed the entire night! Alex was on top of it and organized from the start, making sure he knew exactly our music vision. We were so extremely happy with Joe’s services for our April 2022 wedding! He was referred to us by our photographer Ashley, and after talking to him the first time we knew we wanted him at our wedding. He was extremely responsive and made us feel at ease for everything at the wedding! The music he played was perfect and everyone was dancing until he did our exit at the end of the night! It was a blast! I do and would recommend him to everyone!
Joe is awesome! He communicates extremely well and makes the whole planning process a breeze. We really appreciated the detail he puts into his timeline and how he took care to make sure everything was ready to go so all we had to do the day of was show up and have a good time.
The ceremony audio equipment was perfect and clear. Joe was especially mindful of the location near the water and his equipment was set up so that wind would not be a negative factor during our ceremony.
We also had Joe play guitar and sing for our cocktail hour. He did a great job and had the perfect set list and even accommodated my wife's request (Jonas Brothers).
Joe was great at reading the room and had a perfect DJ set that kept us and our guests dancing the whole time when we were done with dinner. You can tell he really loves his job and he was dancing in his booth the whole time with us.

Joe, the owner, was our dj at our wedding and he was AMAZING! He was spot on with our Playlist, got everyone dancing, everything he said from introducing us to the last dance was perfect. Everyone at our wedding loved him! And watching him totally enjoy and have fun being a dj was great! I would recommend him to everyone.
Just having to wedding plan for my wedding this past January, I know that it can be quite stressful. When it comes to vendors, it can also be nerve racking when you don’t know for sure how well they will do. Look no further because Diamond Entertainment provides everything you want and need for your music planning! First of all DJ Joe is the best! He is so fun, energetic, and easy to work with! He responds to emails very promptly and answers any questions you may have. His online planning tools as well as himself also help in the planning process. Everything is very easy to use and navigate around in planning each detail from special songs (first dance, ceremony, father daughter dance, etc) to reception dancing. He provides a list of songs as a guide to help along the way or you can type in any song you’d like (he has a wide range of songs). In addition, we all know weddings can be expense and us brides are always looking at the price tag. Diamond Entertainment is very affordable and has add ons that are optional but also affordable. They’re affordable prices does not mean they do any less of a job than any other DJ company - in fact I believe they go over and beyond expectations!
Throughout the year and upon wedding week, he called to go over all final details to ensure everything is correct and in place for the big day. On wedding day he arrived on time with a smile on his face ready to have a great time. His personality and charisma make you feel like long time friends! He played all my top songs, took requests as I have allowed, and everyone had a blast throughout the night. We all wanted to keep the night going! DJ Joey did a great job with our wedding! He was extremely professional and easy to work with. From the moment the music started at our wedding, we didn't want the party and flow to stop. Joey did a great job keeping the energy high and people having a great time on the dance floor. We submitted a rather long list of requested songs and through the entire night, he was able to mix them all in and create an extra special touch to our wedding. He also was more then willing to stay later then we originally planned seeing nobody wanted the night to end!
Joe is seriously the most communicative, punctual, professional vendor I've ever worked with. He really executed his duties as MC and DJ perfectly. I was so happy to work with Joe and all of our guests loved him. He kept us on schedule, played only songs within the set genres and boundaries we had given him, and spoke to us and our guests with genuine patience and respect all night (even when we were all a little drunk!). Diamond Entertainment has a great DJ planning system that helped us plan and put together the perfect song list for our cocktail hour and reception. DJ Joe was always open for phone calls, texts, emails, video calls, and any other method of communication in order to discuss any questions with the planning process. Despite the fact that post-COVID has to be the most busy any vendors in SOCAL have ever been, you wouldn't know it-- because Diamond Entertainment ALWAYS makes you their top priority. These guys really does know how to handle whatever gets thrown at them, always keeping it fun and stress-free for you on your wedding day. We had DJ Joe and we’re beyond impressed! As the garter toss was being set up I realized that the garter was missing and I was having a breakdown. Joe told a funny joke to all the guests and we were able to postpone until later in the night when the garter was found. We had multiple people come up to us and rave about the DJ and how great the music was all night. If you want everyone up and out on the dance floor this is the DJ for you!

