The rehearsal dinner for my daughter and son-in-law was very nice. The food was delicious!
We hosted our wedding here in November 2015, and it was a wonderful experience! The staff was incredible, beyond belief really. They all genuinely cared about making our day as spe...
cial as we did. Kim Keen (the director & coordinator) was awesome, she really went the extra mile to make sure we were satisfied with everything. Kim was wonderful through the whole process, she was there every step of the way. I would highly recommend Diamond Oaks to anybody looking for an affordable yet gorgeous place to host your wedding. We did our ceremony outside and reception inside; it was stunning. The location is so beautiful. Also, the catering staff.... wow!!! They did a wonderful job! The service was great and the food was even better. We got compliments all night on the food, and for weeks after the wedding. Our compliments to the chef, the food was delicious. Everybody kept saying it was the best "wedding food" they've ever eaten. My husband and I have been back to the club 3 times now just to enjoy dinner; YES, it's that's good! Anyways, I just wanted to say a massive Thank You to everybody at Diamond Oaks for making our day so special and memorable. You guys did a wonderful job and Chase and I could not have hoped for better. We appreciate all of you and the effort you put towards our day. Thank You! -Mr. and Mrs. Clegg
We used D.O.C.C for both our ceremony and reception. The ceremony area needs some work. The gazebo is really rotted and we were unable to stand on it without falling through. Unfor...
tunately we did not notice this until the night before during the rehearsal and there was really nothing that could be done to fix this in time. The food and drinks were great and at a reasonable price. The staff was polite and the facilities were nice and clean. Our biggest issue and one of the reasons we would not recommend this place to anyone would be the on site coordinator James. From the first time I met him he didn't seem very polite and always seemed like we were wasting his time. I sometimes felt intimidated asking him questions. The day of the wedding we didn't see him at all. I feel as though a quick hello to see how things were going would have been enough but we didn't even get that. I'm not one to want to write poorly about people but I feel like this issue with the coordinator needs to be known before you pick this venue.
We had a wonderful time at our wedding thanks to James. He ensured the wedding went as smoothly as I hoped.
My guests absolutely loved our venue. The staff was very helpful and went above and beyoond to help make our day perfect.
We had our wedding reception at Diamond Oaks. The food was good, and the ballroom was nice. Luckily, I had people come that morning to set up the decorations, but when they got the...
re the mirrors and things that Diamond Oaks had set up on the table already were filthy. My parents had to go get wipes and clean them, their selves. The dvd set up was not very good for the slideshow, but finally they got it figured out after about 10 minutes of 5 different people trying to figure it out. James, the wedding person there was not very friendly, seemed kind of arrogant. Overall we had a great reception, but I would give the thanks to my family and friends that went to set up not the country club itself.
My parents were once members of this country club and suggested my fiance and I check it out for our wedding venue. Everything about this place is great! James Bond was always very...
helpful and answered all of my questions when I had them. The outdoor wedding area is very simple, but with a little flowers or potted/hanging plants, it is really lovely with the golf course in the background. The food was amazing! We had a buffet with both the carving station and pasta bar. We also had an open bar with unlimted beer, wine, soft drinks, and water. The indoor reception area was beautiful as well. They don't allow you to hang anything on the walls, but with their decorations and the uplighting from the DJ, plus the fireplace, there is really no need to decorate the walls. The cost was also important to me, this was one of the cheapest places we found, and we still got so much! The only issue I had, which is really not that big of a deal, was that the area where we get ready is also the lockerroom. My hairdresser is a man and we were all in there getting ready, when a member walked in and rudely told him to get out, which was then followed a few minutes later by an employee reminding us that any males must leave when a member enters. I understand this completely, it had honestly not crossed my mind, however, it ticked me off a little when it was quite obvious what we were all doing in there and this member still felt the need to be rude. Other than that, this place is great and I would 100% recommend it to anyone looking for a fantastic venue.
All of the reviews you find will say that the director, James Bond is this wonderful man that works miracles.... He is certainly a salesman. He puts on the charm, friendliness, and...
a good show until the actual day of your wedding. For our rehearsal, he was short and rude to all of my wedding party. The day of the wedding, I was told I could come in and set up with my girls as early as 7am. We showed up at 9:45 and there were tablecloths missing, the ceremony site hadn't been set up, and he was no where to be found. My photographer had to ask him three times where to find us in the venue. The food was cold by the time I got to it (and I got right in line) and there was little to no alcohol in the frozen margaritas (which cost me $250 for 75 drinks). It definetly was not worth the $27 per person for dinner. The bartenders were great, the staff was nice, and the place was absolutely beautiful but the only thing less impressive than the food was the coordinator.
I couldn't have asked for a better location to have my reception! The space was gorgeous with one wall of floor to ceiling windows overlooking the greens, a fire place, and stage f...
or the band. We had nearly 200 guests and everyone had enough room to eat, socialize, and dance. The director of catering, James Bond, has had lots of experience organizing and planning events, and he was so helpful and made everything stress free! The service was great too! Some of the staff actually went and prepared a plated dinner for my husband and I so we actually got to eat a meal. Everything was perfect. If you get an opportunity to go to one of the complimentary open houses it will be well worth your while! I couldn't have been more satisfied!
I will start by saying this property is a bit older and in the middle of a residential area but that did not stop it from being beautiful and did not keep us from partying the nigh...
t away! From day one James, the events manager, was there by my side helping with anything and everything. He was quick to respond to all voicemails and emails within an hour! He let me change my mind all I wanted and was always available for me to come and see the place "just one more time." Everyone was excited when they say there was all the wine/beer you could drink and the value was priceless. The same went for the food. The pricing is more than reasonable especially for the general location. If you want to be taken care of, then ladies you need to meet James and have your event at Diamond Oaks!
James Bond was very professional, but down to earth. The food was great, the scenery was awesome, and everything ran smoothly. We were delayed for a few minutes, but we still had p...
lenty of fun. Would definitely recommend this place to any brides on a budget, but wanting the upscale feel to their wedding. We booked this place precisely because it gave us what we wanted within our budget. We got a deal! Food is included! (Something other places don't have and/or charge you separately for.) Two thumbs up!
DDOC was on vendor who assisted in the process and was willing to assist us in the budget, instead of trying to make more money and them coming out on top. Don't get me wrong ever...
ything was TOP NOTCH, but it was so wonderful to work with someone who cared.
It was an older country club with great charm. Not to uptight and free use of all facilities. James Bond (the director) was very friendly and eager to help.;We had some micommunic...
ation with the coordinator about some overbooking with the rehearsal dinner, so Just make sure you pick your dates and TIMES.
We were able to make it an indoor outdoor reception. The grand ball room was already booked, so we used a different, more narrow room but also had use of the large patio right out...
side that overlooked the golf course. It turned out to be a beautiful space. We were able to set up tables inside and out, so our guests were able to choose between the heat with a view or the A.C. The club was also able to accommodate our 5 piece band.;It seemed that the food ran out rather quickly. It was all set out or passed out in the very beginning, before my husband and I even had time to make it to the reception, so it was practically gone. This was not what we had asked for.
I loved that they had an outdoor ceremony area and an indoor reception area. We didn't have any restrictions; we could hang decorations, toss anything, and bring in outside decorat...