We had DJ Joe for our wedding and he was absolutely amazing. From the moment that we even had a thought of using him the whole experience was flawless. DJ Joe was very thoughtful and had multiple calls/facetimes with us to ensure that he was a perfect fit out of the group and to make sure he knew exactly what we wanted. I wouldn't have wanted to have any one else be our DJ. On the actual day, DJ Joe did an incredible job. He didn't just set a playlist and walk away. We were extremely happy with the company's services. From the beginning as we tried to plan our wedding last minute your website had absolutely everything we needed to pick the perfect music for our wedding. The planning tips were very helpful. DJ Steve was very personable and made sure everything flowed smoothly. During our wedding reception, DJ Steve helped the timing events flow. The music he played was incredible. We requested the music to not be loud from the beginning and he did exactly that. The lights we got were awesome! 10/10 would recommend this company to anyone who needs a DJ.
WOW. Where to begin. We were planning a "destination" wedding in San Diego and did an internet search for best DJs in the area. I narrowed it down to a few and did some phone calls (covid planning.) Once I spoke to DJ Joe for just a few minutes, I knew he was the perfect fit! He was so personable and organized the entire planning process and kept us on track. On the wedding day, Joe was professional, punctual, and very thoughtful to us. He kept the bangers going all night and the dance floor full! I only wish service went quicker at the venue so we could have danced longer! Your wedding day goes so quick and even perfectly planned, you as the bride and groom forget things. DJ Joe remembered everything we spoke about and stayed on top of all announcements, songs, etc. He even had "make it rain" ready in SECONDS when one of our friends pulled out an impromptu money gun on the dancefloor. I can't say enough good things about Joe and we love his covid hair! BOOK HIM NOW, YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT!

Joe was so understanding and went above and beyond to help us through the rescheduling process. Once or wedding day finally came in 2021 our event went perfectly! thanks to joe and all of our other vendors this day was perfect! highly recommend Diamond Entertainment for any special event!
Joe with Diamond Entertainment was absolutely amazing and a true joy to have DJ our wedding. Everything seemed natural and flowed so well. Not only did Joe match our music preferences perfectly, but he also performed really well doing acoustics/singing during cocktail hour. I would refer Joe to any couple that is having a wedding and, honestly, I would have paid double what we did for his services. We are beyond impressed with Joe and his ability to keep a party going. 10/10.
Where do we start?! Joe exceeded all of our expectations from the first time talked about our desires for our big day all the way through the last song of the night on Wedding day. The man is hyper talented: setting the mood on his acoustic guitar before the wedding as our guests arrived and during the processional, acted as our MC introducing the wedding party + releasing people for dinner AND got the people moving as he cranked out the hits all night long.
Joe was very helpful & provided quick feedback throughout the entire planning process. He will share a cheat sheet for you to populate what songs you’re looking for so he can understand what vibe you’re looking for at your event. If for a wedding, the cheat sheet also lists out the different parts of the ceremony/reception where music is played so you can share what songs you want AND provides 20-25 suggestions for each (Processional, Recessional, First Dance, etc.). Picking the desired music for our day was made easy, enjoyable and went without a hitch!
Joe’s ability, performance and professionalism are the best we’ve ever experienced. Thanks to him, he helped make our ceremony and reception better than we ever imagined. You’re the man Joe!

If you want a fun wedding & a DJ who is there to support your personal vision - Joe is definitely your guy! I have never been the most creative person & I have never made the best playlists - so thank goodness I had Joe as the DJ at my wedding! He was so patient & responsive during the entire wedding process & ensured that the night went off without a hitch! His online planning platform is so easy to use & he gets a really good vibe for how you want your wedding to feel. Each individual playlist for the ceremony, dinner, and dancing were awesome & everyone had such a fun time. Joe will absolutely make your wedding vision come to life no matter what it is!
Planning a wedding during COVID was NO easy feat but having wonderful vendors made our dream wedding possible. We first came across Diamond Entertainment at a wedding vendor showcase and their music was spot on what we were hoping for. We hired Joe as our DJ and to play acoustic guitar during the ceremony. My husband and I created some inspiration spotify playlists and easily shared them using Diamond Entertainment's platform. Joe did such an incredible job creating the perfect soundtrack for the evening.
Dancing is a sensitive subject with the new rules but Joe handled it gracefully. His personality and handling of the dancing portion was truly the best. He encouraged guests to wear masks and celebrate while also continuing to keep the bangers coming. We had the BEST dance party planning everything from 2000s Rap, R&B and EDM. Multiple guests said it was the best wedding DJ they had heard. Even the wedding next door tried to come enjoy the music because it was THAT good!

I’d say we were incredibly happy with how Joe did and really enjoyed working with him. He was attentive, flexible, and on top of the scheduling for the day. We could tell he knew what he was doing. He was very good at reading the dance floor and letting one track move to another. He knew exactly when to do the slow song too without us even having to say which song to invite all of the couples out to dance was. His personality was great and I would definitely recommend him to anyone needing a DJ.
Joe was a fantastic DJ! We had to make many changes to our wedding with short notice and Joe was extremely kind and flexible throughout the process. He made sure to play all the songs we wanted, and read the crowd throughout the night to keep the party going. We would highly recommend Joe for your wedding or event needs.
Due to COVID-19 we had to reschedule our wedding from this October to next April. We of course had to confirm a new date with our venue first and were nervous that all of our other vendors wouldn’t be able to reschedule for that exact new date. However, Joe made it as painless as possible! He was extremely prompt with his response (same day), was able to easily switch to our new date, and quickly sent me a follow up email with our new contract/date and payment info. He made it as easy as it could be and was more than friendly about it all. These are tough times for everyone and we all need companies like this to help make it more manageable. Definitely choose Diamond Entertainment if you are looking for flexibility, punctuality, and friendliness!
Our wedding had to be postponed due to COVID but Joe has been there every step of the way to getting everything situated. Communication has been great and we can't wait to have him at our wedding!
Working with Joe with Diamond Entertainment has been an amazing experience! My fiancé and I had to make the tough decision to postpone our wedding during the extremely unexpected COVID-19 pandemic and things could not have been easier with Joe. We emailed him saying we had to postpone and he was so accommodating and very quick to respond. We now have our wedding planned for a later date and are so happy to have Joe and Diamond Entertainment to DJ our wedding and make it the perfect evening that it was supposed to be! We highly recommend him and his team!
We hired Joe early on in our wedding planning and were very excited to have him DJ our May 16th, 2020 wedding. Then the pandemic hit and my fiance and I had to face the difficult decision to postpone our wedding to later this coming fall. When I reached out to Joe about rescheduling our date, he was so understanding about our situation and super responsive. We were able to reschedule within 30 minutes of reaching out to him. We haven't been able to hold our ceremony yet, but so far Joe has been a dream to work with. He was super helpful in the planning stages, asking detailed questions about what we wanted, our timeline, and provided a free web platform to help us. Due to the current state of the world, we had to delay our event, and Joe was wonderful then too. He did not charge us any fees to transfer our date, and was very helpful and supportive during the whole process. We simply informed him via email that our event was cancelled and notified him of the new date, he sent us as new contract and delayed the last payment to reflect the new event date rather than the original, which was very helpful. We resigned for the new date at that was all! No muss no fuss. I look forward to working with him as our new date approaches.
Joe was seriously the absolute best DJ possible. He kept in contact with us all the way to the wedding day and even after!! He sent us a thank you card with his cute little dogs too! He cared about making our wedding fun and making sure we were happy! He asked us what we wanted and helped us when we told him we had no idea. We trusted him to pick the music for almost the entire wedding. Let’s just say the dance floor was occupied the entire night!! He played guitar for our ceremony which was so beautiful. He embraced our nerdy side and even learned the Star Wars theme song for me to walk down the aisle to. I could not have been happier with his services. He got personal with us and learned who we were and did amazing portraying it through his music selection. I would recommend over and over again for him because he is the best, hands down!!! We had Joe as our DJ/Guitarist and literally....he was AMAZING.
My husband and I created a spotify playist for some wedding inspiration and gave it to Joe but told him that it was inspo. Whatever he did was PERFECT. We had to hire him last minute after some sad news about our initial DJ and I am so glad that Joe came to our rescue because he gave us the BEST party we could have hoped for.
I come from a hispanic background and knew that I needed to have a good mixture of spanish music thrown in and he really listened to this and added so many spanish songs so that my family (and myself) could move our latin hips.
Literally everyone after the wedding told us how amazing the music was. No one wanted to leave after our cutoff time, it was that great.

Joe was so great and Diamond Entertainment was the perfect choice for us. Nowhere else offers DJ services and live music all for one low price. He saved us hundreds of dollars without having to sacrifice products. We had him DJ our ceremony and reception, and play the acoustic guitar during our cocktail hour and he even provided uplighting at no additional charge for our reception. He also really knew how to keep the party going; realizing if people weren't feeling a song and fading it so as to keep the dance floor full. He was also a fabulous MC and did his best to keep us on time for our announcements etc. My only critique is that there were some speaker issues (loud popping sounds during the processional and quiet barely audible and distorted music at the beginning of the recessional) that sort of ruined the effect I was trying to create. This bothered me since I was the bride but no one else seemed to notice or even register it; They just remembered what a great dance party we had afterward! So all things being said he was still wonderful and provided a fantastic service to us at a great price. We highly recommend him!
I can not explain how great of a job Joe did at our wedding. He kept the party going, there were always people on the dance floor. Even after the wedding all of our guest were talking about how much fun they had. From the beginning Joe was great to work with. He went above and beyond making sure everything was perfect. Joe seriously did such an awesome job! He kept everyone dancing the entire night! All of the guests commented how good the DJ was and how great the music was, etc. Not only that, but he went above and beyond and even helped the venue staff during dinner when he had music all set for the meal. Would 10/10 recommend him for anyone's wedding or any type of celebration.

I found Joe for our San Diego wedding because he is originally from Iowa, like my husband, so he obviously has a great personality. After our intro call I knew he would be perfect for us as he was kind, helpful, fun, personable, and transparent. He met all of our requests, and gave his opinion and encouragement on our ideas when I asked. He did as little or as much announcing as requested. When our party was on the dance floor he played similar genre songs to keep them there, including ones on my must play list.
As a huge added bonus, also why we chose him, he can play guitar! Joe played our cocktail hour and then switched to DJ for our reception, perfect.
My advice to other weddings is that I would always choose to work with Joe over other flashy, overpriced, not as friendly DJ’s. He was professional, easy to work with, enjoys his job, and was like seeing a friend when we arrived at the reception.

Joe is the man! We knew our wedding DJ would be the most important vendor for us. My husband and I love dancing and we are super specific about our music. We had a hard time finding a DJ because we had such a hodge podge of music genres that we wanted to be played (hip hop, r&b, and like 5 subgenres of EDM like house, techno, trance, psytrance, dubstep) and joe offered us a solution! He offered to do a sample mix of these genres for me and my husband and I found ourselves screaming in excitement that we’d found ~the one~!!! On top of that, his prices were super fair and he was able to stay as long as we needed him. Joe kept the dance floor packed all night and exceeded all expectations. Joe’s also lightning fast at responding to emails, he’s organized, and he’s so nice to talk to! 10/10 would recommend him!!
Joe was awesome! When we met with Joe the first time, we knew he was the DJ for us. He is full of life and has good people skills. Since we are 80's kids, we wanted more mix of older classic rock n roll. Joe was very knowledgeable in all genres of music and had helpful hints for us when we needed it. He kept the dance floor rocking and kept the guests entertained. He is also fantastic guitar player. We had him do the before, during and after ceremony music. Joe was a LIFE-SAVER!!! He was absolutely amazing!!! He was really kind and easy to talk to and when our wedding coordinators disappeared on us he took control of what we had to do ..i.e like our first dance, cake cutting, bouquet toss, and sparkler exit..he did it all and we were sooo relieved!. I don’t even know where to start. Joe is so friendly, charismatic, organized, and creative. He made our day extra special by playing baby shark so our toddler niece could dance. We had our wedding at the Mission Beach Women's Club in San Diego on 9/8/18. Our ceremony was on the beach and the reception was inside the venue. Joe was our DJ/MC and did an amazing job setting up both locations! The microphones we're loud enough so everyone heard our vows, the music was exactly what we had asked for, and even when my husband forgot to pick a song for the garder toss, DJ Joe knew exactly what to play! I got rave reviews from our guests about Joe as well. People were requesting songs and he played every single one of them! Our particular group was not big on dancing, but at a couple times throughout the night everyone was on the dancefloor having a great time! DJ Joe made our wedding amazing (at a VERY affordable price might I add) and I highly recommend this company for your next party! We had Diamond Entertainment DJ our wedding a few weekends ago back in Iowa and Joe made it so easy for us. He sent us forms to fill out that helped my husband and I know what we were wanting for music at the wedding and reception because neither of us had any clue. He stayed in contact about our big day months leading up to it and on the wedding day he let us know when he was all set up and ready to go.

Wow, this is probably the most exciting party I have ever had, and I must say that DJ Joe performed well above my expectation.
